A list of puns related to "Timber Timbre"
Been on a huge Timber Timbre binge, as well as other bands somewhat similar.
Was wondering if anyone had recommendations for artists similar to Timber Timbre. Specifically closer to Medicinalsβ sound of Dark folk. Anything that feels off kilter, eerie, uncomfortable, ambient, etc.
Other artists Iβve been obsessed with rn are Six Organs Of Admittance and Matt Elliot for reference.
Thanks in advance!
So, today I have heard the song "Run From Me" by Timber Timbre (a great song btw) but the second half of it just kind of shook me a little. It reminded me very clearly of the ending of some film as if it was the end credits scene from something. I cannot remember anything about the movie, or if it was a movie at all, but I feel like if there was a movie with a similar sounding ending track, it may have been Action in the genre, and came out between the 1990s at the latest to probably sometime within the last few years. If anyone knows of any songs that sound familiar to this, or any movies that use songs in them that sound similar to this, please let me know, this is really screwing with me. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Hey all, I have been trying to find a specific video/student film/meme that I had seen a few months back. I had originally seen it on the "Strangest Videos Online / StrangestMP4" YouTube series/channel, which I will be binging through again in hopes to find it. The video was filmed in a parking garage, and the intro to Timber Timbre's "Run From Me" was playing in the back, and sounded as if it was playing from a speaker in the garage itself. In the video, a person is filming what seems to be a humanoid-like creature, whose head is flesh-colored (or something of that sort) and has lines protruding out of it, kind of like an underwater mine. The creature was definitely malformed in some way, that's just how I remember it. It was a short video, the cameraman filming this entity until it seemed to have spotted him, which is when it begins to approach. The person filming then quickly runs to a room in the garage, getting into an elevator to escape the creature as it approaches, and the video ends. If anyone can help me find this, it would be appreciated, and I myself will be going through StrangestMP4's catalog of the Strangest Videos Online series to try to find it. If I can, I will let you all know, thought it would also be nice to try and find who was the original creator, as it is quite an interesting piece of work.
Edit: for those wondering, this is not related to the post I made before, which was about Run From Me, but was a different overall context of hearing the song.

I would love another timber timbre record this year. The pink room was a great single, but it only left me hungry for more songs of a similar theme. The self titled album was a great meditation on folk and darkness, and after the past year, a return to their roots would be a lot of fun.
I remember seeing a trailer for something (a tv show maybe?) that used the song βrun from meβ. I think at some point, the song has interference. I googled and everything that showed up was not was I was thinking of: OITNB, Wild Wild Country, The Blacklist...
Itβs driving me nuts. I need to know how what trailer used this song.

Background
Timber Timbre are a Canadian band that features singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Taylor Kirk, keyboardist Mathieu Charbonneau, guitarist Simon Trottier, and drummer Olivier Fairfield. Taking inspiration for the project's name from a cabin in Ontario where Kirk recorded some of his first songs, Timber Timbre self-released two albumsβ2006's Cedar Shakes and the following year's Medicinalsβ before signing to the Canadian Arts & Crafts label. The label released Timber Timbre's self-titled album, which made the Polaris Prize long list, in 2009. After touring in 2010 with artists such as JΓ³nsi and the Low Anthem, Timber Timbre returned with their fourth album, Creep on Creepin' On, in early 2011; it was shortlisted for that year's Polaris Prize. In 2013, they returned to the studio to create 2014's Hot Dreams, which included vintage soul and country influences. The trio went out to Paris for 2017's Sincerely, Future Pollution, which combined '80s sounds with an appraisal of the state of the world in the late 2010s.
Review
>Pretty much everywhere, itβs gonna be hot.
Timber Timbre are a weird weird weird weird weird weird weird band. At first I thought that was overselling them too. But take the time to listen to them, fully immerse yourself in their sound, drown your mind out with their befuddingly hypnotic style, and the strangeness hidden within soon reveals itself. As my country of residence has just come off a recent scorching heatwave, Hot Dreams feels like the soundtrack to a world on fire, the apocalyptic rising temperatures, the dryness, the sweat, the thirst, the blazing sun burning your skin. A lot of su

What other artists/song have that?
I've been following Timber Timbre's music for quite some time now, but have found it hard to get a substitute for their sound. There is a certain mellow, yet "evil" sound to a lot of there work, which I find especially present in their album Hot Dreams. There is something about the gritty, spaghetti western/country sound that I really enjoy; while there are others who do this, they are often too in-your-face or lack subtlety. One of the few songs that aren't made by Timber Timbre that has a similar vibe to them (that I've heard) is Eddie Noack's "Psycho," being just minimalistic enough to have the right vibe. I'm sure that there is plenty more music like this but I just haven't found it yet.
Any suggestions are welcome and I thank you in advance.
Iβm looking for eerie folk and witchy vibes. Relaxing and chill yet letβs your mind wander.
