A list of puns related to "Thuggin' Under The Influence"
Links I found on YouTube didn't work. I found the playlist, but all videos weren't able to play.
This question has been troubling me to a certain extent, as I've experienced this personally.
For example, let's suppose that you believe in free will, that democracy is good, that you're generally a good person, and that you're not in love with your best friend. And that you believe that you're well-reasoned and well-founded in these beliefs whilst sober.
Then you consume a substance that alters your perception, and it's painfully obvious in this state of altered perception that, in fact, that there is no free will, that democracy is bad, that you're generally not a good person, and that you are in love with your best friend. And all of these seem to make completely sense while in that state of mind, until the substances leave your system.
It's quite difficult to transfer over the difference in cognition and intuition that you had in an altered state, but you distinctly recall having fundamentally different beliefs than you do when you are sober. This may create doubt that your ordinary beliefs are what you genuinely believe.
How can we determine which of our beliefs are genuine, across these different states of cognition? Are drug-altered states not our "true selves", and should we prioritize our ordinary, sober perception of things to determine what we genuinely believe?
Thank you.
That's a DUI and will get you in big trouble in many parts of the world even where weed is legal. I don't think r/trees should allow posts like that. What is your opinion? Idk how to petition for a new rule but I would if I could
Edit: I didn't notice that rule 8 mentions this, I didn't click on the drop down menu. Also the people harassing me in DMs (and comments on other threads) really have their priorities straight...
Therefore, drug testing shouldn't be legal until it can determine the exact time your were using the drug.
Also, most drugs should be decriminalized. State I live in already decriminalized all possession size amounts of drugs. Has to start somewhere.
11k people on that subreddit obsessed and no one can explain this ?
I've noticed people playing drunk or high since I started, way back in the 90s, and it seems to be growing more prevalent as time goes on. People playing impaired really isn't safe for anyone; so why do people do it?
Does anyone else have the trauma of being forced to ride in a vehicle when you know the driver has been drinking? The anxiety of being totally out of control and wondering if you're gonna die. It's not my worst trauma, but one of many little ones.
Wanted to recommend this podcast that takes a deep dive into influencer culture and specifically mom-influencers. Highly enjoyed the series and the angle the host took.
I know we all understand how staged instamom content is but this was next level stuff. Really helps to remember that what we see is not real! And that I should never use them as a benchmark.
ETA the podcast is called βUnder the Influence with Jo piazzaβ
A bong hit wonder.
I have been talking to others recently about this and have really found myself feeling this way more recently as i get deeper in my dependence.
Whether that be drugs, alcohol, or a mix, how would you handle being told hurtful things about yourself? Why, or why wouldnβt you, forgive them? How would you handle your situation?
Real quick edit: this is a hypothetical question. Not something that happened to me
This includes any substance. Just wanna know what your high/drank ass made that slapped.
Just saying it's not a great comparison, at least in my experience.
Does it taste different? Can they get simmillar effekts of something of the drugs? Is blood of someone who drank coffee like an energy-drink?
If some of this can't be explained by lore, feel free to share your (serious and funny) theories.
