I've been trying for months now to get the achievement (I'm bad at the game), but I always have different issues. My most successful game, I played as Djerid, claimed most of the Berber coast, a lot of western Africa and was basically using raiding to fund everything. Problem is, I fell really far behind in tech, made even worse with constant bad rulers, and not only can I not take on Portugal or Spain even with Ottoman help, but I ended this game after getting attacked by Portugal and the Ottomans joined, but were in another war in central Asia, and by the time they were done, I was fully occupied, went into bankruptcy twice, and got 20 war exhaustion and had to peace out for most of my good provinces in the Berber coast. I've started again, and plan to save scum to prevent the Iberian Wedding, but even then, Idk how easy or hard it would be. I've attempted to look up guides but no one has made any. Any advice would be very very much appreciated.

I very recently got into these three bands and they seem like just the kind of stuff I’m ‘into’ at the moment. I’m kind of dumb when it comes to genres of music so I’m not really sure what similar stuff I want but if you know any bands that make similar music to this or just have music that I might like based on it then please let me know...thanks!
So this is a thing now, found the band fairly recently but didn't find a subreddit for it, so I made one...
So I'm sitting waiting on my therapist and a heavy set African American girl was chilling listening to music and I saw she had a ruby shirt on and then she showed me her g59 tattoo.
I just thought it was kind of funny two $B fans met in a therapists office. Kinda summarizes the fan base lol.

Well, here it is been playing this campaign for a week and a half now.
Started as Mzab to try and get Unlikely Candidate, Third Way, and Al Ir-Islam Achievements. I already know what went wrong in the campaign, I was too passive in the early game and messed up truce timers, I have a big coalition but it won't fire due to my ally France and my size.
I did the Florryworry strat going into morocco then Andalusia, but even then I did it way slower and less aggressive. I'd also like to mention I'm a speed 5 demon, so yea there's a lot of errors I overlook. Even then I think I'll try and go to 1821 another time. And will try and get the Third-way achievement with Oman into Mughals. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

This was certainly my most fun campaign.
I would definitely recommend this campaign to intermediate/advanced players. You have a mid game and an end game goal (Unlikely candidate as mid game, Third way as end game), combined with a real mid game difficulty (defeating the Iberians who are very likely to form a huge hugbox). This was done on normal difficulty.
For those who might not know Mzab is one of the only three Ibadi countries on the map. It is a Berber landlocked two province minor with only its capital as Ibadi.
Opening was very similar with what I found in other posts:
- Declare on Touggourt on December 11th with your theocracy mechanic, they are usually allied to Fezzan so vassalize Fezzan. They are sometimes allied to Tlemcen in which case you might want to restart. Meanwhile you should royal marry with Morocco on November 11th and improve relations with them during the war. On normal mode you will eventually get an alliance. You should also spy on Djerid in case they might be free for annexation at the end of your war.
- Unite as much of the Maghreb as possible before the Iberians come knocking at the door. As you can see, they were extremely aggressive in my game. Portugal took all of Morocco and Castile took two provinces in Tlemcen. Besides, colonization will make them stronger and stronger.
Major difficulties in the early game will be:
- Religion. Try to rush through religious ideas as quickly as you can. I took ADM focus right at the start. Take for yourself only a few sunni provinces, leave the rest to vassals (good candidates are Tlemcen, Algiers or Tripoli). Those you take should be assigned to a loyal clergy estate.
- Economy. This is tightly linked to the religious issue. You should not raise autonomy in recently conquered Sunni lands since you cannot afford converting high autonomy provinces (and you will need the income and the manpower to grow stronger). Do your best to fight economically separatists who will often be larger than your force limit. Take a coastal province as soon as you can, Tunis has an Ibadi coastal province which should be a high priority. You can go into debt a bit since Tunis can give you a lot of money. Loans are also worthwhile for building lightships. Your land is real shit so raiding provinces and privateering in Venice will be your main source of income duri
