A list of puns related to "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2"
I read somewhere that many Region B Arrow titles played in Region A players. Going region free is not an option atm.
I currently have a Samsung C5500 (And a ps3 & 4) FWIW.
Mainly due to Dennis Hopper.
Has anyone seen this? I held off for years because this movie is slammed in many reviews - a big mistake. It's like the most violent soap opera I've ever seen!
While both Suspiria and Inferno work because of the creepy subdued tension and mystery building into some great climaxes, Mother of Tears is nothing like that. It does away with tension and turns things up to 11 every time!
It contains eyes being burst, heads being crushed, arms being chopped off, throats being slit, spear impaling, disembowelling and intestine strangling - all gloriously practical and all fucking insane! There's also a lot of nudity, this is very much a pure exploitation film.
The plot is total nonsense, paper thin and ridiculous throughout. The acting is over-the-top and dead-pan, adding to the overall cheesiness and inanity. The score is all Ave Santani-style grandiose doom and gloom. CGI is also used to great effect - completely absurd in places and contrasting greatly with all the practical mayhem.
I've heard that this movie was supposed to be serious in tone, but honestly I don't buy it. Any movie where (minor spoilers) >!an insane monkey gets crushed by a falling rock!< I don't think is taking itself seriously at all!
Do yourself a favour and watch it, it's pure exploitative carnage and (IMO) knowingly cheesy and hilarious. If you have seen it let me know what you thought!
Found this on the Lost Media Wiki!!! Does anyone have any recollection of this?
Saw the original, loved it. Part 2 is showing at the local draft house and I wanna know if it compares. Worried more about wasting time rather than money, tickets are only 6 bucks.
Ok...So what the hell.
I knew this movie existed but I had NO idea it existed in this state. I didn't NOT like it...however, I was left not knowing what to actually think. Frankly, it was hilarious. I love the cooky characters and the rediculous situation the main character puts herself in. Plus, **SPOILER**
Dennis Hopper in an epic chainsaw battle with Leatherface? I was not expecting that.
All in all, I was pleasently surprised. 10/10 would sit thorugh this maybe one more time.
Thoughts on the slasher comedy sequel to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre?
While itβs veeeery different to the first one, I feel like this one gets a bad rep in spite of how much it has going for it. Awesome gore, a coked our Dennis Hopper going mental and Bill motherfucking Moseley. Anyone else love this movie?

Hey all,
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I was hoping to find a subreddit about the movies but I seem to be struggling to find it, so I'm hoping this subreddit can help. If there is a better subreddit to post this to, though, please let me know and I will happily move this post.
Obviously, this will be a spoiler for the ending of TCM2.
At the end of the film, Stretch is on top of the reenactment set pieces and has just stolen a chainsaw from Great-Grandma Sawyer. She cuts and slashes at Chop-Top, causing him to fall off the edge, presumably to his death. Stretch dances around like Leatherface does at the end of the first film, and eventually she stops and just sort of holds the chainsaw up in the air. Behind her and between her legs, however, you can see a large white figure rise up rather quickly, and then the film ends.
When I first watched this, I immediately thought that Great-Grandma Sawyer had just stood up behind Stretch because Stretch had stolen her chainsaw and presumably killed her kin, and the movie ended to sort of end on a cliffhanger, like "Oh no, Grandma was actually alive! What will happen next?" I thought this was incredibly cool and I loved that they did this so subtly, as there are no cues or musical cues to accompany this.
However, when I went to read about the movie (to help with comprehension and pick up on small details I missed), I noticed that *nothing* mentioned Great-Grandma Sawyer standing up, or even being alive. I even read her wikipedia character summary and her page on the TCM wikia, and both mentioned that she'd been dead for years and was of no significance. I looked up the endings on YouTube and again, it seemed like no one was mentioning the great grandma. If someone did mention her, it wasn't normally a very highly rated comment, so it didn't seem like most people agreed with it or saw it.
My question is, does anyone know for sure what was happening in the ending? Was that Great-Grandma standing up? Was it smoke? Was it something else entirely? A comment suggested it was a camera-man, but that doesn't seem likely to me. I'm fine if it wasn't her, but it's driving me crazy that *something* had to have happened that no one seems to be commenting on. Thanks for reading, and again please let me know if this would be better posted somewhere else.
