A list of puns related to "The Runner"
So I came across this bullish post (huge shoutout to u/Expensive-Two-8128) where the video shows an easter egg at a score of 42,069.
Then i remembered I had saved the html code of the runner game a few times:
https://preview.redd.it/gn8l5b4b5i881.png?width=598&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f7e2987e0e5afdcc01573d005c5a510e4d24e4a
I compared the old and the new code and found these differences:

When I saved the html code I would have never thought they would ever literally change the game, but they did! Here is the code from the index.js file:
https://preview.redd.it/hfd8qd2t6i881.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=4f3b1eb1419560ffe04c07d04a947607baccfd4e
When in doubt, you can check yourself; other apes and myself have archived https://nft.gamestop.com [1] and https://nft.gamestop.com/index.js [2] several times the last months.
edit: For those who don't understand: The code of the runners game was changed, they have added the shown code so that starting at a score of 42,069, there is a hue shift, the runners speed is lowered and the gravity is set on 0.1, as seen on u/Expensive-Two-8128's video.
Happy Wednesday my dudes!
I understand that Mac Jones, Jaylen Waddle, Kyle Pitts and Ja'Marr Chase are getting a lot of good stats and it is usually a QB award, but Creed Humphrey has been the best offensive player hands down this year if you look at PFF.
His 92.2 grade is so far ahead of Mac Jones it isn't funny (78.9 for Mac after week 16). If you look at top centers in the league, he's the number 1 center. Not just rookie, but all centers
Micah Parson, who by all accounts is having one of the best years EVER by a rookie, is at 84.8. Which is still almost 8 points behind Humphrey.
I'm using PFF because it is the best I can do to compare across positions, but some traditional stats help him as well. He's played almost every snap of every game at a spot that is important to have consistency. He's had only 5 penalties called against him all year, all holding. Of the 1045 snaps he's played, he's allowed 1 sack. He has been an elite player.

> I suggested to Karl-Anthony Towns that Anthony Edwards thinks he's the best shooter on the team. > > KAT: "Ant thinks heβs the best baseball player, football player, skier, curler, walker, runner." > > Ant: βAnything with a player behind it, Iβm the best in the world.β
>Anthony Edwards: "They saw me 2,000, Iβm like, βMan, KAT got 10,000 points, thatβs his game ball. No question.β Thatβs big. And heβs 7 feet, the best shooting big man of all time. Heβs great. Heβs the best. Heβs the best big Iβve ever played with in my life, for sure."
We discuss the best runner ups all the time, like Boston Rob, Stephan, and Dom. Which runner ups played terribly and actively hurt their chances of winning despite possibly receiving votes at the end?
Have been trying to find a new winter running jacket, and all of the ones that I like (weight/material/look/etc.) have extra fabric attached to the arms where you're supposed to put your hands and fingers through. I don't find this comfortable and prefer just wearing gloves, and my friends who run share this preference. But jackets with hand slots are everywhere, so somebody must like them. Right?
(also, if you have a recommendation for winter running jackets that are good for ~10k-20k runs in up to -10c, please let me know!)
For starters the two had amazing chemistry on screen and they seemed to "Get" each other. Your thoughts?
####Itβs that time of the yearβ¦.New Years Resolutions
For all you new runners looking to get healthy:
Welcome! This community can answer your questions.
Here's the section in the FAQ for beginners (which can also apply to returning runners).
The two biggest pieces of advice that you will find here is to try Couch to 5k if you've never run before and to be sure you don't try to run each time as fast as you can.
This resource is linked in the sidebar/top menu and may have some info you can use as you get started (or back into) running to give a guide on building mileage.
Take some time to the search the sub and browse the daily Official Q&A thread and you will find plenty of tips for getting started.
This post gives an overview on the rules as well as a list and description of the subs recoccuring threads.
This megathread is our yearly post on tips/gear for winter running.
In addition, feel free to ask any questions here that you might have about getting started. No stupid questions here...ask away.
For you current runners:
Itβs the end of the old year and a new one coming up.
Did you achieve your goals/resolutions this past year?
What goals or resolutions do you have planned for 2022?
And to help out the new runners coming, what advice do you have to offer a runner just starting out?
Let me be very clear, I am not shitting on Nick, Nick is a excellent player in his own right and played an incredible game.
Mike White displayed a great amount of control throughout the entire post merge really but especially after the final Final 9. Everything went the way he wanted it to, and he spearheaded a lot of those votes. Only got his name written down once and didnβt need idols and only won one immunity. All while being in a lot of players ideal final 3s (Alec, Nick, Alison, Angelina all wanted him there). This is all while competing against the strongest cast of newbies ever in my opinion. Christian, who is a strategy nerd was mind blown by what Mike did in the game and voted for him at FTC.

BRI SPRINGS!!!!
The final vote was absurdly close: With over 1,700 votes cast, Jason finished with 51.3% of the voteΒ β aka exactly 40 votes separated him and Bri.
I never watched Matt's season (but now clearly need to) so cannot actually say concrete things about her here, but yay Bri!
Jason comes in second after seeming like the major favorite to win early on. Shoutout to him for achieving the rare Bachelor Nation feat of maintaining both an active presence and good standing with fans years after the show β and for being an all around quality guy & supportive partner.
Hereβs the link to the results from the Final Round.
And hereβs a full spreadsheet of the complete vote totals / rankings from each round.
And here's the full elimination order photo.
Thanks to everyone for voting / following along every day!! Obviously thereβs limitations to the format β itβs more of a measurement of whoβs the least disliked more than the favorite. Greg and Tyler in particular wouldβve probably done much better β and someone like Hannah G. wouldβve likely done worse β if it was voting for faves/to keep people in the game.
But regardless, hope this was something fun to do for the break between seasons!
And here are some interesting things from the full game:
Figured a fun Xmas poll would be good (for me itβs Vlad Sr. I feel like heβs won me at least 15 games on walkoffs (including this morning))
Now that the Expanse, both show and novels, are coming to an end, I'd love it if we could get an AMA with Dan, Ty, and Naren (and hell any member of the cast willing to join.) We have a pretty great little subreddit, made all the greater by their involvement in our community. Dan is a pretty common presence here, Shohreh has posted here, and maybe others that I've missed or forgotten. It would be great if together we could have a little chat.
I promise not to ask about the future of the show. ^I'll ^ask ^about ^the ^movies ^instead.
This post was inspired by recent statements from Ted Cruz about his chances at nomination in 2024. Specifically, this comment here:
βThe runner-up is almost always the next nomineeβ
How true exactly is this? I took a look through the last seven decades to verify the success rates for second vs first place. Surprisingly, Cruz seems to have a point; but uniquely for Republican nominations.
On the flip side:
In my analysis, the vast majority of Republicans who received second place in the nomination went on to either become nominee 4-8 years later or ended up winning the election. On the other side, Democrats runner-up or election winners overwhelmingly had little experience running for president or h
