A list of puns related to "The Last Rites Of Jeff Myrtlebank"
Hello! Lurker, first time posting here on this board. I was curious as to if this episode was based off a true story - I can't seem to find much info through some google searching. The reason I ask is that, as I had been going through some old suitcases full of old newspapers and family photos, I found a newspaper clipping that pretty much described the plot of the episode - well, besides the having new powers and such. I am currently unable to post the clipping itself at the moment, but I can do this at a later time today as an update. Thanks in advance! :)
He is best known for starring in Gunsmoke and Dukes of Hazzards in the 1970s, but I prefer his performance in this TZ episode. His acting is phenomenal, and the visual aspects of the episode are more than worth checking out.

SORRY FOR LONG TEXTS BUT I THINK IT'S WORTH TO READ
So a bit of background: my (15M, Chinese) parents and I are both immigrants to Canada from China, we're atheists but we DON'T believe in communist Bs and that kind of stuff. I came to Canada at the age of 13 and now I'm 15, so that's just a bit more than 2 yrs. We spent our first year in the capital city of Ottawa, but a year after my family decided to move to a small town 4 000 km away from the capital (approx. 2500 mi for u yankees) due to my father's work. They've chosen to let me attend a christian school despite of being atheists because that school has the best rank in the region and they have smaller class so it would be a better learning environment.
Around late-feburary this year I've realised that I'm gay after researching LGBT issues (I'm a huge fan of politics) although thinking back I've been have feelings about boys since early grade 6. It wasn't very confucing at first since I've had researches before. But since a week or so after, I've begun to feel the PRIDE. I've heard this concept before but I didn't understand it until realising I'm gay-I'm proud because I support equality amongst a hateful environment and that I accepted myself without giving up.
I couldn't stop thinking about pride and coming out, my emotions were just overwhelming. But I didn't know whether I should come out to my parents as gay because I had no idea about what's there position on being gay. Two years ago my mom once asked me if I want to go see the pride parade (she didn't know I was gay back then), so that could've (potentially) meant that she had no moral objections about being gay. But besides from that they've never talked about lgbt issues, u know, it's just Asian parents and I guess they were too shy.
**I didn't remember why, but on the 29th of April I decided to come out to them the next day. The 30th was a Tuesday, so I went to school as usual. But before leaving, I told my mom that I'm gonna share something big with her after school. After getting back home, I walked into my room and wrote the character for "love" (as in the picture). I'm not religious but I kinda like the rituals. Then I called my mom in. I was so struggling to tell her that I sat next to her for 10 minutes without saying anything so I told her to leave me alone for 5 minutes. When she came back, I finally had the courage. I cried while saying "I love boys, not girls" (damn I wanted to say

So, to begin, how low does your health have to be for Last Rites to kill you? Many people may already know the answer to this, but I'll go through it for those who don't. Last Rites deals 50% of your missing health as damage. So in order to kill you, your current health must be less than or equal to half your missing health. Since missing health is simply 1 minus current health, we get:
(1 - current health)/2 = current health
1 - current health = 2*current health
1 = 3*current health
current health = 1/3
So Last Rites kills you if you are at 1/3 of your maximum health or less. Cool. Though that is assuming you don't have any pesky shields attached to your Health bar, which is where Iron Skin comes in. At level 1, Johanna has 2809 health, and Iron Skin's shield has 701 health, which is REALLY close to 1/4 of her maximum health. So close that we'll just call it 1/4 to make things easy. Now, in order for Last Rites to kill Johanna, it has to deal damage equal to her current health plus 1/4 of her max health. also, I'll start using "ch" to mean "current health". So we have:
(1 - ch)/2 = ch + 1/4
1 - ch = 2*ch + 1/2
1 - 1/2 = 3*ch
(1/2)/3 = ch
ch = 1/6
So with Iron Skin, you need Johanna to be all the way down to 1/6 or 16.67% of her max health to kill her with Last Rites. And finally, what about Hold Your Ground? Well, Hold Your Ground increases the Iron Skin shield by 60%, which raises it from 1/4 (25%) of Johanna's maximum health to 2/5 (40%) of her maximum health. That's pretty ridiculous. I'll skip a few steps in this final calculation since I think you've got the idea by this point. We now have:
1 - 2*2/5 = 3*ch
1/5 = 3*ch
ch = 1/15
In order to kill Johanna with Last Rites through Hold Your Ground, she must be at 1/15 or 6.67% of her maximum health or less!!! That means out of 2809 health, Johanna only needs 187 to survive Last Rites with Hold Your Ground. Out of 6000 health, she would only need 401. Is this a useful piece of information? Not really, hence the Fluff tag. We already knew this shield was monstrously big. But as a Johanna main, I think it's really cool. That said, I did use this fact once to make a Malthael waste his ultimate. I stepped out from behind a gate with very low health (10-15% or so) and purposefully got in range of Last Rites. Malthael, b

The child, a boy of about nine or ten, had come out from under the shelves. Although it was much too big for him, he had picked up Leclanβs lasrifle and was pointing it at Caffran and the priest.
βGet back, father,β Caffran breathed. He looked at the child and smiled encouragingly. βCome on, little man, give me that.β
The boy fired three shots, the weight and discharge staggering him. Then he threw the weapon aside and ran.
βCaffran? Caffran!β Zweil yelled. He bent down and cradled the Ghost in his arms. There was blood everywhere, pumping from a huge, messy wound in Caffranβs chest. βMedicae!β Zweil shouted. βMedicae!β
Caffran gasped.
βHold on, you hear me,β Zweil demanded, trying to support Caffran and staunch the bleeding at the same time. βYou hold on. Helpβs coming.β
Caffranβs eyelids fluttered. He looked up at Zweil for a moment. He tried to speak, but he couldnβt. His left hand clawed at the vest pocket of his battledress tunic, trying to unbutton it.
βMedicae! Medicae!β Zweil yelled over his shoulder. βSomeone!β
He looked back at Caffran. He swallowed hard as he saw the distant look in Caffranβs eyes, the receding light. As a priest in war, he had seen it before, too many times. Caffranβs bloody left hand still fumbled with the pocket fastening. Zweil reached over and undid the pocket for him, and took out what was inside. It was a Tanith cap badge. Caffranβs mouth tried to form words.
βI am an ayatani of the Holy Creed,β Zweil said softly. βBe calm now, my friend, for the God-Emperor of Mankind is rushing here to present you with the gift of peace you crave. Is there anything you wish to confess at this hour?β
Caffran didnβt respond. Zweil continued to hold him up, his hands and arms wet with Caffranβs blood.
βI hear and understand those sins as you have confessed them to me,β Zweil said, his voice hoarse, βand I absolve you of them, as I absolve you of all other sins you cannot enumerate. It is in my power to do this thing, for I am an ayatani of the Holy Creed. The winds have blown your sins away, and the beati has blessed you and, though there is pain, it will end, as all pain ends, and you will ascend without the pain of the mortal world to the place the God-Emperor of Mankind has set aside for you at the train of the Golden Throne of Terra. These last rites I give you freely and in good faithβ¦β
We have all played this story mission one time or another and many have used this to have a glimpse on weapon accuracy based on visual reticle changes due to stat mods and perks.
But in case you didn't know then just head into this mission and move along till you get to the corridor leading to the deathsingers/crota fight area, pull out your favorite weapon and have fun exploring the effects of perks and other stuff on them.
Thorn, Last Word, Zhallo, Hardlight, Thunderlord, First Curse all have their reticle behaving differently based on what perks you have selected. Its a fun way to pass time if you dont have much to do in the game and you will be amazed on how some scopes drastically change the accuracy of your weapon.
Try it out, let me know any cool stuff you discover if any. As always thank you for reading and watching the video.

D'Antoni understands that concept all too well. He still has his job, but he is in the final year of his deal after the Rockets offered him only a partially guaranteed extension. In addition, Daryl Morey would not allow him to bring back a number of his assistant coaches, including defensive wizard Jeff Bzdelik, whom the team begged to come out of retirement last winter as the team faltered.
"Jeff is not only a great coach, he's a great friend and I would have loved to have him back," says D'Antoni. "When [front offices] want to make changes, they're going to make changes, whether I like it or not. You get upset for a while. It's hard personally, because you think to yourself, 'Did I contribute to this? Was there something I could have done?'"
D'Antoni has been indirectly impacted by the flurry of free agents. Once George forced his way off the Thunder, OKC decided to trade Russell Westbrook, who landed in Houston in exchange for Chris Paul, one of many Rockets players who endured summer trade rumors.
"I keep in contact with the players all the time," D'Antoni says. "We're in the same boat. They could be gone, I could be gone, they could get traded, I could get fired.
