Tenth or Eleventh dynasty for forming Egypt?

I played as the more northern Tenth dynasty, and faced much larger armies directly north of me. I restarted, as I failed miserably at one point. But should I play as the Tenth dynasty again, or is Waset much more fun? Or am I playing these two countries wrong? Should I try Kush, instead?

Love that I can sail up and down the Nile, though. And when I do form Egypt, should I extend into Libya, the Middle East and Sinai, or Minoa?
