A list of puns related to "Tennis Player Name"
Could name their kids Flipmode and Squad, theyβd probably be really good at tennis and maybe rapping too.
I've been getting some of his videos in my recommended lately and he looks like such a badass can someone tell me his name so I could watch more of his videos?
Edit: guys I found him, his name is Mansour Bahrami
As above!
Can be any shot, serve, volley etc. Choose one shot per player. Post in the comments.
I wonder what Bouchard is doing these day. Is there a record of successful player who has changed his racket brand? Many say that Nadal used to play from Wilson (which doesn't smell true).. is it true?
How many times have you watched an upset match and gotten incredibly hyped up in large part because an amateur was about to beat MC or MVP? I think there is an almost unique feeling of just pure excitement and ecstasy which we've all felt watching this game.
A lot of the excitement that we all feel when we watch exciting matches is understanding the context of the match within the larger competitive scene, which is one reason why it's more difficult for new viewers to get excited about matches in the same way. If you're new to watching tennis and you see Federer losing to an unranked player, you immediately have a lot of context for the match because Federer has a #1 next to his name, and you understand part of why the match is exciting. Not having this in Starcraft is one of the biggest stumbling block for new viewers, in my opinion.
The biggest obstacle to this happening is the fact that we don't have a World Ranking system we all agree on, unlike tennis. However, there are a few promising starts that would work with some tweaks if tournaments picked them up, like this one: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=358765
EDIT: I just wanted to say, if anyone who runs tournaments is interested in making this happen I would be happy to help in any way.
Not sure if it fits the purpose of this sub, but really wanted to watch it again and couldn't find it anywhere on the Internet.
One of the players even sitted on the field at one point as it lasted forquite some time. I think it was during Roland Garros and during the 70's. Maybe someone more knowledgeable in tennis knows about it ?
I've heard he won a few things.
