A list of puns related to "Tax Expenditures"
Basically the title. I work completely remote and have been for almost two years. It just occurred to me this could be an option.
if your a person who opposes dark money in politics you should oppose proposals to remove the johnson amendment as removing the johnson amendment would make the dark money issue worse
the vast majority of christian denominations oppose removing the johnson amenment because they have no desire for thier churches to be converted into political action commities or super pacs
religious groups alredy have the unique ability to have untraceable spending as they are exempt from filing 990s where as the vast majority of 501c3s and every other 501c group has to file 990s
because of Citizens United v. FEC if 501c3 are allowed to endorse political canadates they would be able to create houses of worship that have nothing to do with legitimate religious activity and because houses of worship are exempt from disclosure laws that would make money in politics completely untraceable
the vast majority of 501c3 groups also support the Johnson amendment
the vast majority of pastors support the Johnson amendment
I am not sure how to do it. But yesterday I had a 3 hour block for $73. I spent 34 on gas and took all 3 hours. and spent 5 on refreshments because i forgot to get them at home lol. so overall i made 33. but i have gas for more blocks and they all pay the same. any tips to keep track?
Federal Income Tax Expenditures (3rd quintile)
This BLS data seems extremely odd. It shows that the middle quintile for personal federal income tax expenditure was just $54 in 2010, but $2519 in 2019.
It's hard to imagine that there was a difference in the tax code post 2012 which changed federal taxes so significantly. Judging by the lowest quintile, that group receives a net credit of $200, which has been fairly consistent by comparison.
What's even more perplexing is the highest quintile. Federal taxes there seem to have jumped for $7000 in 2012, to $35,000 in 2019.
These numbers seem really nonsensical. Did the highest quintile really pay 5x more in net federal taxes compared to 7 years ago?
hello,
anyone know?
I have a vague idea bit not 100% certain.
From what i understand (and i'll use a fictitious example here):
Farmer buys a trailer for Β£20,000
Β£20,000 is deducted from tax liability
Capital allowance is also allowed and spread over 5 years, so, for the next 5 years, taxable amount is reduced by Β£4,000/year (or all claimed within year one, so Β£40,000 is written off)
idk if i'm completely confused so would appreciate some light shed on the matter, ta.

This bill was referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means which will consider it before sending it to the House floor for consideration.
An educated voting populace tends to be more independent thinking and evaluating information. This is incredibly important to ensuring a functioning government is formed and avoiding falling into pit traps where basic facts are straight ignored (like the existence of the 2nd amendment or the electoral college, climate change, and etc.)
Maybe the government or some 3rd party non profit partners with Khan Academy to organize the small short videos, articles, and materials that Americans can use to prepare for theses assessments, and Americans would be encouraged to take this assessments of their own free will.
People who are in a position where $100-200 makes a significant difference are likely the people that need this assessment and the learnings that come with it the most.
Edit: Added climate change. And also I donβt understand why people see this as replacement of school. This is not a replacement of public school.
This is a way to incentivize adults to maintain basic knowledge competency. Something thatβs extremely valuable with how fast misinformation and disinformation flows. This about preventatively giving people the knowledge to understand what it means when a politician says something about the trade deficit or about defunding planned parenthood (about how abortion services are 3% of its activities and about how the Hyde amendment prevents any federal tax dollars from being used on abortions.
Thereβs just a lot of people who really have no real understanding of many the concepts behind the major issues of the day or are terrible savers/investors. These people canβt go back to school but they can take a test 1/year pass it and get some cash for their time.
Trying to wrap head around this but not able to understand... thanks!
