A list of puns related to "Takoma Station"

Hello Friends,
I have a standard flat type indoor antenna that gets decent reception from the Washington DC stations, but I'm interested in upgrading to something that can pick up some Baltimore stations from 35 miles northeast of me (VHF channels in particular) if there's any affordable options to do so. I live on a bit of hill that probably has an impact on my ability to more clearly pick up these channels, though I'm not sure how much. I have an attic to put an antenna in, and I could also stick it up on my roof if necessary.
Could anyone make some recommendations of what type of equipment might help me reach this goal?
Here's a couple analyses of signal strength -

I came home from Union Station about 5pm and the train was more packed than normal. Starting at Rhode Island Avenue the train operator announced that train wasn't stopping at Takoma in order to get back on schedule. Everyone that wanted to get off there was asked to get out and take the train that was two minutes back.
Has this ever happened to you before? It was a first for me and I commute the Red Line every day, but usually a bit earlier than 5pm. It was actually good for me because I get off at Silver Spring and the train got a lot less crowded, but it was strange.
Hi Iβm looking to start a radio show on the new radio station 94.3 WOWD. My plan right now is movie soundtracks/ musicals which would entail discussing the context of the film and playing some key songs from the movie.
A little about me, Iβm a 22 year old filmmaker and film nerd. I wrote film reviews for about a year and won the Fox 5 30 second movie review contest. But I have other interests, artistic and otherwise, that could be explored if anyoneβs interested.
The radio station is looking for new shows and are really flexible and open for people who have never been on radio before (such as myself), but just want to try it out. Thereβs an application and such that we have to fill out, but after that it can be as soon as a couple weeks before weβre on the air!
PM me and we can discuss.
For me: 98 Rock.
In the previous post, we considered the possibility that far from changing the story midway, or the writers being really bad, we have been very cleverly misled, in a house of mirrors, where two young women are made to become one by virtue of sharing a name. That two identical twins, or very similar looking characters became "Katarina Rostova", thus, like a far more elaborate Edgar Legate, "Katarina Rostova" becomes a myth, an illusion, a figment, because it is inhabited by two characters.
But who is who? IF Lotte Verbeek is portraying both of them, how do we distinguish between them?
The solution might be what is called "mirror twins", in which one identical twin is left handed, while the other is right handed, a solution used in traditional mystery genre, as seen in Agatha Christie's "At Bertram's Hotel", where Jack and Joel Britton are mirror twins, one right handed, the other left handed, the key to solving the robberies.
A puzzling choice if not, for why would Ms. Verbeek sometimes use her dominant hand, the left hand, but sometimes she would use the right hand?

More so, while Katarina was introduced in Cape May, it was a special request of the Network. An episode written and filmed after The Artax Network, even if it was aired before, propelling Red to visit Dom, by virtue of finding the locket. But for that, she would have been introduced as a memory in Mato (2.02), when Liz ignores the photo of her mother as a redhead, but sees the blond in the swing photo, and then remembers a moment with her mother, a redhead, burying a time capsule with Liz, reaching out for what Liz is bringing for the capsule with her left hand, then hallucinates or remembers her mother writing in a diary, the one she found in the FBI office. Thus, we have a highlighted moment in which Katarina clearly uses her left hand.

But is Rassvet that CLEARLY brings the left dominance to the neon arrow moment, when unnecessarily, we have another highlight moment of Katarina filling a form, **writing with her left. A gratuitous moment that only showed her being left hand do

Here is a list of all the *holiday* events I could find in the city. I called a lot of places before they've posted links, but I will update this post with links once I get them & add more events once I hear about them (i.e. holiday movies, pet portraits with Santa, etc).
Thanks to u/a-username-for-me , u/SilverTanager, u/seidinove, u/jaybeas, u/RallyPigeon, and u/20CAS17 for other options
Welcome to those of you who venture into this (cough) subreddit to discuss the show. You will likely be greeted by those sponsoring the Rederina theory, the mother theory, or as they call it now the R-=K theory.
I used to post here a lot, but the place became a jungle of incivility, complete with people who assume, without being able to prove it, that they are right, and proceed, on the bases of that assumption to abuse others. Just like a religious war, full of circular reasoning too.
No worries dearies, I just popped back in for crumpets and tea, just kindly leave the arsenic in the jar, I'll be gone again, no real desire of staying for lunch.
We will begin by exploring a somewhat popular idea among the believers of Rederina that the mysterious ending Bokenkamp wanted was always Rederina, but that the evil network did not consent to a full reveal.
Our first question is, was Rederina always the end game, as some suggest it was?
Let's do an eagle's pass over the things in the first three seasons to see if Rederina as the endgame from the beginning is a thought or just a brain fart:
SEASON 1
Red kills Diane Fowler after telling her he wants to know what happened to his family more than anything more in the world.
>FOWLER: I know the truth, Red about that night, about what happened to your family*. Do you want to know the truth?*
>
>RED: More than anything in the world*. But if you know the truth, Diane, then somebody else does, too*.

Except that Red knows where Katarina's family is: Dom is upstate NY, where Rederina keeps the island box. Lena in Chicago, in the same identity she was given in 1991. Easy deal to find her. Liz is right there. Constantin changed his name and is a billionaire still pinning for Katarina and Masha. Dear Ilya is a call away, and dearest Eastern Friend is too. Even dearie Kate is right there. See, there is no family Rederina wishes he knew about. There is Red's family, though.
Red blows up the Takoma Park house after telling Luli he raised his family there, and remembering the girl playing with bubbles. And then Nachalo would show photos of Jennifer and a dark haired woman in THAT SAME HOUSE.

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"

Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments

Lawmakers in Prince George's County, Maryland, unanimously approved a zoning plan Monday that could entice more development to Langley Park.
Immigrant advocacy organization CASA de Maryland campaigned against aspects of the plan β called the Countywide Sectional Map Amendment β saying that it could increase gentrification pressure near a future Purple Line station in Takoma/Langley Crossroads. The area is home to thousands of low-income immigrants from Central America.
"CASA is deeply disappointed that the Prince George's County Council approved a roadmap charting significant gentrification in Langley Park," said Gustavo Torres, CASA's executive director, in a statement. "Our voices weren't heard though we raised every alarm to protect the community. The immigrants and low-income families who call Langley Park home will be pushed out by developers and their luxury apartments if we don't immediately change course and have a zoning process that values community voices over those of developers."
The new regulations overhaul Prince George's County's decades-old zoning rules, which shape how the locality's land can be used and developed in the future. Planners say the old code was confusing and not aligned with current development standards, and changes were needed to prepare the county for the Purple Line light rail project. Two Purple Line stations are planned for the Langley Park area.
The new zoning map applies to the entire county, but changes to land use in Langley Park, in particular, drew criticism from residents who testified against the plan in public hearings. Langley Park is 84% Latino or Hispanic, according to American Community Survey estimates, and a 2019 report commissioned by CASA says it has one of the largest concentrations of undocumented Latino immigrants in Prince George's.
*Under the newly approved zoning rules, land that's currently home to midrise garden apartments in Langley Park could be rebuilt at a higher density, making the existing housing more attractive for redevelopment. The map

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
In Rassvet, we were treated to scenes that took place in a motel. In it. Ilya had been contacted by Katarina while working at the Russian Embassy in DC. He had been sent a crossword, which he decrypted to a meeting at "30 Street Station" at 5. When he showed up there, he got a briefcase with keys to a motel. Upon showing up at the motel, he found Katarina, who said hello by putting a gun to his head, until he corroborated he was alone and had not been followed.
https://preview.redd.it/7h8ikg5hgno71.png?width=1174&format=png&auto=webp&s=ff26f58fc4512761521f7a2e6b4884853ffb8c44
We are meant to believe this is Katarina, and is after the fake suicide. I did believe it was Katarina, until I noticed a very precise choice. Sometimes Katarina would be left handed, and sometimes right handed.
We had Katarina, seen in the past, and Fakerina in present time. But what if Katarina and Fakerina had been twins, or women who looked alike enough to pass for each other. Raised one in America and one in Russia, as part of some intelligence operation, perhaps to get a sleeper inside the CIA or the KGB?
Lotte Verbeek would be playing both women in the 1980s and 1990s.
American Katarina is left handed, and Russian Katarina is right handed.

So, who would be the woman who meets him at the motel, with a gun to his head?
https://preview.redd.it/jl02uinbgno71.png?width=1275&format=png&auto=webp&s=ee540831e03e7fdc9e897549ec4aabd00bacd8c1
the right handed Katarina, Russian Katarina:
https://preview.redd.it/3kt6avylgno71.png?width=1160&format=png&auto=webp&s=8b2b943944930c4c4c2ecd623877bb604a195052
Someone might carry a gun on their non-dominant hand, but pointing it with intent to possibly use, would be dominant hand unless is an emergency use or be damned situation, which this is NOT.
So those scenes at the motel, the woman dressed in a plaid shirt, is Russian Katarina.'
Also a woman seen standing by a bag of cash:
