AS44- You abuse cocaine and the gas pedal on the Lamborghini Huracan you stole. Your logic is “more bullets in the air = higher chance of winning gunfight.” You keep telling yourself this is the Vanguard AK47 but it feels like the Captain Insano version.

Volk- You’re the Hannah Montana theme singing “best of both worlds.” You keep trying to make this an all-around gun that is top tier in all situations- you still haven’t found that perfect class setup. You will yell at anyone that this is the best gun in the game.

Automaton- You’d rather not with the bullshit and details. This is a point-click-die simulator as far as you’re concerned. You mained the Krig6 when it was the COD God and we all know it.

BAR- You’re an ARK transfer. You want to shoot dinosaurs down. Doesn’t matter that the human body is a feeble slab of flesh only 200 pounds or so, there’s something special about mowing herds of noobs with an elephant gun.

NZ-41- If you’re laying down on the trigger, you’re not comfortable. You’re the Jack in the Box. You pop in and out around the map basically brute-force bursting the enemy down. You just need the first 3-4 rounds- and that’s where this beast shines.

ITRA- A man of taste. A connoisseur of weaponry. You’re a burst weapon Stan and all of us know one thing- This is a far cry from a famas. It’s usable, and it actually slaps. They gave you a one-burst AR from anywhere on the map, and you’re surprising everyone with it.

Carbine, Cooper- ^meta ^slave? Nah. You like the hybrid aesthetic. You want to win everywhere on the map. You used the M13 in MW2019 and this is the stopping power upgrade you always wanted on that gun. You believe in stacking fire rate on fire rate. Oh, and you’re perpetually anxious. You know that nerf is coming.

STGG- You’ve been using Custom Class 1 since the Beta, or you’re super stoked the last weapon you unlocked in COD4 is a base gun now. You really dgaf what people think. They say terrible things about your mother because you can toast them from anywhere on the map. But they said the same things when you mained the M4A1 in Modern Warfare. It’s warm and comfy in the toaster.

Since Vanguard follows the same “Get X gun(s) gold in this weapon class”, you only need to get any seven Assault Rifles Gold in order to achieve Diamond for Assault Rifles – so you don’t need to do all of the base weapons, you can do any combination of base weapons and DLC weapons so long as you hit that required Gold count. Naturally this becomes much more flexible as Vanguard ages and adds more DLC weapons, but for now, we have the Cooper Carbine. As such, it is recommended that you pursue the following seven assault rifles for Diamond:

(1) STG44 (2) Automaton (3) Bar (4) AS44 (5) NZ-41 (6) Volkssturmgewehr (7) Cooper Carbine

The ITRA Burst is genuinely terrible and I do not recommend using it.

Section 1: The Cookie Cutter Loadout (Best AR Attachments Analysis)

This is the general set of best attachments that generally work for each Assault Rifle. Meaning, you can transplant this set of attachments onto any Assault Rifle and have a workable build, but some ARs can take certain liberties others cannot, while some ARs require more specialization than others.

I really just hate the redesign.

I think most of the people who play this game should know that the ARs currently available in this game have quad rails that allow mounting attachments on the top, left, right, and bottom of the rail. Right now, we only can mount a grip on the bottom, PEQ IR lasers on top or a flashlight on the left/right. It just doesn't make sense why the game doesn't give us the option to mount PEQ IR on top and flashlight on the side at the same time. I mean real operators (SWAT or special forces) mount both IR lasers and flashlights on their guns almost all the time in the modern days since NVGs are becoming a standard loadout for operators. For the sake of gameplay, it is also important to have the option to use NVG and IR lasers as well as the visible flashlight in certain conditions. I wish the dev can add this option as soon as possible.

Hi fellow agents, wondering if anyone else is using the FAL these days? Now that I'm level 40 I've come back to using it after picking up a God rolled one (Para version.). Previously at Max lvl 30 I'd played around with it alot but never really like the handling. I've noticed it's not a popular AR across the net, or just that people don't talk about it much. I'm really liking the handling, the look and especially the sound when firing.

I know for alot of you this is rehashing OLD stuff, but before anyone down votes or trashes me, plz remember that there are still new players such as myself enjoying the game for the first time & getting hooked very quickly ;) My short story (lol) continues....

Some history on the FAL for those who don't know:

The FAL (an acronym in French for Fusil Automatique Léger (translated in English: Light Automatic Rifle)) is a battle rifle designed by Belgian small arms designer Dieudonné Saive and manufactured by FN Herstal (or simply known as FN). Note that it's actually not an Assault Rifle but a 'Battle Rifle'. In real life this beast weighs anywhere from 3.7kg up to 6KG! It was designed to fire the intermediate 7.92×33mm Kurz cartridge developed and used by the forces of Germany during World War II with the Sturmgewehr 44 (StG44). The most notable conflicts in which the FN FAL was prominently featured were the Cuban Revolution, Vietnam War, the Rhodesian Bush War and the Falklands War, where both British & Argentinean forces faced each other with the same infantry weapon!

During the Vietnam War, the FN FAL (Aussie version was known as the L1A1) was the standard weapon issued to Australian infantrymen. Many Australian soldiers preferred the larger calibre weapon over the American M16 because they felt the SLR was more reliable & they could trust the NATO 7.62 round to kill an enemy soldier outright. Australian jungle warfare tactics used in Vietnam were informed by their experience in earlier jungle conflicts (e.g. the Malayan Emergency & Konfrontasi campaign in Borneo) & were considered far more threatening by their Viet Cong opponents than those employed by U.S. forces.  The Australians considered the strengths & limitations of the SLR & it's heavy ammunition load to be better suited to their tactical methodology.
