A list of puns related to "Sweden Democrats"
I have seen a few polls online and social.media making such claims. Is there any truth to it?

Sweden’s extraordinary wave of reforms in the 1970s, an era of explosive radicalism, reveal the achievements — and the limits — of social democracy.
Some see it as a step to far, a straw that turned the Swedish populace against the sOCIAL DEMOCRATS reformist policies , others see it as that missing link that almost transformed capitalism into a bonifide form of Democratic Socialism
WHAT SAY YOU?
Sweden in the 1970s was the most advanced welfare society that had ever existed. The social reforms implemented during that decade were perhaps the most extensive ever seen. Over a period of ten years, the public sector’s share of GNP grew by 50 percent and a series of reforms vastly strengthened the position of wage earners in the labor market. Most of the reforms now associated with the Swedish welfare state — ranging from the health insurance system and parents’ allowances to daycare for all and free abortion — were initiated or implemented during a few years in the early and mid-1970s, an era symbolized by the radical social-democratic prime minister Olof Palme.
It is impossible to overstate social democracy’s importance to Sweden’s evolution during the 1970s. The social-democratic party had more than one million members, in a country with eight million inhabitants. In the early 1970s, the party had been in power for forty years and held control of most of Sweden’s large cities. It had strong youth and women’s organizations. The trade union movement, in particular the blue-collar workers’ union LO, organized close to 90 percent of the workforce.
Rising dissatisfaction in the workplace among social democracy’s key voters was a growing problem for the party and the LO. One aspect of this was the debate on excessive corporate profits that raged in Sweden in the early 1970s. Another was the demand for economic democracy.
In response, LO decided to appoint a committee led by its chief economist, Rudolf Meidner. Few Swedish books have influenced the social debate more than the modest 120-page document that the committee published in the autumn of 1975. The basic thrust of the text was that every year, a portion of the profits of Sweden’s large and medium-sized companies — in
... keep reading on reddit ➡Well shit. I empathize with the Left Party as I agree with their sentiment that landlords or whoever it is should not be able to put whatever prize they want on rent on these new houses. I haven't kept track of the details and I'm also prone to forget things, but basically, what another person wrote about here the other day (about this very topic) is, I guess you could say happening right now. The furthest Left party siding with the furthest Right party because they don't like that the leading party, the Social Democrats isn't siding with them. To simplify things according to my understanding.
The result might be a new election. Fuck.
It feels annoying because in America the Right (Republicans) are fighting for lies and to take power from the Left (Democrats) and here in Sweden the leading party (Social Democrats) has to constantly balance things on this thin thread as to appease enough parties to have their back, keeping them in power. I am glad we don't have to go through what America does (you have my empathy, dear Americans) but it still sucks that we are so torn that the leading party can't even go through with all that they wish to because then they would lose the support of Right-wing parties and that places them in a minority. Because we have multiple parties per side it doesn't matter if the Social Democrats are the single largest psrty with the single most support. If other parties get together to bring down our current leaders they can, and that is what is more or less happening right now.
I have fear for what might happen should the Right take the spot as leaders in this country. I'm serious. They care more for privatization and that people should be able to earn profit on the market than making sure as many people as possible have it good. Not to say they ignore the well being of the populace since that isn't true. They do. But compared to the United States where it's pretty much Progressivism versus conservatism here in the Kingdom of Sweden it's moreso about the well being of the collective versus the rights of the individual.
New reports claim Sweden is one of the deadliest countries in Europe. Not only is it common for citizens to blow eachother up, Sweden now tops the charts for deadliest gun violence in Europe.

Sweden has a huge problem with bombs and hand grenades. Apparently, its common to hear an explosive blowing up a building during a day in Sweden. Unknowingly buy something from someone else's rival? Well, in Sweden, the repercussion might just be catching a live hand grenade.

>“Sweden has moved from close to the bottom of the European rankings [in terms of deadly violence per capita] to very high up. It is only Croatia which in the past four years [of available data across countries studied, 2014-2017] has a higher level of deadly shootings,” said Brå researcher Klara Hradilova Selin. Between 2000 and 2003, Sweden was 18th out of the 22 countries for deadly shootings per capita."
Sweden now has the 2nd worst deadly shootings per capita in all of Europe. In 2000 (before their large transition to socialism) they were one of the safest (18/22.)
>Brå also compared the proportion to other countries: around 60 percent of fatal shootings were linked to organised crime in the Netherlands, while in Finland such events were extremely rare.
Organized crime, the same thing that helped push the socialist USSR economy into turmoil. When people find out they can live better lives through illegal private businesses, that is what they do.

I’d love to hear the ladies talk about this 😌

I am a final-year undergraduate student in the UK. I am currently working on my dissertation answering the question: How do different Eurosceptic parties‘ views differ on European integration? Why?
Because I don‘t know any Swedish, it makes my research beyond academic papers in English on SD and other parties difficult. I came looking for help because of this. I am searching for statements from influential people from SD regarding European integration. For example, someone like Jimmie Akesson, and other high-ranking party elites, whose opinions can be considered reflective of SD' true stances. What do they think of it? This can be anything, I am not concentrating on some specific aspect of European integration. Financial integration, such as common budget, Euro membership. Or political, social aspects, like giving more power to the European Parliament, Commission, any other institution. Their opinion on freedom of movement. Opinions on EU membership as a whole are great too. It does not matter whether their views are on the current state of European integration or the possibility of increasing/lowering it.
The best would be if you linked their statements in Swedish, in a readable format, so I could Google translate them. Not knowing the language makes it more difficult to find such statements. Party elites‘ Twitter accounts, personal blogs, official statements issued by the party, or reputable news sources are all good for something like that. It would be best if these statements were from the last few years, as newer developments receive less attention in academic literature.
So, if you‘re interested in helping me out and got any time to spare, I would really appreciate it, even if it‘s just one tweet. In addition, no need to look for that specifically, but if you know of any academic literature or party statements in English that could well explain the origins of SD's views about European integration, I would appreciate it if you would let me know of that as well in case I miss anything doing research.
Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for all the help!
