A list of puns related to "Subaru Tribeca"
Background: I love my 2010 Subaru Tribeca - Its got the 3.6L H6 motor. I change the oil my self every 5k miles with full synthetic oil and OEM filters. Hasn't ever really had any issues and its about to roll 200k miles.
If you were to invest $1500-$2500 on maintenance at a mechanic, what would be your priorities to keep this car running nicely to 300k miles? I can do a lot myself but I go to mechanics for jobs that are time intensive/need special tools.
Thank you!
My only requirement for a vehicle is that it can do a 6 hour round trip when it's snowing in Minnesota winters. I bike year-round. Will rarely use it for commuting. But, when there is a good snow in northern Minnesota I want a vehicle I can drive to the snow in so that I can camp and ride my fatbike. I will also bring a dog.
There is a 2006 Subaru Tribeca for $4300. 130K miles. Not a sexy vehicle. But, if I get it checked out by a mechanic and nothing major needs to be done does this seem fair? I doubt I'll put more than 2K miles a year. I think of Subaru's as getting a lot of mileage.
I am completely open to other suggestions. Not set on Subaru. I looked at the Crosstrek but most of the prices are above what I'd like to spend. I'd rather buy another bike.
Thanks!
Hoping someone can help me out, or at least has a Haynes/Chilton's. I'm helping a friend with his Tribeca bank 1 Knock Sensor. But I've read that they are pretty particular about torque setting. Does anyone happen to know what it is? It's not my car and he's not particularly mechanical, so there's no point in buying a Haynes or Chilton's.
If anyone sees this vehicle around town or knows someone that recently got a free vehicle from their third cousins, sister's baby daddy on their uncles side of the family, please message me or contact the police department. Images attached.
