Because they already included it in the deal. He told me what to say, so I did. I printed him out the $500 voucher corporate sent me and now heβs saying itβs not the right voucher and is changing the deal. This would be my 4th Subaru and first time a salesman has asked me to do this. Anybody know which is the correct voucher and how to get it?
I purchased my first Subaru this past summer. I have had multiple issues which prompted corporate to get involved. The car is not a lemon, but everyone is in consensus I should be compensated in some fashion for my trouble. Here are the 3 options that were presented to me. Considering the chip shortage, I feel it is a hard decision. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

Based on online discussions Subaru owners did reveal that it takes them a lot of back and forth to get Subaru to take any action to look into chronic issues. I personally know friends who have problems with them.
My personal experience is that my car ran pretty well before I brought it to first service, however bringing it back the engine constantly show signs of running rich and new electrical issues occurred immediately, radio went silent shortly during the drive. However they keep saying everything is normal, they eventually got the radio online. But this severely tainted my satisfaction with Subaru.
I've come across a 2020 Subaru Outback Limited that is CPO with only 1,700 miles on the clock. It's currently for sale at a Subaru dealership in Northern CA. It's Carfax states that it was a "corporate fleet" vehicle and has a detailed history, including an oil service at 1,350 miles. I'm very interested in the car and the price is really great, especially for a used 2020 model, but I am very wary of any "gotchas". What should I be looking for or be cautious of? Or is this a lucky find? Any advice or insight is greatly appreciated!

Hey all, I know this is pretty random, but is anyone here in corporate and could possibly help or put me in contact with who I can speak to about helping a lady out?
Last night after close I took a call at my dealership from a nice lady named Debbie. The call went something like this.
"Yes, I saw that Subaru is feeding America. Are you giving away food?" - Debbie
"Well it's a Subaru program... but it's not something we specifically do here on premises." - Me
"Oh, well I just lost my husband, and I don't know what to do. My social security won't kick in for another few months and I need food." - D
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. Umm... Let me see what I can figure out, what's your name and number?"
::: She Gives me her contact and city about 30 minutes away from our location :::
"Ok, look, call back here tomorrow or Monday and I'm going to see what I can figure out."
There may have been a bit more, but I don't recall. I'm trying to see if we can pull the call up on Monday.
I googled her number, and it came up with a mans name with the same last name, in the city she said she was in. So this sounds pretty real.
So in the meantime I posted about it on Facebook about it and I'm up to $750 in donations for gift cards for a local grocery chain from family and friends.
But I just wanted to see if there's anyone here that could get me in contact with someone in corporate who may be able to help. The lady sounded very desperate, and it was a heartbreaking call. For her to call a car dealership asking for food... I mean... she has to be needing it pretty bad.

I bought a 2019 nissan altima new about 2.5 years ago so the factory warranty is still in effect. About a month ago I started to have radar issue (it disables itself) and brought it into the dealership expecting a factory swap. I have no after-market mods nor accident of any sorts. Today I was told that I need to pay out of pocket because the internal radar bracket has bent and the dealership wants to charge me $100 for bracket, $900 for labor, and $1000 for a new radar.
From my perspective, I have always followed the proper maintainces and drove as intended. Yet, the part just failed so it would make sense to have it covered under factory warranty. Talked to the manager and he claimed that some rocks probably went inside the car and happen to only hit the bracket to bent it up (~90 deg) so I will have to pay. Talked to the service advisor and he said he always replace the radar and mount together (what?) and I don't even know where to start with the $900 labor.
At the very least, if the bracket is somehow bent without any exterior damage, I would be ok with replacing the bracket (official part website listed it as $50) + labor for calibrating the radar. But asking me to pull 3k out of no where (no prior communication through this whole month) is not sitting very well with me and I feel like they are trying to pull a fast one on me. What could I do? I just want my car to work.
Update: Called the Nissan Corporate and got the region manager's number. She advised me to take it to anther dealership and reach back out to her if they still can't resolve the issue. Thanks again for all the helpful advice reddit!
Update2: Scheduled another dealer that has better review for tomorrow and we will see how their diagnostics go. Will do a final update on what i end up doing hopefully to serve as a data point for anyone that come across this sticky situation.
Update3: Hopefully this is the final update. Nissan region rep gave me her phone number and told me to try another dealership and then could never be reached again even during her work hours or right after she seemly "called" and left a voice mail. The second dealership also was a nightmare where the appointment is only a "right to be in the queue" and took my car for 4 days and said they can't reproduce the problem (despite me showing them pictures taken from several days and telling them exactly how to get it to show up). They said their technician needs to reproduce the error for factory warranty to ta
