I'm doing research on what we might call alternative pedagogies or non traditional pedagogies such as the ones in the title. Yet it's getting extremely confusing. Wikipedia is a mess on this subject.
Many of these seem to overlap with each other, whereas other seem to be categories of others, for example, I've seen project based learning referred to as a distinct pedagogy from inquiry based learning, a category of IBL and another word for enquiry based learning.
can anyone help me make sense of it all?

Superintendentβs January 7th newsletter says,
βConsideration of Extending Virtual Learning
We understand that some students and families will want to remain in a remote learning setting for additional days, and parents should contact their building principal to discuss possible next steps; as always, our teams will provide support to meet the needs of our students and families.β
Contacted our kidβs school and were told the only option is to sign up for the virtual learning program (A2+ Virtual Academy) for the WHOLE semester.
Would be interested in hearing from other parents who want a flexible option.
UPDATE - I have left a phone message for the Superintendent to protest this misleading non-option and I encourage others who are getting the same results from their schools to contact her as well.
Today the government announced that schools will return online for most students on Feb 2 but face to face for kids in Reception, and Years 1,7,8 and 12.
