Hey Friends!

I set up a reservation for a group so if you shoot me a DM or comment below, I'll keep a tally for the restaurant and let them know who to expect! And so you know who to look for, I'll be the loud, happy one in the festive sweater with sparkles!
See you later!
Hey folks. Had my scooter stolen last night. Sawed through a pretty thick U-lock right under someone's window.
1- Be careful out there. Am told there's been a big uptick in thefts since the virus lockdown started.
2- On the off chance that Reddit works it's magic and someone sees it, here's some pics:

Hi! I have one unfurnished bedroom in a newly renovated 2Bd/1Ba apartment located in South Slope/Gowanus/Sunset Park available for 5 months from April 1-August 31! If you are a good fit, might be willing to do a full year.
Move in date: April 1st
$1250/mo + utilities (electric, heat, internet)
Shared kitchen/living space and bathroom. I will also be moving in April 1st (currently being renovated by landlord), so the common area will be initially unfurnished as well for the first few days or so. I will be bringing in a dining set, flat screen TV, coffee table, and small couch. You are more than welcome to add to the living area as well if you like!
No pets or smoking inside please! The occasional overnight guest is fine, but ideally no large parties. Cleanliness and keeping the common areas free of clutter is very important! Looking for someone who is considerate, friendly, and neat.
I am a mid-20s medical professional who works 7-3 M-F. I typically chill and just decompress in my room once Iβm home from work, but Iβm always down to grab a drink!
Just moved to the area (35M). Looking to hit up a few bars tonight starting around 830pm! Let's talk about the new Kanye album, politics, must see tv shows and movies, and anything else. Looking to check out multiple spots tonight, so feel free to plan out the route in the comments below!
Hi! I'm hosting an intro game Saturday, 5/13 to teach a couple friends who are interested in getting started. We have room for a few more newbies at the table! We'll go through the basics of character creation, gameplay, and get started on a one-shot that could potentially evolve into a campaign. If interested, please PM or comment.
I'm looking to buy some Mead, specifically a really light and sweet one without a bitter after taste. I really like the one sold at the NY Ren Faire but they only sell that one in Jersey.
I've been to Tops on Ave U and they have a nice Mead but its a bit too bitter and they are closed today anyway.
Can anyone suggest a good spot to buy mead and/or a nice sweet brand?
Found it! http://www.carrollsmead.com/
A place in Mill Basin Has it. Woot.
Hey guys,
I'm moving to South Park Slope from Jersey City in a week, and have been trying to get some opinions on ISPs from people around the area I'm moving to.
All the info I'm finding is pretty outdated (nothing since 2012), but the consensus at the time was that TWC was atrocious, FiOS was better but going to cost you, and that many apartments and houses have old cable lines that are truly the root of many internet problems.
My house in Jersey City has the worst internet I've experienced and makes it difficult on the occasions I work from home, and I'd really like to avoid those problems this time around. I also have no problem investing some money into a router (and maybe even a cable modem).

There's also a bunch of paper/ bubble wrap if you want that. I'm a 3rd floor walk-up, but hey, they're free! Come get them, they're a fire hazard apparently.
Ever since Eagle Provisions and Bierkraft closed I've been having trouble finding a bottle shop with a large selection. I stumbled up a place called Beer Superstore that seems to have a good selection.
Does anyone have any experience with this shop? It's kind of in a weird location for a bottle shop since there's really no other shopping next to it.

Asking for an old friend. She has a Brownstone that she wants to fix up - she lives upstairs, but the downstairs is a mess. She's raher cash-strapped ATM, so I doubt she can come up with a lot of $$
Hi! I posted a few months ago about hosting an intro game. That ended up being so successful that it's turned into a whole ongoing campaign, which has resulted in other friends who heard about it wanting to learn the game as well.
So, I'm AGAIN hosting an intro game to teach a couple friends who are interested in getting started. We have room for 1 or 2 more newbies at the table! We'll go through the basics of character creation, gameplay, and get started on a one-shot that could potentially evolve into a campaign. If interested, please PM or comment.
The session is scheduled for Saturday 11/25 from 3PM - 9PM.
