A list of puns related to "Sore Tooth"
Hi everyone, I just got my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday (about 12 hours ago) and Iβm in massive amount of pain and the left side of my face had swelled up an insane an amount. But on top of all that I also have a sore throat thatβs killing me!!! Like I find it hard to gulp down my own saliva.
Did anyone else have this symptom? My wisdom teeth were not impacted and the extraction was supposed to be super easy, but there were some sinus perforation related complications.
Hello, I got a root canal yesterday and the tooth that was operated on feels fine but the molar next to it is very sensitive/sore to the touch. I canβt bite down or touch it without jolting back.
Is this normal or something I should be concerned about?
I woke up this morning with a canker on my tonsil area (had them removed). Iβm on day 7 of post op. Is this normal after oral surgery? It hurts when I swallow and have pain on the right side of my face. My surgical area is not in pain but could it radiate to it soon? Thank you!
Really sore wisdom tooth blocked by gum at back of mouth, incredibly sore and painful. Live in the UK really want to go get fixed but terrified of the price....
Edit: Found an nhs dentists appointment for tomorrow, hopefully things will get better after proper treatment....seriously painful though and I hope it will be removed soon.
I'd suggest you use a dried clove on that tooth, don't chew it just let your saliva do the work. After some time you get the spicy juice from clove which can help reduce the tooth pain significantly. This is being done in third world countries for ages. Where to buy cloves for less price? Head to your near Asian/ Indian grocery store and you can buy them for 5$ per 100 grams they usually last for 3 years when stored at room temp.
Yesterday, approximately 32-34 hours prior to making this post, I was hit in the mouth by the back of somebody's head while playing football, injuring my mouth. Ever since, the tooth has been very sensitive to things touching it, has been in slight pain on and off, particularly while eating, responds to vibrations when I walk or jostle my head too much, and looks slightly yellow, though I am not certain on the last point.
Any advice on how to handle the situation / when to see a medical professional if it does not clear up?
I had a filling in my first molar (I googled it!) on the bottom right. This was a few months ago, it was extremely sore so last week so I went back. Apparently the filling above was knocking it out of place so my dentist filed it down. Dentist said the nerve was enflamed so should take a week or two to settle. This was a week ago and it's still quite sensitive and sore (hot pasta sauce and cold water makes me wince in pain - also I wake up with the pain in the morning), so much so that I am managing it with painkillers. Is this normal and it could settle down or should I go back and get it sorted?
I need to make a call today as I'm away for three weeks from Friday. So essentially, if I leave it today, I'm leaving it for three weeks - which could be a fun Christmas.
All and any answers appreciated!
I can barely see it in the mirror when I look in my mouth, but I can see the red border. I have a canker sore above my very back top molar and it is crazy painful!
Anybody else get them on your gums? Iβve had a couple in the past but this one has been the worst for such an area.
I have been under immense stress lately and havenβt slept well. I guess thatβs the culprit. Usually daily supplementation of B vitamins and chelated magnesium glycinate keeps them at bay, but not when Iβm stressed.
Got a molar tooth pulled early September and the wisdom tooth has came in. The whole right side of my face is throbbing and all the surrounding teeth (top and bottom) are sore to eat with. Is this normal?
I have read about this al ot of time, where people put dab or reclaim on the canker sore or tooth ache and the pain disappears...
so this morning i woke up with a annoying sore on my tongue from a accident bit too hard a day ago while eating. I had pain killer, i tried to smoke the pain away and nothing really worked.... I was about to get the oragel.
when I put down my vaped I felt some oily tip and realize I had reclaim on my dynavap, so i say fxxk it, used a swab to get a good dab, and put a good bit of it on where i can see the sore/wound on the tongue, its funny how it can stay there as long as I am not touching it.. considering my tongue was not dry at all...... 5 min later .. I am here, trying to figure out why the miracle, the pain is barely there anymore.
3 days ago I had a mild pain which seems to have gotten worse. When I like the gum with my finger itβs sore and when I eat food sometimes the food will hit off the gum and make it hurt. The pain has gotten worse and I donβt know if itβs because I keep eating food like crisps that are kinda stabbing it.
The sore is right under my tooth, tooth is not sensitive to cold/hot just a little sore bit if I try to move it or press it.
Can the canker sore be the reason why ?
Edit : added a word
Axed until accidental axe dental
Wondering if sensitivity from my #19 molar that needs a root canal can be felt as a weird sensation in molar #30 that already had one a couple years back? I feel like when I really feel it in my left side I don't feel it in my right at all and visa versa. Really weird.
Been mewing for a week now been doing just the vaccum hold and proper swallowing. No chewing or other exercises. I may have been pushing my tongue against the roof of the mouth a bit too hard because now my palate is sore and some of my top teeth are slightly loose. Is this normal or am I gonna get dentures at 27?
Edit: Also there is a lot of saliva, like a lot, a lot. Swallowing every 1-2 min. Any advice on this?
I know Iβm not the only one whoβs noticed that the Pistons have been resting their vets endlessly the last few weeks, but today they have Josh Jackson out due to a sore tooth.
This is one of the more bizarre injury report Iβve seen. Wanted everyone else to enjoy a laugh as the Pistons go for that #1 lottery pick odds!
I'm having some unrelated health issues at the moment so would like to fix this myself for now as it's the 1st bicuspid is easy for food to get up in the pocket. Last time I used my waterpik with some hydrogen peroxide/water mix, and it got better. I bought some mouthwash with peroxide, but it also has alcohol, is labeled as a whitening mouthwash, could this be a factor as it was ok before using it, or just coincidence? Right now I put a piece of cotton ball soaked in peroxide up at the gumline and have been spitting as not to swallow the peroxide. Last time I also used a little lugol's iodine to help reduce infection. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? When I'm feeling better will make app't with dentist.
Long story short, I had a skateboard accident that caused me to completely lose one of my front teeth, and break the other when I was younger⦠I have a crown on the broken right front, and a temporary bridge in place of the of the left tooth.
Iβm doing Invisalign for my other teeth and then having the front two fixed (implant and new crown!).
I started my Invisalign treatment yesterday and they feel fine for the most part! However when I take out the trays to eat (4 meals so far), I get a prominent pain on my crown right tooth. It makes eating very uncomfortable⦠is this normal?
Once I put the trays back on, itβs fine! I just dread taking out the trays, but Iβm getting used to it slowly I think.
