A list of puns related to "Sony Tv"
Sometimes my Google assistant picks up on random words and turns the TV on I went to sleep and I found it sitting on a result for something I said it had been sitting like that for nearly 4 hours without starting the Screensaver as the Screensaver won't trigger on top of the assistant so some youtube result was sitting for exactly 4 hours without anything moving, a static image for 4 hours
I'm both worried and upset this is an oled TV a Sony a90j
They have QLED TVs and some micro LED TVs (not sure). OTOH, LG and Sony are the top most vendors for OLED TVs. Why doesn't samsung enter in this battle?
In 2016 it felt way too early for a less-than 20 year old franchise to be getting a major film. Mario only had 1 film in the early 90s and that did not do very well. And Sonic, despite being nearly 30 years old just got his first film 3 years ago.
If Sony wanted to expand public awareness of the brand, why not start with a tv show on a channel like CN or Netflix where it would be more accessible to general audiences? Think the Mario Super Show, Kirby Right Back At Ya or Sonic X.
At least we have the comic books/manga.

Samsung's QD-OLED technology looks set to make an appearance at next year's CES, with a new report fromΒ Edaily Korea suggesting that mass production will begin at the end of this month.
The report quotes leaked internal communications, from Samsung Display CEO Choi Joo-sun, that say that "QD Display will mass-produce and release 65-inch and 55-inch TVs and 34-inch monitors, and decide whether to increase production based on market reaction".
Intriguingly, multiple recent rumours also suggest that Sony, a key customer of LG Display' OLED panels, is also planning on launching QD-OLED TVs in 2022. AΒ reportΒ from ChosunBiz hints that Samsung Display will start supplying OD-OLED panels to Sony from November 2021, while Business KoreaΒ also reported on the news, saying that in 2022 βSony, the third-largest player in the TV industry, will also release their QD-OLED TV modelsβ.
According to Samsung's website, these 4K panels will feature Quantum Dots that will convert blue OLED pixels into RGB, allowing for better color volume (in theory) than existing WRGB LG OLED panels. These panels also are capable of hitting higher brightness levels (up to 1000 nits) than current OLED TV technology, making it able to deliver a more punchy HDR performance. Overall, this tech looks really promising and could be big step up from current OLED TVs. Hopefully, the prices won't be too high compared to the current lineup of OLED TVs.

Hey guys,
I finally, FINALLY, managed to gather enough cash to buy a decent big Smart TV. I'm 19, and I worked my ass off to be able to afford it. I missed Black Friday, but oh well... I didn't want to buy it on credit, so I had to wait till I got the entire sum this month.
So getting back to my question - Hisense is obviously more affordable because it's a relatively unknown brand compared to Sony, but the reviews I read are still impressive. Besides - it has HDR10+ that the Sony model lacks, but I guess it's not a dealbreaker for me.
However, the comparison reviews I read about these models mention that apps run smoother on Sony. It's essential for me because I want to use an IPTV. I found several that offer IPTV trial, which is great and gives me options to choose the one I like, but I want it to work with Alexa, too.
I'm planning on using the TV both for gaming and watching shows, so I'm looking for something that can decently perform for either and run an IPTV app smoothly.
I'd be thrilled to hear some advice from owners of any of these two models or get advice on any other reasonably-priced models. I'm not dead-set on these two - they just seemed to be good choices.
Of course, if I can get a larger model with equally good specs for roughly the same amount - I'll be thrilled.
If any of you guys use IPTV, I'd also appreciate some advice. I heard firestick works like a charm with Alexa and is quite reliable, but I'm sure it's not the only option. And another quick question - if you do use IPTV - are you using it via VPN or not. I know that it's a must for free IPTVs but do I still need it if I'm getting a subscription?
Many thanks in advance to anyone willing to help!
I know this won't apply to everyone but it's worth mentioning.
Newish Sony TVs have a Bravia app where you can redeem 5 Sony movies (most in 4k HDR) for free.
I got GB1, GB2 and Afterlife without spending a penny.
...unless you count the TV.
Hello, Iβm trying to decide if I want to use my TV WiFi (5ghz) or my TV Ethernet port for more stable connection. My TV is Sony XBR75X940E, bought it when it came out. For a one step below Z9 you would think it would have gigabit port but it doesnβt. My internet connection is 200Mbps, and 100Mbps connection should be more than enough to stream all 4K contents. Any suggestion on which connection I should use?
New firmware that came out on Sony Google TV for UK users finally adds what everyone was looking forward to.
Finally this adds itv hub and all 4 on Google. You can also add individual apps on the main home screen

Is there any way to play my iPhone videos on my TV in 4K quality that theyβre recorded in?
Airplay 2.0 on my Sony is laggy and sound is off. From what I can find airplay is only good for 1080p.
Would an Apple TV 4K solve this issue?
Hi everyone, I have just bought a X90J from Sony. I can't seem to use PiP in Smarttubenext.
How am I able to force this Android TV to activate PIP?
Regards
I was at my local BestBuy and saw a big 75" X950H that has been marked down under $1000. It is marked as "excellent" but the worker told me it had been used as the display TV. What would the biggest worries be in buying this?
Check out the Sony Core app and redeem some of your credits to watch uncompressed 4K movies. Blows away Netflix and Hulu type steaming sites. See what your new TV can really do.
Hope this is an easy answer.
Purchased a Sony A80J 65 OLED yesterday, which I went with the two-year protection plan. I am a light TV user (less than ten hours a week) so very low risk of burn-in if watching videos through the Apple TV. Due to this, I was like two-years was enough.
GF wanted to pay some of the TV, which I told her she doesn't. But she keep saying that she wants to.
I was just thinking of just letting my GF win, and just upgrade the GS protection plan from two-years to five-years.
I can do the upgrade at any BB store before the TV's return period (and not 30 days as I keep reading).
Thanks, and I'm in FL if it means anything.
Hello,
Trying here as I couldnβt get a good response on /r/4ktv or /r/Bravia.
I have an OLED tv thatβs a couple of years old (Sony A8G). Itβs one of the cheaper product lines in the portfolio so I understand it has an older processor with lower memory. As a result, the experience is a bit lacking. I get freezes switching between apps, and browsing can be sluggish.
Thinking of a dedicated streaming dongle to help with this, and I keep landing on the shield. I have an NVIDIA gpu so Iβm looking forward to game streaming, but my primary use will be streaming apps: Netflix, Prime, D+, HBO Max.
Question is, between stock android tv and a shield, which will deliver the highest quality image. Iβm talking 4K HDR Dolby Vision where applicable.
I have a PS5 already as well. Would it be worth just using that instead of getting a whole new device?
Any help greatly appreciated!
Hello,
I tried to play some games on geforce now, but i can't pass the login step, can't write nothing with my wireless keyboard mouse set HP Pavilion 800.
Did someone tried something similar, had succes on playing from tv direct on Geforce now ?
Thanks in advance!
Having let the dust settle a bit, I got the impression the recent sets may have had the tech forced into them to get them onto shelves rather than really working seamlessly with them. E.g short on HDMI ports if you have a lot of devices requiring 2.1 and an Atmos soundbar
Anyone out there with an Atmos soundbar, PS5, AppleTV 4K etc with everything working seamlessly?
My KD-55XE9305 is probably the longest Iβve owned a set and Iβm truly happy with it still, but Iβm currently missing out on Atmos features of my soundbar so upgrading is on my radar
