Skulduggery Pleasant is a living skeleton and an extremely powerful Elemental, as well as being part of the Dead Men. As well as doing all the regular elemental things at an advanced level, he can also fly, create streams of fire, create walls of air and can manipulate the earth more so than just the regular earth power. He is also highly skilledin hand-to-hand combat, as shown when he beats Ravel easily at the end of LSODM. He also carries a revolver.
Mr Bliss is an extremely powerful Enhancer, and is said to be the strongest individual in the world. He can punch through walls and destroy bones easily, as shown when he smashes Gruesome Krav (who is also an enhancer) through a wall after breaking all the bones in his knuckles. He has been described as incredibly hard to kill due to his durability, which makes bullets and blades simply bounce of him, and he was even able to survive Serpine’s red right hand, despite being exposed to it for longer than most people could handle.

This battle takes place in a cave system. It is dark and dank, the ceiling is low, and there are many rocks for fighters to hide behind and perform ambushes from.

"I'm still alive," Kenspeckle croaked.
"Not for long," Basedus replied, and punted Kenspeckle's head.
Skulduggery slowly stood up and ate a golf ball.
"Basedus Villainus. So. This would appear to be our final-"
He was interrupted by Basedus blowing off his head with an antique Mosin-Nagant.
Skulduggery brought out his imaginary gun, but Basedus blew up his imaginary gun with an imaginary laser blast from his imaginary eyes.
"Ow," Basedus said, realizing that he now had no eyes in reality, seeing as his eyes were imaginary.
"You have been outsmarted by an outsmarter, outsmartedee," Skuduggery gloated.
Basedus stepped in with a triple roundhouse karate genju rolling chop kick punch jab.
Skulduggery stepped aside.

Basedus opened his mouth to say something, but Kenspeckle's head made a complete orbit around the earth, defying all laws of physics, and nailed in right in the nape.
Basedus's neck snapped, and he dropped harder than the beat in dubstep songs.
A Fecesless One appeared suddenly, and reality constricted and warped around the singularity that broke the very fabric of existence.
"Finally," Skulduggery said, and shot an imaginary bullet with his imaginary gun at the Fecesless One.
The Fecesless One swallowed the imaginary bullet.
"Aha," Skullduggery said. "You has fallen into my trap."
The Fecesless One could not dislodge the bullet, as he suffered from acute constipation.
"i x i = -1," Skulduggery declared, and the antimatter bullet tore apart the Fecesless One.
Basedus rose and realigned his snapped neck. "Not so fast," He said.
Sjulduggahry, Skulduggery's friend, stepped in.

Ghastly Bespoke is a very skilled Elemental, and one of the Dead Men. He is able to use all the Elemental powers a high level, just underneath the levels Skulduggery is at, as Ghastly is also shown to be able to float a little. He is also a proficient hand-to-hand fighter due to his years of boxing practice, being able to fight on par with Tesseract for a short time.
Murder Rose is part of the Diablerie, and is a ruthless and deadly killer. While her magic is unknown, she is a powerful close-quarters fighter, using her daggers and agility to beat Tanith Low quite easily, and was able to match the White Cleaver for a short time. She is also a skilled knife-thrower, and likes to toy with her victims.
Lethe is an incredibly skilled hand-to-hand fighter, and his ability to gain knowledge extremely quickly allows him to perfectly learn any opponents fighting style with just a glance makes him a formidable opponent, as shown when he went from matching Skulduggery to easily defeating him, doing the same against both Skulduggery and Valkyrie later on. Lethe has the agility and speed of a Cleaver, and he also wears a Necronaut suit, which protects him against most attacks, though it is said to be less durable than protective or armoured clothing.
Caelan is a vampire, and while fast and agile, is much slower and less powerful than Dusk, as Caelan is only around a century old. Albeit not being very old or powerful compared to other characters, he is still a vampire, and has superhuman strength and agility. He is also very hated on r/skulduggerypleasant, and for good reason. No one loves you Caelan, and no one ever will.

I’ve got about an hour to write this, and afterwards I won’t be able to check Reddit again, so let’s begin.
Since the Skulduggery Pleasant Combat Tournament is coming to a close soon, I’ve come up with some new ideas for different tournaments. They are as follows:
Powerful Character Tournament
Exactly what it says on the tin. More powerful characters competing in a more bloody tournament. Expect to see Mevolent, Lord Vile, Serpine, Abyssinia, Kitana Kellaway, The Grotesquery, Melancholia, and the winner of the current tournament competing in this one.
Dead Men Tournament
This one is a bit trickier. Obviously we have Skulduggery, Shudder, Ghastly, Saracen, Dexter, and Ravel. However, that’s about where it stops. I’ve decided to put in Valkyrie since she technically became a Dead Woman(?) at one point, but after that I’ve got no clue. I can’t use Hopeless or Larrikin since we haven’t seen them fight, but otherwise I don’t know.
Duos Tournament
This one is probably my favourite. A 2 v 2 tournament. I’ve got a do a bit more balancing before I can do this one though, as some duos are much more powerful than others.
Book Tournaments
Consisting of characters that were introduced in a single book, for example, a Book 1 tournament would include Skulduggery, Valkyrie, Serpine, Ghastly, Tanith, Mr. Bliss, The White Cleaver, and China.

What random turn of events led you to skulduggery pleasant?
For me , the wad 2012. Little me just got a world book day token and was set free in the local bookshop. The little world book day book that I got was skulduggery pleasant: the end of the world.
Yes , that story from armageddon outta here was originally a stand alone book. Not sure how known that is. It seems to be relatively rare , judging by the fact that it's going for 30 pounds on amazon ( 30 pounds = 56 aussi dollars , 40 dollars , 35 euros , 0.00094 bitcoin , ect). It's my most cherished copy of any of the books, although I'll probably sell it at some point because , well , I can't eat cherished memories.

Hi. Herobrine7293 here. I run the Skulduggery Pleasant Combat Tournament 2 Electric Boogaloo thingy that’s been going on these past few weeks, with the help of u/WassBoss8 and his amazing writing skills, as well as all the wonderful commenters discussing about the battle taking place.
However, I’ve run into a bit of a problem. I’m going away from the 31st of December until the 11th of January, and won’t be able to go on Reddit on those dates and the ones in between. This means that, unfortunately, I will have to put the Combat Tournament on a hiatus.
I still plan to doing the Quarter-Finals before I go away though. I will post 1 battle on the 28th, 2 on the 29th, and 1 on the 30th, which gives me time to look at the votes and make the next post detailing the winner.
When I come back on the 11th, I fully plan on finishing up the Combat Tournament with the Semi-Finals and Grand Final, and possibly even a secret, extra battle you will have to find out about later ;).

Gracious O’Callahan’s magic is similar to Mr Bliss’s Enhancement magic, except less powerful. He is still incredibly strong, and one punch from him was able to send even the hulking Charivari reeling. He’s also incredibly durable, his body able to resist against most kinds of blades and bullets like most Enhancers. Gracious makes up one half on the Monster Hunter duo, and due to his centuries of adventuring, is a very experienced and powerful sorcerer.
Charivari is ten feet tall and the leader of the Warlocks, being their most powerful warrior. His size alone and muscle mass make him very dangerous, as he can snap necks and throw people with ease. His warlock abilities give him resistance to damage which allowed him to take several punches from Gracious, an enhancer, and allow him to heal and offensive powers that includes shooting beams and balls of energy that have range of blasting someone off their feet to utterly obliterating them entirely. He is powerful and durableenough to beat Dexter Vex, Saracen Rue, Donegan Bane, and Gracious O’Callahan in a fight.

This fight takes place in an aeroplane. There is cargo all over the place, making many boxes to hide behind. It is also very cramped due to the low height of the aeroplane ceiling.

I realised something yesterday. Skulduggerys been going for fifteen years now. That's older than a few people on this sub. When I first started reading it I was a dumb pre-teen who laughed at the word poo. Now , in the time I've been reading the series , I've changed into a smooth brain millennial who laughs at the word rectum. The change was immense. I just wanted to know when you started being part of this cult and how you've change since and if it changed you in any way. However you've developed as a person in that time I'm sure it was better than valkyrie's.
So I was thinking after I finish the series I was thinking I could make a comic series based on the book. It would mainly contain the OG gang of the series, (Ghastly, Tanith, Skulduggery, and Val). It might take place in the earlier books or just if they all could be together after the series. This comic will probably have to start off with an alternative ending with certain characters being alive and different things happening to them. It will mainly just showcase things they do when they're not fighting crime or saving the world because I would love to see more of that. But it's not certain that I'll make it because of some projects I'm already working on, but if the ending is unsatisfactory or has something to do with Val or Skulduggery dying I'll most likely make it. I'll probably need help with it, but I'm not done with reading the series so it'll be a while until I'll make it.

The White Cleaver also has regenerative abilities that allows him to live basically any attack aside from decapitation or being ripped to shreds like how Lord Vile did.

Sanguine is a powerful hitman, described (by himself) as the Hitman Deluxe. He has a kind of earth magic that allows him to tunnel through any pretty much any surface incredibly quickly, so fast that even the White Cleaver struggled to keep up with it. Using this power allows him to jump out from the ground or walls to attack opponents, or leave them stuck in walls. He also carries a straight razor, the scars from which never fade, has no eyes and wears sunglasses for style points.
Skulduggery Pleasant is a living skeleton and an extremely powerful Elemental, as well as being part of the Dead Men. As well as doing all the regular elemental things at an advanced level, he can also fly, create streams of fire, create walls of air and can manipulate the earth more so than just the regular earth power. Spring-Heeled Jack is not exactly human, rather a humanoid creature with the ability to leap very far and very high. He is also very fast and is a good fighter, defeating Tanith in open area and being able to survive smashing into a wall of air during a high speed car chase. His ability seems to allow him to cancel and shift his momentum, letting him spring from wall to ceiling to floor in large distances in seconds without getting a concussion.

Madame Mist is one of the Children of the Spider and an extremely powerful one at that. She is incredibly strong and fast, and her body contains tiny, black spiders that form her body and she can vomit them up like the Torment, but not to the extent that he can. These spiders are weak, but in the number Mist can produce them at they can be a big threat, able to smother and suffocate a person and produce their venom enough to make a person sluggish. She also has white spider with very powerful venom, one that dropped Tesseract in a second. Mist is also a proficient close-combat fighter, and she was able to easily beat a remnant-possessed Tanith and forced China to use her suicide option to beat her.
The White Cleaver (or Black Cleaver but White Cleaver sounds so much better) is a reanimated Cleaver, killed and then brought back to life by Nefarian Serpine. Being a Cleaver, he is extremely well-trained with his scythe, can run extremely fast, is strong and agile, and is a powerful hand-to-hand fighter. The White Cleaver also has regenerative abilities that allows him to live basically any attack aside from decapitation or being ripped to shreds like how Lord Vile did.

Anton Shudder is one of the Dead Men, and is an extremely powerful Adept, being able to use a Gist, which is basically his determination, hatred, and rage turned into one dark and destructive being that bursts out of his chests and attacks anything and anyone near Shudder, though it was unable to get through Mevolent’s war armour in KOTW. However, if Shudder uses it for too long, the Gist will overtake him and he will turn into something living in it. Shudder is also an excellent hand-to-hand fighter and it has been said before that “no-one wants to go up against Shudder.”

Anton Shudder is one of the Dead Men, and is an extremely powerful Adept, being able to use a Gist, which is basically his determination, hatred, and rage turned into one dark and destructive being that bursts out of his chests and attacks anything and anyone near Shudder. However, if Shudder uses it for too long, the Gist will overtake him and he will turn into something living in it. Shudder is also an excellent hand-to-hand fighter and has been shown to be able to use a sword during the War of Sanctuaries.
Solomon Wreath is a Necromancer and is one of the Clerics at the Necromancer temple in Ireland. He places his Necromancer power inside his cane, which he uses to send shadows as spears, daggers, waves, and streams of darkness. He can also shadow-walk, a limited variant of teleportation. #Information
Skulduggery Pleasant is a living skeleton and an extremely powerful Elemental, as well as being part of the Dead Men. As well as doing all the regular elemental things at an advanced level, he can also fly, create streams of fire, create walls of air and can manipulate the earth more so than just the regular earth power. He is also highly skilledin hand-to-hand combat, as shown when he beats Ravel easily at the end of LSODM. He also carries a revolver.
Donegan Bane is a powerful Energy-Thrower and makes up half of the Monster Hunter duo. He is a very experienced and powerful sorcerer due to his centuries of adventuring, so it’s safe to assume he can dish out some pretty powerful blasts. Energy blasts can range in power from smashing a lock to blasting through wraiths as shown on LSODM. Donegan also seems fairly skilled in combat after he was able to take down Portia quite easily in LSODM.

This battle takes place in a Volcanic area. It is swelteringly hot, and there is a lot of magma and lava all over the place, and the terrain is quite rocky.

#Information
Ghastly Bespoke is a very skilled Elemental, and one of the Dead Men. He is able to use all the Elemental powers a high level, just underneath the levels Skulduggery is at, as Ghastly is also shown to be able to float a little. He is also a proficient hand-to-hand fighter due to his years of boxing practice, being able to fight on par with Tesseract for a short time.
Fletcher Renn is a Teleporter, and he can teleport to any place he has been before, and can also take people with him. He has used this ability in fights before to collect weapons and use them against his opponents. He isn’t a great fighter, but his unique ability provides a challenge for any opponent. It is important to point out that in these fights, Fletcher may not teleport other people away from the fight, and can only teleport himself away from the fight for a maximum of three seconds, just to keep the fights fair.
