A list of puns related to "Sidcup"
6-7pm all week, accepting anyone who is 6+ months post 2nd jab. Probably not worth getting there until 6.30 or so as the walk in queue didn't move until all appointments had been seen.
Both Pfizer and Moderna (which i received) seemed to be available yesterday.
Wrap up warm as you queue outside.

Significance is the new labour candidate in an upcoming by-election. Once again I am asking the mods to reconsider this ridiculous rule.

Taking place tomorrow. A big test for Starmer. We won't win but if he can't take votes from the Tories in their current state when can he? I'd say 30% should be the minimum target for Labour.
Britain Predict's seat-by-seat prediction says Con 54.1% (-10.4) Lab 27.8% (+4.3)
A rumour from twitter:
Nervousness grows in CCHQ as Old Bexley and Sidcup by-election approaches. Chief whip has emailed Tory MPs urging them to join a βdawn raidβ on polling day and calling for βas many hands as possibleβ. One says: βThey are shitting themselves.β
On the other hand Rachel Wearmouth says:
A reshuffle now also signals that Labour foresees making no progress in the Bexley by-election (a solid Tory seat anyway). Heard it's been v difficult for them on the ground.
Fun fact: Labour have only increased their vote at 1 of the last 13 by-elections.

I have been living in London for the past three years. Decided to jump into the property market. My requirement is a two bed house in a peaceful area within easy reach to Central London. My plan is to work and socialise in London and get back to my peaceful abode on time. I am a guy in early thirties living alone. Considering my budget and some visits to multiple places, I found some properties in Hemel Hempstead (Boxmoor area) and Sidcup. I like both the places.
Though Hemel is looked down upon, the Boxmoor area is pretty great. Nice green spaces. The only downside I would say is higher price for season ticket.
Sidcup is inside Oyster zone 4/5. I like the calm vibe around it(Or am I wrong?). Not as beautiful as Boxmoor though.
I am torn between the two properties. Is there anything I am missing about the two places that could pull me from or push me towards one of the places?

> The monsters have won.
> Evil has won.
> This is the only thing that can be taken from the Old Bexley and Sidcup by-election win.
> In horror movies there is a twist ending where the monster or the killer comes back & wins. Its a form of art that's supposed to be a fiction that relays a horrible truth.
> So the question is when did British politics become a thing of horror? What happened to us as a country that we actually vote back in the monsters & evil who actively sought to torture us & openly kill us?!
> Because thats what has happened in the Old Bexley and Sidcup by-election win. I use the word "win" loosely. The tories didnt win. They got enough voter turnout on around 34% to secure a pathetic victory amongst the death & misery they have inflicted on the country.
> Again the monsters have won.
> So what does this mean for the future of Britain?
> The country is going to be turned into an open air morgue with people dying because of the horror movie motif that is Boris Johnson. Johnson has repeatedly said over the last year that people ARE going to die. And it has just gone over the heads of the majority of the country. Also note there has been no challenge from in the ranks of the Conservative Party. Conservative MP's have stood back and allowed the grotesque Johnson to act in such a way that 164,000 of Brits have died due directly to Johnson's polices during COVID. So the whole Conservative Party is guilty by association.
> Again the monsters have won.
> Are we getting the politicians we deserve, for years of indifference & apathy at the ballot box? These politicians are only a reflection of the public who voted for them. There is something very very ugly in British society at the moment. And these politicians are the subconscious reflection of that ugliness.
> In Nightmare on Elm Street Freddy Kruger hid inside the subconscious minds of the teenagers before killing them.
> Boris Johnson isnt hiding. He is in plain sight. And his premiership at 10 Downing Street is killing the country.
> The monsters have won.
Recommends. No questions asked.
Moderna, AZ & Pfizer walk-ins. Had mine at 5 weeks post first dose, no questions asked. She said sheβll run out of Pfizer by lunchtime tomorrow (Sunday 18th) but still, OPEN SUNDAY from 9am and all through the week. Give them a call, theyβre super helpful and friendly. No queue at 6pm Saturday eve.
EDIT: Iβve seen on another thread that theyβre not open yet (Sunday 9:30am) so maybe try calling or going later on. The staff did tell me 9am so sorry if any wasted time this morning.
