A list of puns related to "Shimazu"
I have restarted dozens of times now and i always end up in the same situation. Albeit better now but still nowhere near enough nor fast enough. Watched several videos and i still can't pull it off. At the end i just cannot go on any longer due to truces, looming war with Korea and AE. Plus rebellions and sometimes bankruptcy, sometimes.

After restarting many times i have managed to conquer the island i reside on but i am screwed out because to expand either north or east there are 2 duchies with navies bigger than mine thus i cannot cross.
Which means i have to restart for the like 13th time.

Summary
Toyohisa was a samurai who lived during the mid-16th century. He became an accomplished veteran by the time he was fifteen years old. Toyohisa and the rest of the Shimazu Clan was one of the greatest obstacles to Toyotomi Hideyoshi's conquest, though in the end they too surrendered to him.
The Saber class is Toyohisa's weakest class, mostly embodying the version of him from the Battle of Sekigahara and how he died playing decoy for his retreating compatriots. Conversely, his strongest class is Rider, which is a version of him at his peak during the Invasion of Korea.
In Chaldea, Toyohisa prefers the company of fellow Japanese Servants. Specifically, he likes trying to provoke Servants from the Tokugawa Shogunate's era into dueling him. Out of the non-Japanese Servants, Toyohisa gets along best with Iskandar due to them both being major warfare otaku. Despite his lazy and flippant disposition, Toyohisa is most certainly one of the battle maniac Servants.
Anyone know where I can find more historicaly accurate sources about the 15th head of the Shimazu clan, Takahisa
The son of Shimazu vassal, Tadayoshi of the Mimasaka Shimazu and the successor of 14th head, Shimazu Katsuhisa who adopted Takahisa to be the next Shimazu Daimyo which basically saved the Shimazu from further instability
The man who began the fight to take back Osumi and Hyuga and whose sons would usher in the clans most successful period in generations
The man who fathered perhaps the greatest Shimazu warriors
His 4 sons
Yoshihisa(16th Shimazu Daimyo in order to succession, succeeding his father in 1566) Iehisa( a notable samurai who took in many of the Shimazu campaigns against the Otomo and the father of Toyohisa who was present at Sekigahara with his uncle, Yoshihiro) Toshihisa Yoshihiro(led many successful campaigns for the clan and the battle which is dubbed the Okehazama of Kyushu)
The man who welcomed Foreigners and the first Daimyo to bring western fire arms and met Francis Xavier. He granted the Jesuit protection to spread Christianity, but later retracted due to pressure from the Monks
The man who would wage war against his Kokujin vassals The Kimotsuki clan and Ito clan at the Siege of iwatsurugi castle in 1554
I need to know more about his Kashindan and how he waged his campaigns and why the Kimotsuki and Ito clans turned thier support away from the Shimazu
I know there was infighting at the time of Katsuhisas reign and what's worse is that he did not have a son which led to Sanehisa from another branch of the Shimazu family, chasing him away
By 1526
Katsuhisa handed the leadership to the clan to Takahisa after asking Tadayoshi for help
However by 1539, Katsuhisa had regained power but was defeated by Tadayoshi at the Battle of Ichirai
Finally, Takahisa became recognized as the de facto head of the Shimazu Daimyo family by all members
He and his son lived together for a number of years at UchiujijΓ³ castle and after Takahisa's succession, Tadayoshi retired to aΒ monastery Β which belonged to theΒ Zen sect .During this time Tadayoshi called himselfΒ Shimazu NisshinsaiΒ (orΒ Jisshinsai) (ε³Άζ΄₯ζ₯ζ°ζ)Β He held a great amount of power, trading with theΒ Ryuku kingdomΒ and Ming-Dynasty China. He also arranged for massive purchases ofΒ arquebusesΒ to make the clan prosperous for the planned unification ofΒ KyushuΒ by Takahisa.
That's all I know about Takahisa and his life in terms of how he came to power with the help of his father

Shimazu - Daimyo of the Nine Provinces
Japan, 1545 CE. The age of the country at war.
As lord of a samurai clan, conquer your rivals, acquire Portuguese guns, raid Korea, and defeat the Shogun to create a legacy to last centuries. Will you succeed where the Shimazu failed?
Features:
I've been trying for days and I always get crushed early on. (I know that there are forums for this, but everyone has a different approach, and I would like to hear different opinions.)
I love both of their personalities. The way they fight, their beliefs, their overall character. Everytime they fight it's always so exhilarating to me. I just want a manga with an mc that has the same personality, I need MORE
I have been giving a thought of which clan I should do. First is the dates, because I don't to deal with Christen, and the flank are secure. The most are provinces are ferities. Second is the Oda, because it cheap Ashi unitd but in late game it crap. Many fronts too, I could got south and north but as I said too many fronts.
Third is chosa, which all I have deal with islands and no Christen. Furthermore the clan trait, which earn more from farmings.
I started off quite well as Shimazu, but I took too long to take out Ito. Due to the number of large armies they recruited and loss to me, it gave Shoni enough time to invade them. However, as I made my way up to Hyuga, my campaign began to plunder. They have A LARGE FUCKING ARMY parked outside and I only have halve the number. Now Sagara is planning to attack me with their LARGE FUCKING ARMY. I need to to counter this.
I am trying to break some I can't do yet that is Shimazu very hard dif, I fail because I lost my damiyo in couple of turn but a victory noneless, then he son become of ages on couple of turn, I conquer the Kyushu in couple of turns but my second army that build up was beating by Kikkawa Clan in Bungo Siege battle . I use my damiyo army to beat it that Kikkawa clan and then make peace and make them my vassal, my army is badly damaged then the amko clan come finish the Jobs.
Wish me luck on other attempt
I've gotten the game during the free giveaway and barely touched it since I was fixed on WH2 and Rome 2 at the time. Decided to go Shimazu since most people consider them the beginner faction. I'm aware about religion conversion where Christianity gives you guns and Trade ships at the cost of all of Buddhist Japan hating you. Should I go Christianity or stick to Buddhism?
So I am trying to figure out how to defend my trade nodes while staying Buddhist. I did an Otomo campaign and found it vastly easier than my current shimazu. Both are being done on Very Hard. I really am trying to not convert to Christianity. What is a good fleet to build to defend the sea or should I just ignore the trade nodes and go full land?
Iβm trying to figure out a way around his ashigaru spam. So far Iβve been speccing into gunpowder mastery to get matchlock samurai and fire rockets, but Iβm worried still. Also, itβs about 12 years into the game and itβs just me vs the sagara on kyushu with the mori dipping in and out. I lost bungo and recaptured it 7 times against either the sagara, otomo, or mori. I used to have a massive navy and 2 trade nodes stacked but I couldnβt overcome the mori and other navies so I scuppered everything to save the economy. Iβm allied with the hatano and trading with the chosokabe and miyoshi on shikoku. I spent all my money focusing on the economy and developing provinces and buildings once I was making 4K per turn from trade rather than steamrolling Kyushu. I made a half stack army of katana and naginatas that havenβt done all to much. Iβm about to finish off the sagara with a full stack yari ashigaru army, but Iβm definitely behind in the campaign. At one point I had four provinces on the island and was fighting full stack armies on consecutive turns from the mori, otomo, and sagara. At least the otomo are gone now.
He already has more than a couple provinces on each coast east of Kyoto, and is raking in 5k per turn. Iβm bringing in barely 3 digits sometimes...
I thought itβd be a good idea to come here and ask for anti-oda strats? My friend is quite new and so hasnβt really investigated the game beyond yari spam with a few bow samurai and special units mixed in here and there.
Is the gunpowder specialization and expenditure worth it? Should I destroy the mori and focus on the trade nodes to build income?
At this point Iβm significantly behind him in campaign development to the extent that heβs offering fee cash to help me catch up..... and heβs the noob here. Iβve owned the game since 2013...
