A list of puns related to "Shelby Hearon"
get his ass.
I've been looking for new podcasts recently. So many comedy shows have left Earwolf, and so few have been added - seriously, what was the last comedy podcast added to Earwolf? Headgum is one of, if not the largest comedy podcast network and I wanted to explore a it more since I have given little thought to it despite liking several of their shows.
For this project I only considered shows that had released an episode in the last week, so a few shows that seem to run as seasons were not included. I tried to listen to at least half an episode. I am really just looking for funny podcasts, so some of the shows were never going to get a good review from me, but I encourage you to check out some of the less comedy-oriented shows if the topic interests you. And let everyone know which Headgum pods you enjoy. There are 26 podcast reviews total.
Ace of Hearts
Host: Monique Heart
No guests despite Headgum's description. The host is a A RuPaulβs Drag Race contestant, which is a world I know nothing about. These episodes are about 25 minutes long. Starts with several news stories such as Bostonβs first black mayor and DMX being hospitalized. The host barely comments on these. Then she (I believe this is usually the proper pronoun for when drag queens are in their persona? Monique does not list pronouns on her social media, but the fanwiki uses "she") goes to a voice call segment. A listener asks Monique what she means when she says she talked to god, what is she doing or saying. The next segment is news stories that are βtrashβ. For someone that I assume has a big personality this felt a bit bland and unopinionated.

A Good Cry
Host: Michael Cruz Kayne
This is a new podcast, and this was "episode 1", after an introductory episode. This podcast deals with grief. Twelve years ago one of hostβs twins died. He is currently a writer on Colbertβs show, but has never talked to him one on one because of COVID. The guest on this episode is Stephen Colbert himself and he talks about how he found out about his father and two brothers dying in a plane crash and I had to bow out. Stephen is an engaging and thoughtful speaker, but this is basically the opposite of what I'm looking for in a podcast.

All Fantasy Everything
Hosts: Ian Karmel, David Gborie, Sean Jordan
Has a guest almost every episode. I was already a regular listener to this podcast. I admit I didn't like it several years ago, but after David and Sean became regular hosts it got much
... keep reading on reddit β‘I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Nothing, he was gladiator.
BamBOO!
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
I won't be doing that today!

Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
