A list of puns related to "Sheila Vand"
I think all you guys should watch the show. It's very similar to the OA in the sense of accessing other realms. It doesn't have the same emotional impact like the OA does, but I don't think any show could compare to the OA in that way. This show will help distract you from the heartbreak of the OA.
(2020) Invisible Man 9/10
This remake, simply put, is excellent. I’m a huge fan of Leigh Whannell and while I do think the story itself is fantastic, it’s his directing that blew me away. This movie is so fucking tense without showing anything for a huge majority of its runtime. When shit actually starts to go down, it’s the definition of thrilling. Elisabeth Moss killed her role.
(2020) The Rental 8/10
The meat and bones of this movie is a character driven drama story. It’s tense and having so much knowledge right away as the viewer that the characters don’t have is frankly anxiety inducing, in a good way. I thought all four main performances were fantastic, especially Sheila Vand. There’s a moment in the film where everything is abruptly subverted in a grand horror fashion and depending on your tastes, that may be off-putting. To me, it was absolutely genius. Dave Franco directed the fuck out of this movie and eliminated all the comfort of campiness that great slashers usually hold.
(2020) Relic 8/10
Robyn Nevin is fantastic here and all the supporting roles are great but not only does this woman make the movie, she is the movie. Her dialogue, her delivery and her body language, at least to me, are a huge chunk of the entire plot. I just found this movie to be gentle until it isn’t, which makes for the most tense moments. It’s a very claustrophobic film; I think it does justice to a very serious and frightening illness.
(2020) Palm Springs 8/10
It doesn’t take long to catch on that, while this is a romantic comedy, it’s also a sci-fi horror film and a specific subset of sci-fi that makes me anxious. So in some regards, at least to genre placement, there’s my bias. The movie is seriously a treat though. It’s a new spin on an old formula and it’s genuinely funny, suspenseful and endearing. Even if you disagree that it shouldn’t be discussed in the horror circles, you won’t regret watching it.
(2020) Shirley 7/10
It’s an incredibly interesting film for many reasons but mostly because it exists as a biopic, as well as a psychological horror film. Jackson is played Elisabeth Moss who is just wonderful. She really brought to life the internal struggle of Jackson. I’d suggest doing some research before diving into this because her profession during the time period was not glamorous or widely accepted, which gives context to, well, everything.
(2020) Becky 8/10
Kevin James was fantastic. He’s a sadistic fuck in this
... keep reading on reddit ➡I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

KiKiKi, MaMaMa, Happy Friday the 13th to all. Whether you're taking Manhattan or embarking on a new beginning, please take a moment to share any movies (old or new blood) you saw this week.
Fatal Games aka Olympic Nightmare (1987) Young Olympic hopefuls train at a prestigious academy, only to get picked off one by one by a mad javelin thrower. Could it be the angry young javelin trainee? No, he dies early. Could it be the doctor who is administering experimental treatments on his patients? Or an angry coach or rival? The twist/reveal at the end is the best part of the movie, and perhaps a few missed opportunities for sporting equipment kills instead of using a javelin every time. There are countless shower scenes to break the monotony though. Sally Kirkland, who was nominated for an Oscar the very same year for Anna, plays a lesbian physical therapist who isn’t shy about ass grabbing during a massage.
Criminal Woman: Killing Melody (1973) Recently released from prison, Reiko Ike teams up with her old cellmates to exact revenge on the yakuza who killed her father. Miki Sugimoto, also and old prison buddy, happens to be her target’s main squeeze. The 10th cinematic pairing pairing of Reiko and Miki (according to the dvd liner notes), this one delivers the goods.
The Boy Behind the Door (2020) Two little league baseball players are kidnapped. One escapes, but rather than flee he re-enters the house to rescue his buddy, where a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues. Complete with a “how dumb can this cop possibly be?” scene, I wasn’t super-impressed.
Dead Calm (1989) Sam Neil and Nicole Kidman on a boating trip rescue Billy Zane from a sinking yacht. Sam, a career navy guy, goes to check out the distressed vessel..uh oh, ya sure you wanna leave your wife alone with a stranger? Fun, but formulaic 80s/90s type thriller with an ending you’ve seen a hundred times, but that’s OK. Some brief, pre-boob job nudity from Nicole.
The Rental (2020) Air B&B horror about two couples in a vacation house that realize they’re being filmed, and possibly something worse. Alison Brie plays the only likable character, Dan Stevens (The Guest) is her boyfriend, and Sheila Vand, who I only realized this moment was “the girl” from A Girl Walks Home at Night, and some other douchey guy round out the cast. Alison’s real-life hubby, David Franco, is a first time director. Liked it, wouldn’t watch twice.
Wicked Stepmother (1989) Larry Cohen’s PG-13 comedy

This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
I won't be doing that today!

This morning, my 4 year old daughter.
Daughter: I'm hungry
Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
Thank you all for listening.

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
I just watched it as it was on Amazon prime, even though this subreddit said not to. I thought it was pretty decent, nothing amazing or wildly original, but I was never bored by it.
The most common criticism I heard was that the characters were unlikeable. I didn’t really mind them at all. They seemed very real to me and I actually really liked Jeremy White’s character.
My only real issue is that the ending kinda flops. There is nothing really poignant or memorable about it. Although, I thought the end credits were cool.
I don’t know, gave it 3.4/5.
When I got home, they were still there.
