A list of puns related to "Seth Curry"
You see all the talk around DeRozan and Durant, but Curry's splits are incredible:
At Rim: 19/25 (.760)
3 to 10 ft: 29/51 (.569)
10 to 16 ft: 33/56 (.589)
16 ft to 3-pt: 57/98 (.582)
3-pt: 78/190 (.411)
He's definitely been a difference-maker for the Sixers this season (at least on offense). Stats taken from https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/curryse01/shooting/2022
With the Sixers playing short handed, Seth played as the Sixers' starting point guard.
In 40mins, Seth Curry scored 26 points, had 7 assists, 4 rebounds, shot 10-14 on field goals, a perfect 3-3 from 3 points, and shot 3-3 on free throws. He was a +11 for the game.
Look at this man. So inspirational.
> Seth Curry didn't stop there. After his hot start, he collected another seven points in the second quarter, finishing the first half with 17 total, three more than his brother. Throughout the entire matchup, Seth Curry was outscoring his brother. > > Going into the fourth quarter, he had 22 points in comparison to his brother's 20. Had Seth Curry finished the game with more points than his brother, it would've marked the first time he outscored the former MVP in his career. However, a late shot in the game put Steph Curry ahead once and for all as he collected a game-high of 25 points, one more point than his brother. > > "I didn't [know he was outscoring me]," Steph Curry admitted after the Warriors defeated the 76ers. "He reminded me right after the game. I didn't know the stakes were so high on that shot. The game was over, and I was wide open."
Another great Curry performance. Tonight he was Embiid's Robin. He put up 19 points in the second half. Heβs being wasted. He literally had to neutralize Tobi's bad shooting and even then it wasn't enough. Tobias has been terrible and I canβt stand him. Morey has to make a trade. Please trade him. The Sixers canβt continue like this. This man has been costing the team games. Give Seth Curry both Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris' checks.
In a win versus the San Antonio Spurs, Seth Curry put up 23 Points, 7 Rebounds, & 7 Assists, on shooting 10-18 FG and 3/8 from 3 point land. This game was more proof that the Joel Embiid and Seth Curry Pick & Roll is overpowered. He also was a team high +30 in +/- for the game.
Look at this man. He's getting it done as a second option.

Steph Curry on where he might break the 3-point record (Phi, Ind, NYK, Bos): βYou can create a narrative for any of these next four games. Seth tomorrow. Knowing what Reggie meant to Indiana. The Garden speaks for itself. Boston, where Ray passed Reggie.β https://twitter.com/anthonyvslater/status/1469491257399468034?s=21 Where do you think Curry will accomplish this?
> What goals did you have for yourself this season? Any accolades or participating in the three-point contest? > > Curry: I donβt have any individual goals for statistics. I want to be efficient and shoot the ball at a high clip. You brought up the three-point contest. I feel like Iβve got to add one of those to the mantel to be a part of the (Curry) family. Hopefully, I can get one of those before my career is over. Steph (Curry) already has two of them. If I get the invite, Iβm going to go to as many as possible, so I can add one to the trophy case. > > ------ > > Howβve you guys weathered the storm without Embiid and Simmons at times so far?
> Curry: The way we played earlier in the season was good basketball. We shared the ball and have guys who can score all up and down our roster. Lately, we havenβt really been weathering the storm at all. We kind of got worn down with the Covid situation and the injuries. The competition has picked up a bit. Weβve got to get back to the way we were playing earlier in the season with moving the ball and getting good shots as a team and get guys back in the process. > > ----- > > Without Ben Simmons, what are the expectations you and the team have this season? > > Curry: I feel like we have enough to compete with anybody in the league. I think we showed that early in the season. Having a guy like Joel out there and the complimentary pieces we have with the attention he draws and us on the defensive end, itβs good enough to be a contender in this league. Weβve just got to get better as the season goes along and figure out who we are with what we have on the team. We should be able to compete with anybody. > > ----- > > Howβs it been dealing with the Ben Simmons situation for you and the team in the locker room? > > Curry: Honestly, itβs been pretty normal. He hasnβt really been around the team at all, so itβs not like itβs been a distraction or anything. Itβs kind of like heβs been out and not here. We know who we have on our team to start the season. Obviously, if he comes back, weβre going to integrate him. Heβs been part of the team for a long time, so it shouldnβt be that hard. > > Whatβs your view on not having Simmons so far this season? > > Curry: Itβs unfortunate. I just view it as like a guy who got a long injury. I focus on who we have on the t
... keep reading on reddit β‘There is a similar though not as big a gap in 3PA from #1 (Steph, 13.4) to #2 (Buddy, 9.8) and #2 to #50 (Khris Middleton, 6.2). And there are a few in the top 50 3PA that shoot a higher percentage than Steph but really nobody close to Steph when you consider the combination of volume and accuracy. I doubt if this surprises anyone, but the man can shoot.

Most Efficient Jump Shooters in the League:
Carmelo has really been the only big highlight for the Lakers this season, converting himself into an efficient scorer he hasnβt really been since he was a Superstar. Mills obviously a great acquisition this off-season (as was Allen). And the Curry brothers doing what they do.
I feel Seth Curry is a very solid offensive player and is great for Philly and Dell was 6th man of the year so I was curious.
Casually watching tonightβs Philly v. Boston Game. Sethβs handle is smooth, heβs crafty with bank shots/general floor movements to create space, and is such a lethal shooter once heβs in the zone. Watching him reminds me how much fun he was to watch during his Blazer days (esp. in 2019). Kinda bummed we let him go but I know the idea was to give Ant more meaningful minutes, plus Dame and CJ are so ball dominant it didnβt make sense to carry his contract. Even though heβs a Sixer, Iβm still happily rooting for him. Anyone else feel that way?
Joel Embiid had 41 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 blocks. (14-27 FG) (12-14 FT)
Seth Curry had 26 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds. (10-14 FG) (3-3 3PT)
Tobias Harris had 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists (7-13 FG) (3-3 3PT) (8-10 FT)
The rest of the Starters: 15 points.
The Bench: 1 point.
Amazing. We a have new Big Three in the East. (^(hyperbolic))
Edit: It's the most points by a trio this season.
Now there are obviously been trades that are worse. First Harden trade. Celtics and Nets trade. Second Harden trade etc. but this trade I think is low-key really bad. Even worse than some off-balanced draft pick trades since often times those picks usually don't amount to anything anyway.
This was obviously a great trade for the Sixers, but I really don't know what the Mavs were thinking. The Mavs had a historically good offense in 2019-20, and Luka like Lebron plays well when you surround him with Shooters. Seth is a sharpshooter from three who is also efficient from the midrange and can make fancy layups, while also being a serviceable distributor. To top it off, he's on a very friendly contract.
But the Mavs traded him away since they thought J-Rich would be able to improve their defense. To me, you don't trade away offense for Defense in the NBA unless if the defensive player is at all-defense level, which J-rich is not. Also, J-Rich is pretty much a jack of all trades, master of none. He doesn't have one skill that he excels him, when you actually want your role-players to be specialists. Plus, the trade didn't really improve the Mavs defense that much, while the offense took a hit.
So is this trade low-key one of the worst trades in the past decade?
Seth Curry had his 8th game this season shooting 55% from the field. That's the most in the NBA (min. 5 FGA). At 6'2" Curry is the shortest player among the top five players in that category so far this season.

Tonight Seth Curry was the leading scorer for the Philadelphia 76ers in a win against the Orlando Magic.
He scored 24 PTS, 2 Rebounds, 2 steals, on 10/13 FG and 3/5 from the 3 point line.
So inspirational.

Convince me why Seth shouldn't be jacking up 10 threes per game and averaging 20 ppg.
I've watched a few Sixers games last season/last playoffs/this season. More often than not, when Seth has the ball, it looks like Embiid or other role players wants it back instantly even when he's open
He's an offensive piece, so why not maximize it?
Long time lurker, first time poster here...I don't know how to find the data to support my theory. But I strongly suspect that Seth Curry is one of the worst technical free throw shooters in the league (among whatever minimum threshold that makes sense). I know for sure that he has missed at least 4 this season. That is a high percentage of these shots!
Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone have a compelling theory as to why he can't hit these? This is probably just an anomaly and I don't really propose an alternative to him shooting them. But I've noticed this throughout the season and get irrationally upset whenever he misses another.

Neat i guess.
This man has been balling all year. This is his statline tonight against the Hornests.
Seth Curry vs Hornets: 23 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal with shooting (8-14 / from the field and 4-8 from the 3 point line.
He was the Sixers second leading scorer second to Embiid's 32pts. Curry is out there playing like Steph Curry lite.

His growth in practically every scoring metric highlights the strides heβs made as a scorer and proves that he is more than just a 6th man.
Living in the shadow of his brother, popular opinion hasnβt always been kind to Seth. Like when his own coach George Karl said in 2016, βI think Seth will be a combo guard, play both 1 and 2. I think usually those guys when I look at them, I see them probably trying to score a little bit too muchβ¦but he's going to be around for a couple years.β
