A list of puns related to "Seattle Pilots"
Hi all,
I'm fortunate enough to start flight training this summer. I can live anywhere within the greater Seattle area, so I'm having a hard time deciding which flight school to pick. I'm trying to optimize for cost and availability. Does anyone have suggestions?
Here are the flight schools I've researched so far from previous threads:
Rainier Flight Service - based in Renton, good for training
Galvin Flight School - expensive, and slow, but great quality
ProFlight - based in Renton, good for training
I'm planning a (virtual) flight through Seattle, but there are so many airports to choose from! What are some of the most interesting or unique airports you have flown to around Seattle?
Sorry if this has been posted before.

βSome may worry that if they move out of their RV into housing, that their RV maybe stolen, impounded or fall into greater disrepair if they accept that referral."
RV Resident #1:
βI actually love the fact that you can live in an RV,β said Jesse Hebison, who drove his 28-foot RV from Phoenix to Seattle two months ago. βI feel like they (the city ) are very accommodating to RVs.β
He has parked his camper on Utah Avenue in SoDo, where other RV drivers do the same thing. If offered, Hebison said he would not accept a spot at a safe lot.
βI really don't want to move," he said. "I like the freedom of just going here or there.β
[Hebison's FB page shows he moved to Seattle in 2016.]
RV Resident #2:
βI can't leave it,β said Neil Lampi, who is parked not that far from Hebison. βI just put $11,000 into fixing it up. I moved into it because my rent and my student loan amounted to 70 percent of my take home pay.β
[Lampi's FB page shows he is a "former field organizer for Real Change News."]
Anyone in the Seattle area looking to build time? Looking for a safety pilot to join me on my flights. I'm checked out in a 172. I'm also open to being a safety pilot for anyone that wants one or extra set of eyes in the right seat.
Moved from Silicon Valley to Seattle a couple years ago. It's time to move my airplane up too. I live about equidistant between Boeing Field and Paine Field. I've flown in and out of both of these exactly once, some years ago. I'm not at all familiar with any of the FBOs.
Which airport would you recommend for basing a small plane? Which FBO? I'll want to be tying down long term and probably join a club for access to instruction.
(I couldn't find any Seattle-based flying subs; hope this is an appropriate place.)
