A list of puns related to "Saswad"
Any suggestions on where to have breakfast on the way from Pune to Saswad - Maharashtrian and/or South Indian is good.
Thank in advance.
An extremely old temple, probably dating back to the 8th century in a small town of Saswad near Pune. The temple exterior is built like a fort.
Deities of Kal Bhairava, Lord Ganesh and Lord Hanuman are in the main sanctum sanctorum.
The pradakshina marg cuts across the courtyard where you can see a few other deities, predominantly the Navgrahas β Shani, Rahu, Ketu, etc.

Located around an hour from Pune (approximately 30 km), is an offbeat temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Built by the Yadavas, the temple is built in stones overlooking the enormous confluence (sangam) of Karha and Chameli Rivers flowing alongside. The best part of visiting the temple is that it stands alone, in nature, peacefully - no shops, no crowds, no noise - just you and the Creator with no one in between.
Best time to visit would be during the rainy season as there would be water in the rivers, otherwise they may be dry.
