Trying to bring attention to the fact that this game runs so much better when everyone in your region is asleep I.e.

It's literally like playing a different game, so smooth no rubber banding or lag of any sort.
I don't know what the deal is with ea, I know respawn is doing their best to optimize the game but the problem isn't with the game.
The problem is the servers 100%
If you don't believe me load up the game at 3am on the closest server to you and see how much smoother the game is overall. Granted people with 144 hz and above will be the ones most affected by bad servers for a multitude of reasons that will take too long to explain.
The most hilarious part is even at 160+ fps the game still feels laggy ie poor frame times and this all stems back to how overloaded the servers are during the day.
The community deserves more servers to make this game a truly competitive e sport.
What is this black rubber thing? It’s about 8” tall and is very flexible. My puppy found it in our neighborhood where there are quite a few houses being built, so it might be equipment/construction related.
The only bug that truly matters is the rubber-banding, bottlenecked server lag issue. EVERY other issue is secondary if you die to invisible minions and other registration related issues.
I don't care about the drop rates, the loot, the stupidly insane prefixes, the auction house bugs (even though the AH bugs are important), the story line, the features that could be added..
NONE of that matters compared to the server rubber-banding.. No other game I've played exhibits this type of behaviour. As far as I can see, it should be priority number one and every other concern should be secondary.

Hello! I am working on a project and was wondering if anyone has any creative ideas in helping my achieve my goal. I have a large piece of fabric that I would like to somehow attach thin spikes (they can be hard rubber or plastic, etc) evenly throughout the fabric (probably one spike every 3 inch square). Each spike would be about 2" high.
Any tips? Mods - feel free to delete if this is an inappropriate post for this subreddit.

Founds these by my plant on the side of my house. They were near the roots, buried just slightly under the ground. There is a firm rubber ball inside a thin sack. My guess is something related to mushrooms?

Rubber Banding lag in Battlefield 4. Just me or server related?
I just got BF4 and was hoping most of the issues I've heard about had been fixed. I couldn't find too much about rubber banding in the ps4 community but have seen people complaining about it on PC.
I have a pretty solid internet connection but the rubber banding lag seems to happen randomly, and I can't even drive a vehicle sometimes because it just goes back and forth so much it drives me insane.
If it happens to other players all the time I'm ok with his until they get a fix. I just want to make sure it's not something I can do to improve.

Increased network/server related Stutter and rubber banding since recent patches
I think this started after patch 1.2? Anyway, rubber banding has always been a thing in this game, but it seems to be much more frequent now. Basically, I'll be running and then suddenly teleport 10m in the direction I was moving. Kinda sucks because more often than not I'll warp into open ground and get killed instantly.
Also, there will be periods in every round, lasting maybe 30 seconds to a minute, where the game has a hitch every 5 seconds. Happens on every server and usually at the most inopportune moments (aiming down sights at enemy and such). I've checked my hardware and everything is normal, and network performance in other games is fine. Again, only started after patch 1.2.
(IB homework related) I'm trying to relate the distance a rubber band is stretched and the temperature that it changes.
Im having a lot of trouble finding any equation that seems to relate the two concepts. I know the heating has to to do with the changed entropy of the system...but other than that I'm just not sure.

Made of a hard rubber and relatively light, the sides with the symbols have a plastic cover over them. The missing horn was not originally like that, it is painted and is some sort of transformer samurai head. Found in a thriftstore in Canada, came with a few other like figures (lost)
