A list of puns related to "Rose Thorn"
I've been eyeing Commander's Quarters' take on Vito, but I have my worries that the gameplay will turn repetitive and boring, being solely about gaining/draining life. Have you played this kind of deck, or played against it? If so, how was it? Any and all input is very welcome, also with alternative budget-friendly Lifegain/-drain commanders :)
Thank you!

Not sure why I hadn't thought to be prepared for this, esp. since this is my second time DMing Death House.
Anyway, had our first session last night. Bard tries to message Thorn asking about the "monster" in the house. I decided that the house new what was going on and so had Thorn react and say to get out of his head.
Later, the same bard casts detect magic. I told the bard that he saw an aura of magic on the house but not on Rose and Thorn (my rationale was that they were part of the magical house ... plus I wanted to find a way to preserve the mystery and suspense and not have it spoiled right there before they even stepped foot in the house).
But I know I'm going to get the questions when the players they find out the deal. The players will wonder how it was that the message spell worked and detect magic didn't pick anything up on the children but they turn out to be magical projections after all.
Did I play this one right? Any advice is much appreciated.
As seen in her art, she is a Minotaur (https://leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Thorn_of_the_Rose_(Legends_of_Runeterra)
That is why she makes a stun in your hand. All minotaurs in this game are associated with stun effects (including the card Intimidating Roar). Makes me wonder if she just glares really hard.
Ya'll made me wonder if this book was good. I kept seeing people talk about it on here and was truly interested in seeing this book everyone loved. Ya'll even had acronyms for this book that everyone collectively knew when talking about recommendations. So I got the book. Then I tried to read it. Then I gave up. I don't get it!!! There are NO CONSEQUENCES FOR HER ACTIONS! She is a cold blooded murderer and she gets PAMPERED?! I know it's supposed to be a Beauty and the Beast retelling but I just can't finish this. I'm so sorry. I love yall. You guys have really offered up some truly great recommendations since I have joined this reddit but I have to dissent from the croud on this one and say ACOTAR is a DNF and a DNR. I could have stayed silent on this but I truly don't get this books hype.
Can we still be friends though?
Preamble: I am a straight male reader who is new to the romance genre, but more familiar with the fantasy genre. I offer that up as some small context from my personal tastes. After going through two Contemporary Novels, On The Island and Jane's Melody I decided to go back to my more familiar home of fantasy, and hope it would be a better outing than my last Fantasy Romance experience: Princess of Dorsa (it was). So I looked through my TBR and settled on a book I had recently found a paperback of at Goodwill, thinking it a good sign.
A Court of Thorns and Roses is the first in a series by Sarah J. Maas. I listened to the audiobook version by Jennifer Ikeda. I first want to commend the narrator of that book as doing a much better job than several of the last audiobooks I'd listened to, her voice was perfect for the characters, and never got on my nerves at any point. This is also the first full length novel written in first-person perspective that I've gone through (at least that I can recall) and while I am still not a fan of it, after a few chapters it no longer became much of an issue for me.
The entire story is told through the perspective of the protagonist named Feyre who lives with her two older sisters and crippled father, they were wealthy once, but fallen on hard times, and Feyre is now forced to hunt to provide food for her family, none of whom seem to appreciate the efforts she goes through for them.
During a hunt, she spies a deer, also being stalked by a massive white wolf. Her family will starve without the deer, so after the wolf lunges upon the deer, she slays the wolf with a black ashwood arrow. It turns out this is no mere wolf, but a Faerie in disguise, and she must now fulfill a bargain to trade a life for a life, she must go live in the magical Faerie land called Prythian for the rest of her days in exchange for the life she stole.
This is NOT A Beauty & The Beast Story. I noticed many of the negative reviews on Goodreads for this book are due to it's similarities with the classic Beauty & The Beast story. I won't say there aren't similarities, a girl captured by a powerful faerie who is enchanted by a curse (He has a masquerade mask he can never remove), yet the similarities largely end there, and going in expecting such is not likely to deliver too much.

... keep reading on reddit β‘In keeping with Real Housewives reunions, I got thinking the other day about my rose and thorn of the past year in lockdown. Iβll start, My rose - I was very lucky to keep working - a lot. Which made for a lot of jealousy towards those on furlough, but at least I got to keep busy! And it also enabled me to save up and buy my first ever home. My thorn - I think like a lot of people I just miss my friends. I used to see a lot of my friends at my second job which sadly had to close. Iβm longing for sitting in the staff room between shifts laughing and joking. But hopefully we will be back soon π€π»

I just got done testing this on the bag dummies for Last Stand and Rose Thorns and then used a couple of different targets (Agaterams, Search Bits) to test Insult to Injury (using normal attacks to keep things on the simple end for the math); the end result is that they are all multiplicative.
That matches what would be expected, as they don't add an icon to the character, but I decided to confirm it anyway.
So if you are using p/p grasta and hitting weakness, you will end up with some big multipliers, 1 mob = 2.78, 2 mobs = 3.61, 3 mobs = 4.45, 4 mobs = 5.28, and 5 mobs = 6.11 (all before accounting for other potential sources like a weapon or upgraded T3 grasta).
What I didn't test and don't recall hearing yet is if Insult to Injury triggers the same way that Joker's "1 More" passive does and gets used against all mobs for damage if one mob is weak, or if it is done on an individual basis. If anyone has tested that, please let us know.
