A list of puns related to "Robin Hood And The Monk"
Some fluff for the character that I already have established:
Siha (yes, a reference to Mass Effect) Karimi was born while her parents were traveling. They died or had to leave her behind, I haven't roughed out the details. A couple in a town nearby adopted her and around age 7, she started to seem different than most little girls. She was rebellious, stealing and running about the city creating chaos. She began to have instincts and callings that were difficult to describe to her parents but that, combined with her newfound ability of telepathy, eventually helped them reach the conclusion that she is a Kalashtar.
Her (adoptive) parents sent her to the Kalashtar monastery nearby, where she was trained and raised to fight the Dreaming Dark. At age 20, she was allowed to choose her fate: preserving Kalashtar culture within the monastery, or leaving and creating a life of her own. She chose the latter.
She now leads a caravan of misfits, constantly on the move and traveling across the lands. The majority of her group is compromised of women, banded together by their determination to find strength in a world that can be cruel to them. They take in struggling single mothers and their children, scared pregnant teenagers-- essentially anyone who could use a home and a good meal, so long as they are willing to travel and pitch in with chores.
She has a group within this caravan that she takes adventuring. They leave the caravan for a few nights, after meticulously plotting a heist on a wealthy target, and then execute it with (overall) ease. They use this money to make ends meet, to put food in tummies, and whatever is left over gets donated to the needy in whatever town they reach next.
TLDR;
My instinct was obviously Way of the Kensei for the monk subclass, but for rogue subclasses, I think flavor-wise, nearly

No doubt doge is going to $1 and beyond but we need to make buying accessible.
Daughter: Maid Marian is pretty for a cartoon.

I had a DVD of a Robin Hood movie which I lost some time ago, but the soundtrack fo the film is super memorable. This wouldn't be such a problem if I wasn't from a non-english speaking country, though. I remember the style it was animated in was very reminiscent of She-Ra/He-man and this Robin Hood had black hair, I'm pretty sure Marion was blonde, but I'm not sure of that much. There was a lot of focus on Robin Hood and Marion in particular, and I remember this specific scene where Robin Hood was climbing though Marion's window while guards were shooting arrows towards his legs that he dodged. If anyone knows the name of this specific film I would be grateful!

I am the POS and I feel a lot of guilt about it and cringe almost every evening before I fall asleep.
I just read that the guy who stars in kings man and Jamie foxx are starting a Robin Hood movie next year. The movie has supposedly been pushed back , as it was supposed to be released this year. If I had to guess they are trying to make a more realistic / action type Robin Hood. If you were making Robin Hood ,where would you take the story?
Thank you u/yuseix for The Office Quest and Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood.
Bro you're insane. Too generous and you didn't even have to. Love you!
And Happy Holidays! :)
I would like someone to convince me that Robin Hood from Disney in 1973 simply isn't the best version of Robin Hood, hands down. I have several points to prove this.
First point is the start (after the singing and credits), when we first meet Robin and John. They aren't fighting, villages aren't burning, they are just chilling in the river. They are jumped by the sherrif and what do they do? they run. This here is perhaps my strongest point, that the first scene with Robin is that he isn't fighting, but actually someone who is about living life. This sets him apart from just about every other Robin Hood which starts off with some kind of standing up to the sheriff.
Not long after that John points out that they are criminals, asking if they are the bad guys (the original, "we are the baddies?"). This is also great because it is setting up that they are not saying one is the good and the other is bad, it is pointing out that what they are doing is bad. It is a real admittance, right off the start, that they are outlaws and criminals.
Next up, we see the king and his greedy for money, and what happen? Robin and John trick the prince. They don't use weapons, they don't use a trap with 15 people to surround them. They just use their wit, and once caught they again just run. Once again showing that Robin is not into violence unless he has to.
Then we get to see Robin and how he interacts with the people, and how much they love him, once again he fools the sheriff.
It isn't until the tournament that the fighting actually happens, and that is when they are trying to kill him. Even here Robin was trying to fool everyone, again avoiding violence.
This version of Robin is that of someone who values life, will run rather than fight, and helps out the poor. He is kind and loved by all.
Every other version of Robin that I know of, he is either violent, or resorts to violence, or standing up to the bad guy. This Robin is constantly in disguise, fooling people. He is among the people at all times but no one knows.
Can you name me a better Robin Hood? I think not.
(I could go on more, but I wanted to highlight the main points that set him apart from other Robins)
Aside from Robin, it is a great movie with a great soundtrack, good acting, and everything else that makes it a timeless classic.
