What has this man been up to recently?? Because I'm wearing my killjoy conspiracy theory mask and I'm just wondering whether or not he may be involved with the recording of the (possible) new album. I was skimming through The True Lives of MCR book and he was heavily involved with TBP and Danger Days (admittedly due to CW not being up the bands standard (but still)) and he is a person who's close to the band who knows how to work with the boys productively. What does everyone think? Is there any info on him as of currently possibly working with MCR??

I understand that they wanted to do it themselves but Rob always seems to bring the best out of the band.
I remember seeing an interview where Billie Joe said that a lot of apologies were made that led to Cavallo producing Uno Dos and Tre.
That first 26 second bass line is probably the best bass line in pop punk history. But later guitar tone is way too fuzzy. I know it’s only 1994 when they recorded and recoding was not advanced and they were not rich enough get best equips. Just a thought :)
In 1994 Green Day released dookie , their sound quality hugely improved because they signed Warner and got one of the best producer Rob Cavallo.
Edited : I realize they re-records in next album . But they change the intro and I still prefer the original one. Plus.the second version still has very fuzzy guitar tone .
TLDR: Hey, guys. I like Green Day. A lot. And as someone who loves to write, but works in finance, I don’t get much of an opportunity to be creative with my writing these days. I decided to try something new and do a write-up of each Green Day album as if I’m listening to it for the first time. Next up: The group’s third studio album, Dookie. Enter Rob Cavallo, producer extraordinaire and a man who doesn’t get enough love and credit for Green Day’s success. After the band had achieved underground fame with 1991’s Kerplunk, Billie Joe and crew were ready to take the next step and Cavallo was the perfect guy to help them get there. He was able to work with the band to capture that signature Green Day sound and helped guide them to international success via one of the greatest and most significant albums released in the history of rock music.

- Burnout 7 – The first five seconds of Burnout might be the most refreshing five seconds of Green Day’s discography. The crisp, full sounding drums along with Mike’s popping bass combined with that signature Dookie guitar crunch and Billie Joe’s snarl declaring he “don’t care no more” sums up this album beautifully. Well, besides the fact that Billie Joe really, really, really, really cares. Gone are the days of playing dingy night clubs breaking fire code while sweaty, sensitive teenagers slam into each other in mosh pits and here are the days of the band playing big stadiums breaking fire code while sweaty, sensitive teenagers slam into each other in mosh pits. He mixed Dookie, Insonmiac and Good riddance. He was the right hand man for Rob Cavallo.
Outside green day works, he also produced multiple hit CDs for blink, Sum41, bad reglition, goo goo dolls and so on.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
