A list of puns related to "Richard Rush"
Correct me If Iβm wrong, but Rory said she had to go to London when she left the wake early. However, even if she had a steady job or was working with that crazy lady at the time, Iβm sure they wouldβve allowed her to spend time and grieve with her family. So now Iβm thinking she really just left the wake In a rush to go bang Logan cuz his fiancΓ© wasnβt in town. This just hit me during my rewatch today and Rory is officially my least favorite character.
Welcome to Fusion Friday for April 16th, 2021. You're welcome for this show not being titled "Rush Hour." This Friday, we're celebrating writer/director Richard Rush, who passed away last week just seven days before his 92nd birthday. One of the first students of UCLA's film program, Rush quickly went from making ads to low-budget features in the '60s, inspired by French new wave director Truffaut. Rush's works went beyond the more simple exploitation of the era, they're considered integral to American new wave cinema, in kind Truffaut was quoted as naming Rush as his favorite American director, due to our second film tonight, The Stunt Man, a passion project taking years to make which also earned Rush an Oscar nomination for best director. Our first film tonight is a trendsetter in its own right, one of the earliest buddy cop films on record, with James Caan and Alan Arkin at each other's throats as a mismatched pair of San Francisco cops.
We'll be starting at 8:00pm Central.
Freebie and the Bean (1974 run 1:53:09)
