A list of puns related to "Rebecca Howe"
First time watching cheers, currently on season 10 and what's there to like? She's annoying and painfully unfunny. I don't even think Kirstie Alley is particularly good at playing the role. I hate the role, I hate how accepting the crew is of her, and I hate her storyline. Pretty much every time she speaks I'm upset it isn't somebody else. Anyone else. Is this normal?
She seemed to have gotten worse near the end of the series and even when she announced her marriage to Don Santry she slipped right back into a state of crying. She also has issues of self-esteem which if I recall correctly is a symptom of depression.
I made note of every song that I recognized or could βShazamβ during my latest rewatch so I could create a Ted Lasso specific playlist. Here it is for everyone who might be interested! if I did miss anything, please let me know!

I've recently replayed the original PS3 version of season 2, and I've noticed a few things in this season that I haven't before. This is my third playthrough, and I decided to play an almost completely silent Clementine, and as is the case with a lot of Telltale games, this both highlights the intended themes of the games, and exacerbates their problems. One thing I noticed, however, is the prevalence of abusive or harmful parents throughout the game, and how the game succeeds and fails in portraying this.
The first harmful parent we see in the games is Christa. I don't want to use the word "abusive" with her, specifically because how she treats Clementine is not malicious, though as the season progresses, we'll see that being well-meaning really doesn't help. Christa's depression after Omid's death clearly has an effect on Clem, and we also see the first glimpse of Clem being forced the parent the adults around her, as Clem attempts to get Christa to communicate with her. It's a small moment, but as everyone jokes about on this sub, Clem eventually becomes responsible for every adult character's feelings at least once, so I feel this moment is deliberate. I also feel that Christa going missing after bandit attack is the first major blunder of the season, as Christa and her depression would have helped to illustrate the points I think Telltale were trying to make as the game went on. Instead of having to goad Sarah to escape the trailer, a character who was written entirely to be a burden on the group, why not have Christa, an established character also facing mental health issues, whose reason for being resigned to her fate holds more emotional weight on both Clementine and the player?
After this comes the first example of what could be called straight-up abusive parenting, and also another failure. Pete is a well-liked character on this sub, but the way he treats Nick only becomes more disturbing the more I play the game. Pete is not a bad person, but he seemingly badgers Nick constantly, yelling at him and criticizing him constantly, and if you ask me, this is part of why Nick acts so rashly. He's an adult, and needs to take responsibility for his mistakes, but getting attacked whenever he makes one has obviously hurt him. Pete has a line about having to play a role, and it was actually this line that inspired this analysis I have, because it was a deliberate piece of foreshadowing that I feel new players may not have cottoned on to. Pete, in the con

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

Hi everybody! So I gave myself a reading challenge based off the 50 states: For each state I'll be reading a work by an author born in said state, a poet (all native Americans poets. I couldn't find poets for a few states tho so I instead went with a native american historical nonfiction for the states I couldn't find), a fiction, a nonfiction, a historical Nonfiction, and a young adult novel. So in total I'll be reading 6 books for each state. It took me a good while to find all the books I wanted for each category but I've finally done it!! That being said, I had the thought that it might be fun to get another category going- suggestions or favorites from everybody on here. So would everybody give me their suggestions of their favorite books set in each state, or just books that you think would fit perfect with this challenge, please and thank you!! I added my list below. It's a long one!

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
