A list of puns related to "Re1 Silencing Transcription Factor"
If I have an enhancer for a given gene, but I don't know the transcription factor(s) that bind to it, what's the best way to experimentally identify the TF?
I have identified a bunch of sites for the ChIPseq of a transcription factor that are enriched after ligand binding compared to no ligand and I wanted to see are these sites enriched for known TF binding site family. What would be a tool to do this?
Do you know of any database to download transcription factors for breast cancer and transcription factors for human beings?
Hi. This might be a question more appropriate to a bioinformatics subreddit but I'm a biochemist so maybe some of you guys can help.
My PI has asked me to to see if this promoter of interest has any predicted recognition sequences for two regulatory proteins of interest.
Is there an online prediction tool or database where I can input the promoter region's sequence along with the proteins of interest and see if the proteins can recognize that promoter region?
I've tried looking for transcription factor binding site (TFBS) prediction tools but none of them allow me to input my proteins and see if they bind to this specific promoter region.
Thanks for any help!
