Im thinking of moving from Bangkok to either Pattaya (Jomtien/Sattahip) or Rayong to get away from the city noise and try to rehabilitate myself. If I head that way, it will be with all my bags in a taxi (and expensive) so I want to make sure the roads are open. Are there any road blocks due to COVID at this time? Thought about stopping in Jomtien for a bit, then heading to Rayong in a few days.

Yesterday, my family in BKK contacted me; the schools started to ask if their children wish to be vaccinated and, if yes, which vaccine?
They can select between Pfizer and Sinopharm. Vaccination starts around the beginning of October.
Today, the question came for my children, a school in Rayong, only Pfizer. (You can only choose between yes or no for vaccination).
Vaccination will start half of October.
I just tried to buy some beer from the 7-11 here in the centre of Rayong. Obviously it was after 5pm as thatβs the regulation, but the lady said I couldnβt buy it.
As far as Iβm aware there isnβt an outright ban on the sale of alcohol at the moment. Can anyone shed some light on this? ππ»

The school temporarily closing in Buriram is due to a parent of a student recently having travelled to Rayong (a professor in Rayong). The professor met with a student at the Rayong mall.
UPDATE: Now a school is closing in samut prakhan (credit @Richard Barrow). https://www.komchadluek.net/news/regional/437021 This is due to one of the students having been to a place that an infected person also went to.
