A list of puns related to "Product Configuration"
Hello.
I am starting on my new job next month. They make supermarket display cases.
There are repeating elements such as trays(shelves), shelf holders, beams etc... the small model has one column of shelves, the other one has 2 and so on.... also the sheet metal parts are the same in profile they just get longer...
My question is what is the best way to model these cases? I have to generate the flat patterns for cnc punching and laser, bend tables, drawings, work instructions, assembly instructions etc...
Until now I have modeled in this way: made one assembly, than copied it and changed the names of all the parts and change the size of each part... Its not a great solution but it gives me the benefit of having all the models separate and I can check them for lost references etc....
The problem is it takes to much time - and the changes are not propagated through other designs.
Now I plan on making one assembly for one series of product (so to have like 7 or 8 assemblies). And have configurations based on width and/or height. (8 ass x 2 heights x 4 widhts = 64 types ) Where maybe I can link the width of parts on a design table !?
I can then export the flat patterns, do my drawings and other documentation for each model(config) as pdf - and have it printed and distributed...
Is this a viable solution !??? What can you recomend?
P.S Happy thanksgiving, cheers
Hi everyone. Does anyone know of an equivalent Wordpress / WooCommerce of this websiteβs product option configuration? Each time you select an option, it smoothly moves down to the next set of options and so on.

I am unable to setup the following options correctly.
I have a set of clothing (top and bottom): 4 different colours each, 3 different sizes and different quantities.
I want to sell them in such a way that the customer can either buy the set or buy the top and bottom separately. This way the stock can be accounted properly.
Additional, the price of the set is discounted compared to the separate items.
How do I implement the above scenario when setting up the product.
Cheers.

Hi there, i imported 4000+ products to my magento2 store, but i want to add product configurations to some of them. I'm starting a webshop in the vape/e-cigarette brance, this particular question applies to my E-liquids category. I want to add a product configuration to this particular category, so that my customers can select the nicotine level they want. How do i do this in bulk? I don't want to do it manual for 1600+ products haha. Somebody knows the trick?
I.e. can a double bond literally only form given a planar or periplanar configuration, or is the idea just that any p-orbital overlap less then planar or periplanar is so much less favorable that it simply wont exist in legitimate concentration at equilibrium?
I am looking to revamp my home internet setup while adding a wifi bridge to two outbuildings. I am currently using a Linksys router with a couple of older routers set up as access points. I have been studying the Ubiquiti product lineup and it is daunting. I am considering this hardware for my setup.
A UniFi Dream Machine for my main house router with a small inexpensive switch connected to that for my printers and wired devices.
I would then add a Unifi UAP-AC-M to my patio for outside coverage.
I have two building about 300 ft from the house, one south and one west of the patio. I was thinking of placing a NanoStation loco 5AC at each building to act as a bridge and attach cheap Netgear or Linksys wireless router to each once to service the wifi needs there. Will the NonoStatioins bridge to the UAP-AC-M access point?
Will this work, or is there a better alternative?
Thanks for any help or ideas.
We're predominantly apparel, so 99% of our products only have "size" and "color" variants. In our current system, these are just lists on single products (we don't have the ability to store unique SKUs, costs, etc., per variant, which is of course awful).
Any other variants will be setup after we determine how we're going to configure, import, etc., the size and color variants. (We're not concerned with those right now)
Waiting to hear back from NS as we do our implementation process, but as I'm utilizing NS APIs to keep an external system in sync with NS, I'm trying to take the bull by the horns here and come to the table with as much info as I can.
Are we limited to plain old Custom Lists for generating matrixes? Can we link Custom Record types? Would be nice to be able to group our colors and sizes hierarchically or something like that. Imagine > 10k color options, and sizes across shirts, pants, shoes, hats, helmets, ... We don't want 2 monolithic "Size" and "Color" custom lists that become unwieldy. With custom record types, we'd be able to use hierarchy (I believe?) to basically group these things and get control a little tighter. Any advice on this would be much appreciated, learning as much as I can as we move forward... Thanks!
I have PCSX2 running and installed but when ever I install a rom it says "product configuration missing!" I'm not good with computers but can you help me
I'm in the middle of a project integrating our Salesforce to GoFormz and we have a list of products with configurations. I'm having trouble finding the API names for the configuration fields within the products. Any help would be appreciated!
