Pretzel Rods?
Does anyone know where I can find pretzel rods (they are the thick pretzels in stick form). I have tried bulk barn, Walmart (Dartmouth crossing), Michaels and party city. I do not want the ones that are already decorated or covered. Thanks! *edited to add another place I’ve checked

Does anyone else like to lick all the salt off their pretzels and Tortilla chips and then toss it afterward?
If you’re unsure how, I’m about to teach you the “right way” to eat a pretzel rod.
First thing first, eat fresh pretzel rods. Next, get your favorite thirst quenching beverage to go with it. For me, it’s either a light beer or a Coca Cola classic.
Now for the step by step for maximum enjoyment:
- Appreciate it. Rarely is food so fun to eat as a pretzel rod.
- Put it in your mouth and do one fake cigar puff. Breath in that pretzely goodness
- Take a quick popsicle style one time to the first few inches. Enjoy that wonderful salt, but also you don’t want to eat the rest of this as just a dry chalky snack. This moistening is important.
- Here’s where it gets a little tricky. Hold the rod between your molars and bifurcate it down the middle skillfully splitting the “bottom” from the “top”. A good bite can get about one third to one half the “bottom” off at once.
- Take the top (still connected to the rest of the rod) out of your mouth. Eat the “bottom” that you split off
- Eat the top half of what your split off
- Repeat the bifurcation split bite on the second half of the rod. Eat the bottom. Eat the top.
- Eat another 2 dozen pretzel rods.

This is my friend’s post-work snack: pretzel rods, obscene amount of jalapeño mustard, and a peanut butter cookie.
A band whose gimmick is that all the instruments are based on/made of food(i.e. pretzel rods=drumsticks). Then after every concert, they break apart they instruments and equipment and sell them at high prices as souvenirs and/or snacks.
The only good pretzels are rods
Any other pretzel is in no way comparable to rod pretzels. These ones are easier and more fun to eat, have a tolerable level of saltiness, and are better for chocolate covering.
Edit: Soft Pretzels are an exception. I’m only talking about hard pretzels
