A list of puns related to "Positive Hardcore"
It goes without question that Azir is quite a weak champion right now. Even for pro play, the stats don't lie. Pro players are now second-guessing the efficiency of Azir and his playrate has greatly decreased after seeing that he just keeps losing on the world stage. Even when fully mastered, he's not offering the same late-game fantasy that he once did and is still very easily punished by mistakes that are sometimes simply out of the player's power. He could arguably use a small nudge all around, but these changes are SoloQ focused, where he's quite weak.
After One tricking him for 4 years and being on practically every point of the soloQ ladder with him, There are quite a few suggestions I could make about the Emperor to see a much higher consistency in SoloQ WITHOUT breaking him for competitive play.
The Main glaring weakness that Azir has is initial burst and CC, (outside of fully committing in melee range using your R, which is USUALLY NOT how you want to enter a fight) and that will always be the case for having obvious counterplay patterns. However, there is another weakness that many Azir players will run into, and that is HITBOX CLARITY/ACCURACY. This is what I want to touch up on more than anything else that will strengthen the performance of his gameplay from all levels of play. Please read the following and I will explain my reasoning:
-------------------------
Azir's Q: Conquering Sands - This ability has a very peculiar and unique hitbox pattern that is extremely inconsistent with every other champion in the game. When you have 2 soldiers out, they will NOT follow your cursor, but instead split into a V shape that goes in between your cursor, causing your ability to fully miss a target. Now all of us Azir OTPs are well-aware of this, and have gotten used to PURPOSELY aiming your Q fully next to your enemy character's model in order to make at least one soldier hit, but then the other soldier is STILL too far to overlap for the 25% subsequent damage. There are 2 ways that this problem can be addressed to make it a lot more clarifying and satisfying for Azir players for all levels of play, while of course having the LEAST amount of impact on Top-Level-Pro-play, as there are no power-creeped changes.
A: PLEASE Buff the actual Q hitbox width (which is a change I am more in favor of) to make the soldiers easier to land even when they act in a splitting pattern from where you send them out to your cursor. I was trying to loo
... keep reading on reddit β‘It's come to my conclusion at this point it's probably a losing battle to ask to keep things the same. They really have a unique and fun formula at the moment. Yesterday I convinced 3 of my friends to play it and we were tearing it up in Ranked Squads... I actually don't mind the 'dropping your life and getting it back' mechanic, I think it really puts a new spin on things and yes whilst there are definitely bugs, it's a system that's a complete blast with friends and even a decent game to play by yourself.
Needless to say, I know it's probably going to happen anyways, but I really hope they don't implement these new changes and completely rid themselves of the current game. It's genuinely going to be a game I keep for now but uninstall later if they do, I'm so sick of the "one life, one shot" mechanics of battle royale games. Every BR game does it nowadays and it's too stressful. As it stands now, The Cycle is quite laid back because if you make a mistake in a fight then you just respawn, grind a little bit and buy yourself equipment to be able to go back into the fight to get your life back. Giving you a 2nd chance... Which as someone who's not Shroud, is nice to have. My aim isn't perfect and I'd hate to have to requeue for a new game just because I died once. I feel like it would go from a PvEvP game to just a PvP game, why bother with objectives when the good players can just run around and kill all the enemy teams...
So yeah, long story short; I really love the formula they have at the moment. Please don't change it and just improve upon it.
Update: The more I play this game, the sadder I get they're taking it all away.. :(
I'm having a real hard time finding current hardcore bands that are uplifting and inspirational in the way Champion, Betrayed, In My Eyes, and especially With Honor did. Where did the finger pointing and yelling "GO!" go?
This genre was pretty consistent from the mid 80s to well past 2010 with only a short lull in the mid 90s. At any given time there were hundreds of bands with the same sound, and there was always a handful of very quality positive bands at the forefront of hardcore. Now, I find only a few here and there, mostly old dudes or bands from outside North America, and very few of either that have much traction. I'm just weird to me that there are so few inspired kids out there trying to fill the shoes of Champion and the like.
But I'm open to the thought that maybe I've just somehow missed a bunch?
I love the somewhat depressing yet positive message of these songs and was wondering if there were any other sorority noise songs with this same feel to it. I listened to some other of there songs but they seem to be mostly just depressing and whatnot (which isnβt personally what Iβm into anymore) so I was hoping some fans could advise me some songs by them that fit the type Iβm into. Any help is appreciated :)
So, I listen to hardcore punk on a daily basis. In fact, as of now, it's the only music I listen to, with a few exceptions here and there. I was thinking about the raw energy, violence, aggression, and hatred in the beat of the songs, the vocals, the way the instruments are played, to create this dark, miserable, enraged atmosphere. This exists alongside often anarchist, left-wing lyrics, themes, and creative expressions.
I was watching this video of one of Pg. 99's shows, where you had violent, pain inflicted screaming, really masculine dudes shredding guitar chords, and an almost entirely male audience going wild, cheering and rocking out. At one point, one of the band members got up to announce something, that the organisations the band worked with, while on tour, performing concerts, were grassroots platforms fighting for social justice, wishing to restore justice for marginalised demographics. And, I thought, "This is really cool."
I didn't expect such a political message in a scene one, if not familiar with hardcore, and punk in general, would expect to be very right-wing dominated, infested with authoritarian, inegalitarian, and misogynistic themes. However, I was pleasantly surprised, the whole hardcore scene, in whichever state, restoring my faith in humanity a little. Despite being incredibly masculine individuals, playing really intense, violent, angry music, their emotions were conducted to spread messages of peace, solidarity, and equality, as opposed to punching down on already oppressed, discriminated against peoples.
I think this is, honestly, an extremely good example of masculinity, where the big, angry, tough guy utilises his strength and intimating looks to be aggressively nice to others, to lift hurt people up, as opposed to pushing them even further down. The band members of Pg. 99 are all really cool people, who see their music as creative self-expression, as a release from the chains of capitalism and authority, where they're capable of relaxing, of being themselves, while having others share such an experience, such a sensibility.
Punk has always rocked against racism, fascism, terrible right-wing politics and states, and so on, throughout its historical course. I feel this is such a great expression of masculine energy, and I hope more are able to enjoy it.
Hey guys, Iβm trying to adopt a more positive outlook on life and Iβm looking for new music to go along with this new mindset. Was wondering if I could please get a few recommendations of positive themed hardcore bands/songs, that arenβt youth crew.
Some of my favourites are: Trail of Lies Art of War - King Nine I will be heard - Hatebreed Counter - Foundation (cover) Jail - Trapped Under Ice Survival - Incendiary Pretty Low - Expire Overcome - Terror
So I recently started playing Hard-core and the Trading experience has been so much different from soft-core.
Not in a way that people react faster or anything.
It's just that every time I trade something people always say "Stay Safe" and every goddamn time it puts a smile on my face.
So I just wanted to thank the people that do that, you are the most beautiful humans I can imagine.
Met another Redditer (/u//tranm46) a few days ago and we just finished our first collaboration! Wanted to share it with you lovely people.
I guess you'd call it post-hardcore or metalcore? I don't know (so please correct me).
Hope you like it!

I say gaming because tbh ive never had other hobbies besides it. Also its gotten so much more apparent since i started using the internet and going on forums. Didnt really experience gatekeeping assholes till late high school,
Maybe the person that sucks plays for like 40 hours a week but are just not that good, or cant get good cause they work a job, kids, etc.
Or the gamer who doesnt have anything going on in their life and have time to git gud vs the player whos naturally adept at games and plays for a few hours at a time but still reks his opposition.
I try to stay away from online communities of my favorite games because of the git gud mentality, but do you have to be amazing at a game to be considered a βtrue gamer?β Is it the hours you put in? Is it the kinds of games you play?
Hi all, your friendly neighborhood skeptic here ;)
For those who don't know me, i'm a skeptic and over the years i've made quite a few controvertial posts in this sub. I'm also a "goon", who some people think we are somehow capable of bringing SC and CIG to their knees with our jokes about CIG and cat pics. Quail mortals! :D
So, why this thread? What is it going to contribute?
Well, i recently made a thread about rule 3 and people throwing around insults with abandon, especially the word troll. One common point of cough feedback, was that if i don't want to be seen as a troll, stop being so negative. Well, i am very skeptical about the project, but they kind of have a point. Just because i am a skeptic, its not like there aren't things i do like about this project.
At the end of the day, if CIG release a product i like the look of, then hell, i'll most likely get it, another space game is always fun.
Also, for those who have followed my posts or have been watching the SC thread on SA, i've intimated that i was going to do a thread that would melt the minds of a few people around here, and this is it! Those who downvote everything i say are going to be in a bit of a quandry i suspect.... a skeptic writing something positive? Error! Error! Malfunction! Does not compute! :D
If I don't mention a specific aspect of the game, its either because i have nothing special to say about it, or i don't like it, or just forgot about it. Feel free to ask my opinion about anything i have missed, but to avoid dragging negativity into this thread, if you ask me about something i don't like, i'll just respond with "pass" or something like that.
Its also worth noting that most of my issues with the game mainly don't come from the game itself, they relate to CIG/CR, so as long as we steer clear of discussing CIG/CR, things should be peachy ;) I'll give comments relating to that a hard pass in this thread.
So, on with the post!
Graphics
Its the obvious place to start for two reasons. CryEngine was designed for good graphics and Chris is wanting the graphics to be top notch. Its clear the devs have done a lot of good work in this area, putting a lot of effort into making things look very detailed and with polish. Things like the shield effect are very nice and so are many animations. Textures are usually very good.
Locations
Ok, i don't go all lala over Coruscant, sorry Arccorp, but its a good achievement. It needs some work, but its a good start. If they
... keep reading on reddit β‘Yeah, I know it's corny and lame, but sometimes I wish there was more bands like Go It Alone, Champion, Set It Straight, xLooking Forwardx and what not. In a scene full of negative xtuffguyx chugcore (which I love, don't get me wrong!) sometimes you just need something positive ya know? Anyone else feel this way? What are your favourite bands of this style?
Stay posi!
Curious about bands kinda similar to Youth Crew. Just looking for positive outlook with hard music. Already listen to GB, Youth of Today.
Enough with all the βthis band sucksβ and βthat record sucks.β What bands/records/etc do you like that others donβt.
Relatively new to the genre, but Iβve found out I prefer somewhat upbeat and positive hardcore. Can you guys hmu with some good PMA or Christcore acts?
Bands like 7 seconds , Good Clean Fun , Kid Dynamite , Gorilla Biscuits , World Be Free , Uniform Choice , Truth Throught Fight , Sick Of It All , The First Step , Mindset , Insist , Have Heart , Bane
So here is my record post patch, 5x D1 titles, 1 D1 stay, 2X d1 relegations (i played one season at my parent's they had a bad connection, the other one I played way too tired!), 1 D2 title, 1 online draft win (4 in a row)
I also won 4 straight D1 titles, which i have never done before, the patch was great for my playstyle. (Then I got relegated yesterday, I got too greedy and i was playing tired, i did not run my gameplan like I usually do, i was playing in autopilot ughhhh :S )
First things first, having a stacked team helped, but the key is to have two fast CM's and they must have a high stamina (I struggle with modric sometimes because of this)
Also the CB's... at least 65 pace and you should be ok. Lets talk tactics - Just go default but change defense to 40-60-40 cover
Player instructions: - Fullbacks and CM's stay back - Wingers and ST get in behind - Everything else default.
Defending:
So after the patch it's harder to do high pressure, and it's much easier to get caught on the counter, but with these tactics the back four will be deep enough to not get caught and you'll do decent pressure.
Be aware, this formation is harder to defend with, since you don't have any CDM'S, you'll have to do lots of running and tracking with the CM's even while sitting deep.
During build up play, use this rule of thumb, man the closest player to the ball, avoid using your back four (trust them), block passing lane first, obvious route forward second, and press/tackle third when you lure the player to you.
If the ball passes your midfield line, man a defender, but try to do the same as above while keeping in line with your three buddies. When the ball is in your penalty box all bets are off, keep calm and use A or LT to block the obvious shot to goal.
Attacking:
β’ on build up, when possible move the ball up the pitch with your fullbacks, don't sprint too much, lure the opposing fullback to mark you and wait for the winger to make a run forward.
β’ don't be affraid to back pass, if the path forward or to the wingers is blocked, try switching the play to the other side (from fullback to fullback) great way to release pressure.
β’ your objective on build up has to be your ST and CAM (unless you had enough space to advance with the winger). Chance creation.
β’ If you are on the wings, mix it up, don't try to do the same move over and over, if you fail with a dribble/skill on the next posesion do it differently, most players will expect you to do the sam

Solved! With the assistance of u/blazinnathan

If u want to check out some gameplay itβs DonDonnelly2005 on twitch. Mods donβt take this down because Iβm not promoting I just really need help. Thanks !
