Hey guys! First time posting in this subreddit, here are the photos for the things I have! https://imgur.com/a/dMHBaLw
My priority is that I would like to trade all three at once for one of the games in the title in CIB condition. Although I am always open to see what you are willing to trade as long as it matches my value. Thanks for looking!

First off, I'm hyped that Pokémon is in the top 50. It kinda feels as though the franchise has lost all relevance over the past few years, even with Pokémon Go bringing things back a bit
Obv it's all subjective, and I get the appeal of Yellow as a complete Gen 1 experience. But if they want to rate these kinds of games on their importance to certain franchises, rather than actually how good they were (as a lot of these lists tend to do), then, for me, Gold and Silver should have been there instead
Following up from the illustrious first generation, which took the entire world by storm and changed consumer merchandising forever, Gold and Silver could have been a potentially fatal banana skin for the franchise - but it wasn't. This was the 'difficult second album' that was even better than the first
If it had flopped, Pokémon as a phenomenon could (and maybe would) have died then and there. But Gold and Silver introduced so many now-essential concepts to the franchise that it was almost like a new franchise. Breeding and genders, time and time-based events, hold items, two new types, SHINY POKEMON
Gen 1, for all its game-changing-ness, was badly coded and, by comparison, quite bare in terms of features, though it was by no means boring
I know a lot of people will also say 'well Gen 3 was the best tbh', or 'actually Black and White 2, or even HGSS were the peak of the franchise' (and I'd agree with the latter), but for sheer importance and the experience itself, I think Gen 2 was way better than the first Gen. I mean, you get to battle the protagonist from the previous game at the end, how is that not a great moment in gaming history?
I dunno, maybe I'm just bumhurt that only Yellow features in this list, I'd have loved both to fly the flag for Pokémon here. Other Gens have their perks too and I'd love to hear your impassioned speeches for/against any of the Pokémon games here :)
Thanks for reading!
#On this day (September 12) in Nintendo history...
#####Releases
Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition was released in 1998 for the Game Boy in Japan. In this role-playing game, developed by Game Freak, trainers return to Kanto for even more fun and adventure. Pikachu actually follows you around throughout your journey! The graphics for Pokémon Yellow are updated slightly from Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue. Pokémon Yellow also introduces challenges and battle modes that let you compete in exciting ways. There are even great Pokémon minigames to play, such as Surfing Pikachu!
Pokémon HeartGold was released in 2009 for the Nintendo DS in Japan. In this role-playing game, developed by Game Freak, prepare for an exhilarating adventure! Play as a boy or a girl trainer and battle your way through the Johto region with your Pokémon in order to become the Champion! Start your quest in New Bark Town and answer the call of the local Pokémon professor. He'll set you on an epic journey where you'll learn about the sinister Team Rocket, who cause all sorts of trouble for the Pokémon.
Pokémon SoulSilver was released in 2009 for the Nintendo DS in Japan. In this role-playing game, developed by Game Freak, Team Rocket was defeated in Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen, but has now reassembled once more in the Johto region. What are they really up to? There's more to this shady crew than meets the eye... Keep your Pokémon by your side with the brand new Pokéwalker accessory! The Pokéwalker is included with your game and will count the steps you make during your day.
What are you favourite memories of these games? How do you think they hold up today? Hash it out in the comments.

I took on Pokemon Yellow for my very first Pokémon challenge. I've seen people beat Pokémon Yellow without evolving and without catching, but I've never seen both happen at the same time. So I figured I'd give it a go myself. How'd I do? I made a lot of gameplay (and recording) mistakes, so I'm open to criticism so my next run goes better.

Notes: I felt like since I was playing Yellow I was obligated to fully use pikachu lol. Even though it would be smarter to wait for later games so I can use Raichu. For those that don’t know the pikachu starter in Yellow wont evolve at all. Starmie swept all 4 E4 Members with a one shot on literally every Pokémon lol. Rival was a bit harder and he took down Raticate. We have reached our first checkpoint! Now on to Gen 2!
