The recent update seems to have added a lot more text to Pearl and Marina's stage dialogue, and Marina's giving off a much less hostile image now.
Before, it felt like she was insulting Pearl for every little thing, be it her singing, stature, or battling skills. Now? Marina talks about how she wants to protect her precious Pearlie, and actually advises against Pearl saying something embarassing about herself.
Maybe the devs saw people thinking "Marina is just Marie 2" and decided to alter her dialogue a bit to better reflect the reserved and kind girl the JP dialogue depicts?

You see, Pearl don't always act like this when she lose. She was obviously giving a hint for the last splatfest (duh), but there's something fishy going on. Marina told Pearl that they'll always have each other's backs, but this time Pearl don't have her cheerful MCPrincess personality anymore, instead she just seemed really pissed at Marina. And did you ever noticed that Pearl and Marina was based off the two rappers Biggie Smalls and 2Pac? They went straight from friends to rivals. ^(Coinkcidence?)

And, if you think about it, the last splatfest may decide the main storyline of Splatoon 3. I'm pretty sure Off the Hook might take a break from their career and then somehow reunite (like the Squid Sisters). As many of us has discussed, this might have something to do with the singleplayer campaign of Sploon3, along with the themes of "Chaos" and "Order". Aside from that, what do you think?

So I recently got a switch again, reset my amiibos from my last switch onto my current one and attempted to unlock their outfits. I was told that saving your load out with their head gear was the way to unlock the rest of it but when I rescanned them they didn’t give me anything. Am I doing something wrong or?
The insistence of the game to make me sit through the intro and press ‘A’ at the end of every sentence is baffling. Especially when the Current stages are immediately obvious when you’re in the lobby. Gahhh!
