Hey guys, I'm just getting into the world of foraging after many years of cooking, gardening, and running through the woods of New England and picking berries and fiddleheads in my youth.
I'm currently living in the St. Augustine area and I'm trying to find more resources on plant identification and foraging seasons in my area! It seems like FL is ~notoriously~ hard for foragers, but I'd love to get back into it if only for prickly pears and muscadines. Anyone with resources, or even meet up groups, etc., to help a guy out?

My wife and I are moving cross country. We previously moved cross country from North Carolina to California and found someone to drive one of our cars to California. It worked out great. We are looking for someone that would like to drive our car from the bay area in California to the Tallahassee are in Florida near the end of January. The car is a 2011 Mazda 6. In the summer does the few degree daily temp average difference really feel that much hotter? If so is it humidity or something? I'm debating whether I'd rather live in say Pensacola or either the Ft Myers/Tampa area. I'd rather live further south so I could plant more tropical plants that couldn't grow in the panhandle, but I've never been south of the panhandle. Are the summers any more unbearable than the panhandle down in that part of Florida? Any feedback would be appreciated

I am trying to find a poly-friendly therapist in Northern Florida for my fiancée - preferably someone who is accepting virtual patients as she lives over an hour away from places such as Jacksonville and Gainesville, which are likely her best bets. She doesn't necessarily need someone who focuses in poly help, but she needs someone who will not try to tell her that polyamory is wrong/evil/what-have-you and that you have to be monogamous.
