A list of puns related to "Non Strict Order"
Let S = {0, 1, 2} Does R = {(0, 0), (0, 1), (1, 1), (2, 2)} Non-Strictly order S?
I'm thinking yes because even though the set contains (0, 1) which is not anti-symmetric it does not contain (1,0) which would lead to this problem of being not anti-symmetric.
Does this sound right? Set theory has been really hard for me to grasp so im not particularly confident im my thought processes leading to this answer.
But, DAE WWE RUN A SLOPPY SHOP?!
In Christianity, if you breathe, you sin, almost every single thing someone does is bad against God, you can't even feel jealousy for a tiny fraction of a second, that alone is already a grave sin that sends you to hell, God doesn't allow even one shred of sin in Heaven, he's that perfect.
But you can see here that this is not possible to follow 100%, every Christian sins almost every time, some shrug it off because "God forgives any sin anyway, so all I need to do is pray for forgiveness and become clean easy peasy", but some others become consumed with guilty on a daily basis. If you can't serve your God perfectly, you just feel guilty and worthless all the time, and the Church even tells you that you're a massive piece of shit who deserves hell, but thankfully Jesus suffered for us on the cross, but you still a massive piece of shit and should feel bad, and if you sin, the only remedy is to serve God with more fervor.
This is very toxic, basically, you become trapped on a spiral of sin -> guilty -> submit to the religion more strongly -> sin -> repeat , how is this supposed to be a love message to make people feel better? In some cases, I agree, it indeed does that, but in some others, not so much, this is a real thing. This is a great strategy for the religion to expand its "followbase", you must make your followers feel worthless without you, and teach them that the only solution to their problems is your religion.
There are many Young Adult novels concerning or involving stritct parenting, since rebellious youth and generation gap are natural to that genre.
There are also novels telling the story of cult or religious community members whose parents are super strict due to extreme beliefs.
Are there any novels about strict parenting thatβs not in the YA genre or tells the life of a cult or religious community member? A piece of fiction (could be short stories too) that dives deep into this issue?
PS: I have no negative opinion of these two types of books. Also, we can discuss YA novels that go beyond the simple teen-parent conflict regarding this theme.
I started working at the office then boom Covid hit. So I moved apartments to get a home office and grew my work environment at home to a comfortable space with a view of the mountains. I was told throughout covid that this is the new norm. That there is a huge chance that working from home will stay. Then we got a new governor who wanted to ignore Covid. So he sent a hard deadline of returning back to the office. And now I am here 4 months after that deadline and I am more depressed, anxious, and startled (cause of a co worker slamming a can every hour, but that's another fucking story) Sadly my depression makes it so I can't just flip my depression and anxiety off when I get home so it's rubbing onto my wife. Don't get me wrong I like my job and the people I work with, including my boss, and I like our new governor other than this ignore Covid campaign that he is spouting. Anyways I'm really looking for some help and I can't ask my Mom cause she flip flops all the time and my Dad will just say suck it up.
We had a big corporate visit a week or so ago and soon after there are signs put up all around TSC that hats are no longer allowed unless you work Starbucks (which obviously still isn't open due to Remodel). Okay, I usually didn't wear a hat but I know a few that wear has daily so that's gonna be interesting. But then today I got hit with something really annoying. I always play music at a low volume from my phone and keep it in the Zebra holster while I'm doing backroom work. Never on the floor, just in the back. It's just loud enough for me to hear and not bother anyone. Some people like it and ask me what I'm listening to. All of a sudden today some TL comes up to me and says I'm not allowed to have music on. Not even a single earbud. I say okay and turn it off but she makes a point to say I should know this because it's in the orientation when I got hired. Really? C'mon now with that crap. I get it, I turned it off. Do you have to be like that about it though?
So I'm thinking corporate is just being sticklers for rules now for some reason? I mean at the time the TL approached me I did have it a bit loud so I think she was just pissed I had it loud and wanted to take it out on me cuz she's done that before for other stupid rule things. Any thoughts on this?
Copy-pasting my TLDR here since I don't know posting etiquette and want to make sure people know what the post is about: What are some things I can eat to balance out the issues of a long-term potato-based diet? Could I add skinless chicken for protein? Or tuna? Would I need a vitamin supplement? Or is there another food I could add to balance things out? Do I HAVE to boil potatoes, or could I roast them or bake them too? How do you manage to resist a craving for sweets?
And now the actual post
Hello! I am a new and possibly a throwaway account (I usually lurk on Reddit for bad DIYs and the like without actually joining) wanting to be new to this diet, and maybe use this account to keep track. I've done some basic research, but So I wanted to make a post here, with hopes of keeping myself on this track and sticking with it, hence the account. But I wanted to ask the community before I begin, as I am lost and unsure on a few things.
I'd like to disclaim that I am neurodivergent so I may have misunderstood or straight up not processed what I've taken in due to not understanding the wording, so I'm very sorry if I missed something completely obvious or got something completely wrong.
TMI stuff in case personal context is desired
I am greatly interested in starting this diet but for possibly a different reason than some of you. I understand people want to adhere strictly to the rules defined by other people, or for the sake of a cleanse or strictly weight loss, but I am a bit... well, I don't want to overshare too much but to make a long story short, I have a slight emotional dependency on food, and not the good kind. Certain textures make me gag cause of my sensitivity due to the effects of being born neurodivergent.
But I like potatoes. And I've heard a few stories of people surviving on potatoes! So I wanted to see if I can do it too. I just want to be able to--I guess try to--get better control of my eating, and I heard that after people do the reset, they can enjoy fruits and veggies in a new way. Not sure if it's being sensationalized, but it would be good to one day not gag eating a carrot. Or to at least have a new baseline I can fall back to when things get rocky.
I saw that long-term(6+ months, which is what I'm hoping to do. I'd like to lose at least 100 pounds by October of next year--I am 240lb and 5'0") diet of just potatoes is obviously bad because of deficiency of various things needed. I don't know what this stuff really means but
