A list of puns related to "Noah Carl"
LThe Western world appears to be in the midst of a βwokeβ Cultural Revolution. Historical monuments are being toppled, popular authors are being denounced for saying βsex is real,β and corporations are rushing to pledge fealty.
A question that naturally arises at the beginning of any such period of upheaval is,Β βWho will survive the purge, and who wonβt?βΒ I fear that even Charles Darwin might not be safe. Activists with a penchant for iconoclasm have set their sights not only on monarchs, imperialists and slave traders, but on scientists too. Earlier this year, University College London published the finalΒ reportΒ of itsΒ βInquiry into the History of Eugenics at UCL.βΒ Among the reportβs recommendations were that the Pearson Building, the Galton Chair and the Galton Lecture TheatreΒ βshould lose their current names as soon as possible (de-named).β The Pearson building is named after Karl Pearson, a statistician who invented many tools that are still in use today, such as Pearsonβs correlation coefficient. The other two items are named after Sir Francis Galton, a polymath who did pioneering work in statistics, psychometrics, geography and anthropology. In support of its recommendation toΒ βde-nameβΒ Pearson and Galton, the UCL report cites various statements of theirs advocating eugenics, referring toΒ βhigherβΒ andΒ βlowerβΒ races, and describing other ethnic groups in extremely crude terms. Another British scientist who has recently been targeted for defenestration is Sir Ronald Fisher, who made foundational contributions to both statistics and genetics. Like Pearson and Galton, he stands accused of supporting eugenics, and also ofΒ assertingΒ thatΒ βgroups of mankind differ in their innate capacity for intellectual and emotional development.βΒ Fisher, who died in 1962, is currently the subject of two separate petitions: one calling for a window commemorating him in a Cambridge College to beΒ removed; and one calling for a prestigious lectureship named after him to beΒ renamed. Which brings me to the subject of this article. Will Darwin survive the purge? Few if any British scientists have beenΒ commemoratedΒ as extensively as Charles Darwin. He is buried in Westminster Abbey, which is perhaps the highest honour that can be bestowed on a British subject. In a 2002 poll to find the greatest Briton of all time (which garnered more than a million votes) Darwin finished fourth. There is a College in Cambridge named after him. There is a university in Australia named after him
... keep reading on reddit β‘Okay so I restarted the entire game, obviously I planned on just focusing on Bobby, but Noah exists so how can I not. Iβm coupled up with him now and Iβm in Casa Amor, I just donβt know if I should bring Carl back
-if I bring Carl back then Iβll have somebody to be coupled up with when Noah walks out with Blair, but I canβt couple with Bobby -if I donβt bring Carl back, I might be able to couple up with Bobby, but I really do like Carl :(
Please help a girl decide Iβm stumped
Ok, so recently I replayed my whole game. (When I played before, I was partnered up with Bobby for the first 3 recouplings, then was partnered up with Noah shortly before heading off to Casa Amor). When I got to the part where you can either stick or switch, last time I choose to stay with Noah, while this time I chose to stick with Carl. Does keeping Carl / another Casa Amor boy affect the plot significantly or make Noah not want to couple up with you in the future? Thank you! :)
