Night Robe Puns

Even though Rogal acts like a brick wall at times he still loved his grandfather and cherished him despite knowing his grandfather wasn't related to him. Plus I love the idea that Rogal had a security blanket/robe he used even after joining the Imperium.

Dorn had been built to rule, built to assist in his father’s tireless ambitions, built to make the hard decisions. He had been made as a primarch, one of only twenty in the galaxy, engineered by the master architect of mankind, the archmason of genetic code.
The Imperium needs many things, but foremost it needs the ability to protect itself, to attack when necessary. That’s why I gave it twenty strong teeth in its mouth.
Attacking was a remarkably easy thing to do. Dorn’s physical prowess humbled all but twenty human beings in creation, and those twenty were his father and his nineteen brothers. In Dorn’s opinion, the real art was knowing when not to attack. His grandfather, the old Inwit sire, patriarch of the ice-hive clan, had taught him that.
Dorn had been the seventh lost son to be reclaimed. By the time his father’s forces found him, he had become a system warlord in his own right, ruling the Inwit Cluster as the head of the House of Dorn. His grandfather had been dead forty winters, but still the warlord had slept with the fur-edged robe across his body at night. His people had called him ‘emperor’ until the true meaning of that title had been demonstrated by a thousand warships in the Inwit sky.

I've been searching through seeds looking for dungeons with fun combinations of unrands, especially available early. I found some with Scarf of Shadows, Robe of Night, and Hood of the Assassin.

Here's the seeds with the item levels, with any shop price in [brackets].

I'm hoping to find one that also includes Rift, but so far (seeds 0 through 8676) I haven't been able to find any seeds with all four even if I extend my search through all of extended. I'll keep looking, but here's a few seeds with two of the above, as well as either Rift, or the Ring of Shadows.

These were all generated on version 0.27-a0-1415-g413ade4df3. I manually checked a few of these on the latest trunk earlier this evening, 0.27-a0-1434-g6f15984924, and the items I'm looking at were at the same levels.

I don't know whether scraping through seeds I haven't played is appropriate for this sub or not, but I've been having fun working on some scripts to run searches like this and wanted to share something. Let me know if you'd like to see more posts like this when I work on this project or not.

I'm planning on eventually putting together a website or local app to search through a scraped seed database, but if I was the kind of person to reliably complete projects, I probably wouldn't have spent so much time playing this game in the first place. :)

Hi all, I'm obsessed with all the long flowy night robes the girls wear. Especially the ones worn by blanche. Anyone have an idea where to buy a similar one?

Would anyone graduating this weekend be willing to lend me a robe to wear for a few pictures on Friday night? I graduated last year and my wife is graduating from the med school on Friday night. I would just want to borrow it for a couple pictures, max 15 minutes.

Just played with the robes lvl 0,and during the upgrade phase, a stumbled onto robes lvl2. I understand, that it cancels aoo from playing the asset spells like shrivelling from hand, but I wondered, how it behaved when played with events, such as read the signs, as it is investigate action.

My dad mentioned to me that he was in a music video during ‘83-‘87, and I’m trying to find it for him. He has no recollection of the song title/band, but he is pretty sure there were 4 members, and definitely sure they were all guys.

This video was definitely filmed in Toronto, as that’s where he was living at the time, and it was definitely a song in English. He says the genre was Rock. I know that is vague, but it’s the best he could do.

He also said it was filmed in a warehouse, but he never saw the final music video so he doesn’t know whether or not the warehouse is part of it, or if it’s meant to look like a dark foggy area.

It’s possible it never aired, so I know this is a long shot. But if anyone has seen this video it would be amazing to find. Thank you all so much!
