A list of puns related to "Nicotine Salt"
I used to smoke around 10-15 cigs a day years ago. I was able to stop a few times, until I was basically only a social smoker. I would also vape back in 2016-2018 but always at 3-12 mg and without nic salts.
I remember asking the guy who worked at the vape shop back in 2016 if I should start smoking nicotine salts and he said whatever you do, donβt start with the salts. And then, Juul came out of course.
I bought a juul and was addicted in a matter of days. I then got a mod device and have been vaping at 5% nic salt (3-5 refills/day) until two days ago when I quit cold turkey (which might not be the best idea, actually, am looking for alternatives)
Let me tell you something : having experienced both cigarette withdrawals as well as nic salts, the latter is way, way worse.
First, vaping is so easy but it is sooo much harder on the brain to quit when you used to chain-smoke every 5 seconds. I have the most intense cravings, I can barely stand up without my legs giving up on me. I feel like shit, everything hurts and I want to quit every 5 seconds. I have thought about vaping every fucking second since I quit. My legs are restless, I canβt concentrate. I feel like I am dying. This is so much worse than cigarette withdrawals, so much worse. If the physical symptoms arenβt gone by tomorrow, I am smoking again because this isnβt something I can handle I swear to god. Absolute torture. My head hurts so bad Iβm crying while typing this.
Edit: I am not anti-vaping. I believe replacing cigarettes with vaping does work, but only if you stick to regular nicotine and not nic salts.
Question
Hi,
Been vaping for over a decade now and while I probably should have made the switch to 0 nic a long time ago I haven't, I switched to 100% DIY about 8 years ago now and find it's a pretty cheap way that satisfies me. I usually buy 72mg/ml freebase nicotine by the 2L quantity which can last me well over a year (don't keep track too closely) but now the time is approaching to buy another largeish quantity of nicotine and of course nicotine salts are now available and the cost difference is pretty neglible.
Worth it or just stick to what I know? I mix to 7ish mg with 50/50 PG/VG and no flavourings anymore (largely find them unnecessary, vape is just a habit/nicotine is a drug).
I'm thinking about getting back to vaping, I have some raw unflavoured PG with nicotine salt dissolved in it (it's 100 mg/ml strong), which I haven't touched in almost 2 years. In my country (Hungary) you cannot buy e-juice with nicotine in regular tobacco shops so my plan is to buy a nicotine free version and add some of the nicotine PG to it. Can I use it or should I order another one online?
Just looking for suggestions since I just ran out of nic
Sorry if this seems like a stupid question - I'm very ignorant when it comes to vaping.
Very long story short, our boyfriend vapes salt nic and we're going on vacation where there's no smoking/vaping/etc on premises at all - so we're trying to find an alternative and the "anti smoking" things are the first thing that came to mind for all of us, but there doesn't seem to be much info ANYWHERE about how they would translate for a Salt Nic vaper vs a Cigarette smoker.
Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions where to find this information, or do you have any personal experience in this endeavor?
I've tried Google and Reddit searches but everything always leads back to "How to stop smoking cigarettes with gum" etc, nor did I find anything in the resources here.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!!
Title. Got probably mostly d8 Thco, itβs good. Noticed itβs as thin as my nicotine salts that I put in my pod for koko.
38M wondering if anyone has a similar experience with nicotine pouches or snus.
I've been using snus and for the last 5 years nicotine bags strong type on a daily. I'm chain snuser so I have one in most of the time.
For a few years I often feel a pressure like sensation on my chest and I often get palpitations or my heart feels fluttery, in general it makes me feel like I'm going to get a heart attack sometime soon and I can't shake this feeling that it's from the snus.
I've done all cardio checks as for last week and throughout the years and they found nothing out of the ordinary.
I'd be grateful for any advice.
Edit: I've been snusing for a total of of 16 years now..
TL;DR: 20 mg nic salts on a MTL tank (0.8 ohm, 18W) do not satisfy my nic cravings, the flavours are rather weak, and I donβt feel the menthol in the menthol nic salts. Iβm new to nic salts and MTLβpreviously using 9 mg freebase on DTL at 90W. Are the juices bad, or is there something I can do?
I have been using 9 mg freebase for a while now, but I recently bought nicotine salts at 20 mg nic/ml. I also bought the Innokin Zlide MTL tank just for nic salt use.
I vape these nic salts at 18W on a 0.8 ohm coil (18W is the max of the recommended range, 15β18W) on the Zlide (I also tried the pre-installed 1.2 coil at 13W, but I broke it, so now I use 0.8 ohm coils; I also have 1.6 ohm coils that I have not yet used), but I feel like Iβm not getting nicotine from it. If I chain vape nic salt many, many times in a row, I feel some effect, but itβs very minimal. Iβm more satisfied with freebase at 9 mg, but the problem is that I had to vape it frequently throughout the day, and I bought 20 mg nic salts specifically so that I can vape less and still satisfy my nic cravings, but that doesnβt appear to be the case for me. I have to vape these 20 mg nic salts just as frequently as my 9 mg freebases to satisfy my nicotine cravings, so Iβd rather just vape freebase at that point, which is disappointing since I really wanted to love nic salts.
Iβm wondering: am I doing something wrong? Might my nic salts be fucked up? Should I vape them at a higher wattage? I shouldnβt go past the coil recommeendation, so I canβt really vape at a higher wattage unless I use my DTL MPro 2 tank with an 0.15 ohm coil (80β110W) that I use for freebase, but everybody online, as well as the store I bought the nic salts from, has told me not to use 20 mg nic salts on a DTL/sub-ohm tank and that I should only use 20 mg nic salts on a MTL tank at low wattages.
Another problem, albeit a lesser one, is that I donβt experience any sort of cool/chill/menthol effect from βIce Mentholβ and βCherry Iceβ whatsoever, unlike with menthol freebases on my MPro 2 tank, and flavours are weak. I assume this is because Iβm vaping at 18W rather than 90W like I do with freebase, but if I canβt vape 20 mg nic salts at high wattages or DTL, what do I do?
I should also mention that my nic salts were left out in my mailbox in around β2Β°C for potentially two or three days since I didnβt get a notification that it had arrived, but people on this sub told me that it shouldnβt affect the juices (and presuma
... keep reading on reddit β‘50mg is banned from buying here in Canada. I was wondering if I buy 0 nic juice as a base and empty 50% into 2 bottles then mix another 50% of liquid (15ml juice and 15ml of 50mg salt nice juice) will that be enough to make it into a 50mg nic juice?
As title, I've 200ml of 100mg/ml juice that I use to mix with my shortfills... Where should I store it? In the fridge?
I've been using this SMOK NordX for about 2 months that the guy started me with when I told him I wanted to quit smoking (which I did). There's 0.4 ohm tank and a 0.1 tank and I've always used the 0.4. I've gone up and down in nicotine content, but I always stay with salt because I tried vaping regular nicotine a few years ago and I hated it, it was harsh and the throat hit didn't feel anything like a cigarette. This does, and that's the only reason I could stick with it enough to quit this time.
But I keep reading that you aren't supposed to sub ohm salts, even though this device is marketed as compatible with salt nicotine. And when I read people say that they're doing it, it's always like 3 or 6 mg.
I always hit it like a cigarette, I guess you call it mouth to lung
And I don't ever sit there for an extended period of time and hit it. I'll usually take between 2 and 5 hits, then set it down for 15-30 minutes.
I keep it at 25W which ends up around 3.3V (if that matters)
Is there a reason not to do this other than that it would just be too strong for some people? Because it's been perfect for me so far
I spend a lot of time hiking and I want a small easy vape to take with me. I'm currently using a squonk mech mod with freebase nicotine but was wondering if I could use a small mechanical mod like the SMPL with nicotine salts if that would work well and be a bit more discreet. I was hoping this would mean I need less juice but I'm also wondering if this will be more or less power efficient. I think I'd have to use sub ohm resistance to get the watts right but I've heard mixed messages about that and nic salt. Maybe some of you might have some suggestions?
So I have been smoking for a long time (10+ years) My last cigarette brand was Dunhill lights it had 0.7 mg Nicotine written on its pack, I used to smoke about a pack (20 cig / day).
Recently switched to vaping nic salts in a 18w koko prime vision pod system. I am confused regarding which Nicotine strength salt should I pick (based on my smoking) where I live nicsalts are only available in 25mg/ml to 50mg/ml strength. Right now I am using Daze salt series apple berries 30mg/ml ... the problem I am facing right now is that I am probably getting nic sick as I often feel like throwing up after vaping ..... Is 30 mg/ml too strong for someone who used to smoke a pack/day? What strength nicotine salt do most people use? I have already quit smoking and hopefully plan on quitting vaping gradually.
I quit vaping my small stick (rechargable) for salt nicotine for about 3 weeks ago. I did that with the help of Allen Carr book (easy way to stop smoking).
I mean I think I did that with the help of this book. It helped me quit real smoking 10 years ago successfully and I never looked back on cigarettes cause I hate them after the book (and that's a good kind of brainwash for me).
But vaping is another story... I mean I read the book, got myself last sip of that sweet juice and got rid of my stick, my juices, my vaporizers etc. But vaping is not cigarettes. It does not smell bad. You don't have bad breath. You have visible perfect health. You don't have yellow fingers or teeth. You don't mess up your lungs as with cigarettes (at least until someone proves opposite)
I never waited like half an hour or an hour to vape like I did with cigarettes back in the day. I was vaping every 2-5 minutes. Basically vaping became my second breathing lol.
Every spare minute I have now - I crave my vape stick. (thankfully every day this craving becomes less and less powerful). I yearn for having it in my hand, seeing it near me, knowing I can inhale tasty smelling vapor and feel the throat hit.
But I know and I realize that this is total shit - like what the hell I was actually inhaling glycerol, propylen glycol, nicotine and aroma stuff every day, every 1-3 minutes. Like I was on some kind of intravenous chemical dropper everyday. Like my life depends on it?
Yeah, right. I mean it looks crazy from outside of the "vaping culture". One thing is when you don't count, when you have your head in the sand and don't try to see from above. Another one knowing that you basically made those chemicals part of your body 24/7 for the last years (and I vaped for like 8 years, with periods without stick but mostly I vaped everyday, every hour, every 10 minutes).
The salt nicotine is hard AF to quit because it gives this cigarette-like effect of head-rush (or how is it called?) and also throat-hit is perfect! And it has way less vapor, which means I can ninja my vapings even in public places, making it look like I'm just looking at something in my phone or something lol.
I can vape with salt-nicotine sticks safely and my family members wont bat an eye. When I vaped huge devices I had like clouds of vapor and that raised concerns in people around me like "what the hell this doesn't look healthy lol".
It's really hard to quit vaping salt nicotine, because it was part of m
... keep reading on reddit β‘I am surprised to observe that no one mentions that nicotine benzoate would likely create benzene in the body. The article here describes the process as it happens in soft drinks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benzene_in_soft_drinks
This seems like the kind of thing the usual suspects would boom from the ivory towers about, but I suppose since benzoic acid has been so common in soft drinks, no one else seems to have brought up that nicotine benzoate should also create benzene in the presence of circulating vitamin C and ion catalysts in the bloodstream, as benzoic acids do.
I wouldn't assume this a major source of benzene, and indeed, things like standing next to a gas pump or drinking a Diet Pepsi might be a greater source of benzene, but it's odd how I can't find any mention of this after some search engine and Google Scholar queries.
The benzoate form may be the form consumers enjoy most, but in the interest of potential harm reduction, what are some nicotine pouches that aren't in the benzoate salt form?
I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites that are still selling/shipping 50 strength salt nicotine to Nova Scotia Canada. I cant seem to find anything online.
Thanks
Can I find salt nicotine vape flavours in Cyprus? If so where at? I am looking for 25 mg or 50 mg for my Caliburn AK2
