A list of puns related to "Newport High School"
Thank you all for coming, a good education opens doors to a better life. No matter where a child comes from education is the great equaliser.
Thatβs why Iβm passionate about education policy, the schools our children go to, the skills they get there β theyβre your childβs ticket to success.
In the past, our education system has failed too many children. We need to turn this around, Wales has sat by while we had reforming Education policies from luminaries such as Gove at the start of the last decade. And Welsh schools have stagnated.
We will turn this around, and unlike our political opponents we are not just promising to throw money into the same failing system. Taxes on Welsh families, from the Tories hikes to income tax, VAT or alcohol duty are a burden and we need to protect families as best we can the effects of them. That means we need to be innovative in our education policy and look at improving the sector from the bottom up.
We can make schools deliver better results by introducing basic principles of competition, transparency and allow a freedom to innovate.
Libertarians want to see Wales follow Englandβs example and introduce a sponsored academies policy where a trust takes over failing schools β many of them successful academy chains, with a track record of turning schools around.
Even for schools that are not failing, improvements can be made. In the Libertarian party we believe that the people who know best are your childrenβs head teachers not bureaucrats in local government. That is why we want to support schools who want to convert to academies if they choose to benefit from the freedom from local authority control, taking full control of their budget and making the decisions that matter for your children.
By allowing these different types of schools to exist not only will we ensure that there is the right school to bring out the best in every child. But we will also ensure that parents can vote with their feet. Schools will be forced to adapt and reform improving service.
And we will do all this while being cost conscious and careful about how we spend your money!

Im in 12th grade and i cant seem to improve my grade at maths.
I've been getting C's and i cant seem to improve i seem to understand it,do lots of exercise and get C's. If i dont study at all,and just speed read through everything before the test i still get a C.
What should I do?
Does cal newport advice of just taking notes of sample problems, trying to solve them without the notes and explaining the concepts and the solving of examples aloud work for better grades?
