A list of puns related to "New Haven County Cutters"
My fiancΓ© and I are going to be moving to Stratford in January/February, and we're probably going to be going with internet-only from Optimum, and apparently they also give you a digital antenna. I can't see it being a particularly great quality one, though, maybe I'm wrong.
I haven't tried using a digital antenna before. When we cut the cord on Long Island, we used Netflix pretty much exclusively, but I miss broadcast television so I wanted to get an antenna.
I ran a report and apparently I'll have no trouble getting WTNH (which I like since that's one of the stations I missed since I moved from Connecticut). I also want to be able to pick up New York stations, though.
I've been doing some research, but I want to hear from people already doing it. What are some good options to get CT and NY broadcast stations from Stratford? I would prefer an indoor antenna but if getting NY stations means outdoor I guess I'm open to the option.
I work in New Haven (and live in Ffld county) and I know of a couple in the area, Hong Kong and million. Gmart in Milford. Anywhere else worth noting remotely close?
Thank you!

On August 21, 1992 a couple stolling through the woods by the railroad tracks off of Oronoque Road in Milford, Conneticut discovered skeletal remains wrapped in a pink blanket, an olive drab colored blanket and two green plastic garbage bags.
It is thought that the remains belonged to a 18-25 year old Asian man, estimated to be 5'5"-5'6" and 120-130 lbs. He had straight black hair, 4"-5" in lenght. All teeth including third molars have erupted and his incisors do not have a shovel appearance.
The man was found wearing a buttoned long-sleeved shirt with logo FOREVER over left chest pocket, a Fruit of the Loom vest-type undershirt (XL 14-16), jeans with brown belt and yellow metal buckle Fruit of the Loom jockey underwear (size 30-32).
His cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Four small caliber bullets were recovered. Investigators believe the man had died 6 or more months prior to his discovery and that he was likely killed elsewhere.
His dentals and DNA are available for comparison.

Thank you for giving New Haven County John Doe a moment of your time.
Hey all. I'm looking for recommendations and positive experiences with painting contractors. Not looking for anything fancy, just a fresh coat at a fair price from responsible contractors. Thanks in advance.
Looking for bars that cater to Premier League fans itching to watch the games on Saturday mornings. I only know if Trinity in New Haven, but was wondering if there were any other spots?
Iβm struggling to find more than one boltcutters
Back in the 80s, and for about 10 years we had some of the first Wawas outside PA. By the late 90s they had all rebranded under a different name. I'm told Wawa has figured out how to better franchise and they can be found all around the east coast again. There are 3 or 4 still around under the name Krauszer's. They kept the Wawa feel for a few years, now they are mostly dens for the real hardcore lotto addicts. They carry cheap products, but still have the deli like counter for sandwiches made to order. So if your driving around Bridgeport or New Haven you might catch something that looks familiar, but just not exactly right.
Getting a very nice piece of fine art this week and I need to get it framed. Normally, Iβd go to Michaelβs, but this isnβt something Iβd trust their framing staff with.
Any framing shop recommendations? Specifically looking to stay in New Haven County, possibly Middlesex.
Life is great.
Hi neighbors,
I have a 6 cylinder 04 VW Touareg that starts, but some error messages are coming up and it's stuck in park (this is typically a battery issue but I just had AAA replace the battery a couple months ago).
Anyhow, when I had a Ford, I had my choice of two great local mechanics who treated me like family but neither really knew VWs. Last time I tried to get the Touareg fixed, I ended up using all three of my allotted AAA long distance tows to go from repair shop to repair shop and then finally to the dealer.
I am out of work due to COVID and I can't afford another dealer repair. An Independent mechanic right here in New Haven would be ideal but elsewhere in the county is fine.
Please, if you have a VW or an Audi and you know an honest mechanic with fair prices who can help me, let me know!
Many thanks!
PS:
If there are any big VW buffs listening, the error messages say:
Looking for any recommendations for lawn companies for our yard. Just want to do a cleanup and mowing but a lot of local companies online donβt seem to do basic mowing/mulching. Thanks!
