A list of puns related to "Neuman"
Ok , I'm rewatching the series and I cannot get past my hatred for lisa neuman. But what bugs me is how ridiculous Beau's attitude is towards her. She is literally evil. Planned on destroying the livelihood of 5 ranchers because she wanted to grow some dumbass crops , and then when her herd has the trich , beau says "We gotta tell her because shes a rancher just like us" . like , are you fcking serious? Can we all agree lisa neuman can go fck herself?
Neuman announced his resignation πππ no more neuman pictures
do you think neuman can explode homelanders head? do you think the shaved head girl can crush homelanders body?
If she's a supe then how come Vought isn't tracking her? They keep tracks on all of their products, don't they?
Or is Edgar behind her?
I just finished the season 2 a week ago and like everyone, was surprised that the AOC-like character appears to be a vilain. Mainly because at first, it's hard to even grasp her motives and how all of this is embedded in the overall theme of The boys: the critic of american politic.
To sum up, in the first season they heavily critisize corporate "wokness", how companies' PR use social justice issues (feminism, diversity, LGBTQ...) with the sole purpose of improving theirs brand image, it also critisizes the overly "patriotic" white evangelist christians america & basically the republican party through the character of Homelander, a character that goes as far as to create his own enemies (the terrorist supes) in the middle east.
With the character of Stormfront, season 2 tackles the issue of the alt-righter/white supremacists/nazis who infiltrate the mainstream with their rebranding as "cool edgy anti-system guys" with a tint of internet culture. With Homelander (who again represents conservatives) realizing, that using far right talking points is the best way to get popular again and that he actually (literally) fucks with Stormfront, noticing that theirs opinions are quite similar on a lot of points.
Given all of this, it's highly unlikely that the character of Victoria Neuman, likely to be the villain of season 3, would bear no symbolism in relation to today's America. My best guess is that she embodies new progressive figures (obviously AOC) but more generally the democrat party as a whole. A party that has shifted to neoliberalism since the Clinton administration, meaning that they have corporations' interest at heart before anything else.
She could be consider as much as a villain than Stormfront or Highlander, because while she isn't overtly a baddies, her being a double agent makes her even more efficient at keeping the status quo in check than anyone else. She and the democrats give people the impression that they are resisting by providing a tiny controled space in the public debate where people feel like they are scoring a few points against big corporations when actually all of this is being tightly organized by these very same corporations.
Note: I haven't read the comics.
I was spectating as a volunteer at a choir recording, the engineers were pros with a quite good(for my standards) rig: 20ish Neumann KM184 mics, Yamaha QL and CL mixers, Rio racks and D&B monitors.
Late in the session, just near the end of a quite good take of a piece , two microphones failed suddenly, which is weird because everyone was still, no one was moving cables or else.
The engineers we're quite baffled themself, blaming the phantom power, but from Dante Controller they couldn't see any report of error. (the mics later came back to life)
Unfortunately I was trying not to bother to much the engineers, so I didn't ask them about the failure. But I got to listen one time through the monitors to what they referred to as the "discharge of the capacitor", which was a strange sweeping tone from roughly 3khz down to low frequency.
Have you ever experienced such thing(also with other mics)? (I'm an EE myself so I have some hypothesis to the cause of the oscillation)
ant queens are the original von neuman probes. A leafcutter ant queen has a small sample of the special fungus that she farms tucked under her chin. a starter for the ultimate garden. but each queen is a package that can unfold into an entire civilization.

So we learned in the last episode of Season 2 that Victoria is the headpopper. We also learn throughout the series that discovering your power for the first time can cause devastating consequences, such as Annie blinding a doctor or Lamplighter burning down his childhood home. With that in mind, what was it like for Victoria when she first used her powers? Who did she pop? Her parents? A family pet? Some random neighbor? How many people died while she learned to control her power?
Hi,
I know someone who recently acquired militaria that belonged to Neuman Harrison Rench, and we want to find out more on his life. Could someone clip this obituary for me? Thank you.
So last night I was listening to NPR in the car and It was Fresh Air. And Terry Gross is interviewing Elizabeth Neuman. She was talking about Jan 6 and militias and the Trump Presidency and went on to speculate about how and why the National Guard wasn't immediately at the Capitol. (She claims sheβs not being conspiratorial).
>βBut I'm guessing that the people around the president were careful to keep the president himself out of whatever they were planning on January 6. But I suspect we're likely to see some connection points between those groups that I just referenced - the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers. That coordination that was happening in the weeks leading up to January 6, I find it really hard to believe that there wasn't also connection points with people around the president.
>So I think it's important for us to find out and understand how coordinated this really was. I have - I still have very - I'm very concerned and very - I think there are a lot of outstanding questions about why it took so long for the National Guard to respond. I really don't want the story to be that our government was actually - that there were political appointees actually, you know, looking to see if the president could declare martial law if things got out of hand enough. I really don't want that to be the answer. But, you know, there's something that is just off about the timeline and the delays. And we need that question answered. And if, in fact, there was a nefariousness to it, not just a bad judgment call, those individuals need to be prosecuted and held accountable.β
I found this completely conspiratorial for numerous reasons. 1. When the riots began in Minneapolis is took more than 24 hours and at least 2 nights to get any kind of presence by the National Guard. And 3 days before their presence was able to get organized and actually help. 2. While I realize potentially there may be more resources in DC, it doesn't surprise me that there wasnβt a large force planned to deal with a bunch of angry Dads in jean jackets.
So then at the End of the Interview theres a tag about how sheβs working to fight political conspiracy theories.
>βElizabeth Neumann served as assistant secretary of Homeland Security for counterterrorism and threat reduction in the Trump administration. She quit last April and is now the co-director of the Republican Accountability Project, which is pushing back on political conspiracy theories and trying to hold accountable elected l

I have read various sources and all of them basically talk about the limitation in their formal that framework initially made the theory applicable only under special and limited conditions. How exactly did Nash set his paper apart. What did he say that Neuman didn't?
