This might be a long shot but Nebulose is musician who had a channel with a bunch of great covers of Elliott's songs.
However, I just discovered, when I went back to listen to his amazing cover of Go By (side note: imo surely Elliott's best song!) that he deleted his channel. Here's the link to his Go By video which is the only link I have.

Hi, I recently got myself the GSO 8 inch professional dobsonian telescope and have used it for a while now. I pointed it at M42 last night and was able to see the trapezium cluster but was unable to discern any nebulosity. I live in a bottle 7-8 area and visibility was low due to fog when I observed M42. M42 was around 35 degrees high in the sky. I am very concerned whether the optics are bad. I was using the provided 2 inch 30mm eyepiece initially, and then switched to a 9mm. Nebulosity was not visible in both the eyepieces. Am I doing something wrong or are the optics very bad? (PS: the telescope was collimated before observing)
