A list of puns related to "Muscarine"
The mod is hidden on nexus and the description of the mod on steam was reedited so I can't see the information of 'The Fool' character. So far I'm attempting to reach out to muscarine to shed more light on this. Does anyone else know more of the situation and is it being resolved anytime soon?
I understand that Ibotenic acid becomes decarboxylated to Muscimol.
Muscarine is apparently at a meagre 0.0003% of fresh weight.

Yet, theoretically, what happens with Muscarine one's we dry Amanita?
Does it breakdown or transform to something else?
Same question with Muscazone?
So I know of the two groups of acetylcholine receptors in the brain, nicotinic and muscarinic. From what I know, they share similar properties (when antagonists of them are taken, it can cause delirium). My question is, given nicotineβs addictive properties through the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, can muscarine in sub toxic doses, become addictive in the same way as nicotine? If not, why?
I'm mostly not into women so the art style just comes off as really obnoxious. Are the classes good enough to counterbalance that?
You can get the Fawn here, and my patch here. My patches now have an integrated Crimson Court/Blood Red Court patch, so if you own CC, nothing additional needed, and if not, it'll still work fine.
Feel free to ask or suggest anything here, or report bugs. Since this is an initial release I fully expect to need to tweak balance.
I also have a changelog here if you want to see what's changed.
Finally, you can see my other mods here and come talk to me on Discord if you wanna talk about my patches, Moonlit Dungeon, or CCC :P Currently working on Occultist trinkets, Moonlit Dungeon stuff, and an Offering PBD patch.
I have the mods by subscribing via Steam, and found the files for the mods themselves. Not sure how to modify them to change their descriptions though.
Psilocybin allegedly evolved from muscarine, a chemical still found in trace amounts in Amanita Muscaria (not to be confused with muscimol, Amanitaβs primary psychoactive constituent.) Is there any significance to this similarity, and could it signify a common ancestor between the two mushrooms?

If you haven't tried his class mods because you were worried about kids/parents seeing a nipple, fear NO MORE! These classes are quite fun and well worth giving a try. You will need to download both the original class mod, and the SFW edit.
Anyone here who can remember this game?
I'm the author of this still unfinished game.
And now, about 17 years later, I have plans to continue this an finaly release Part II. :)
After the crash I had with the anthistaminic chlorphenamine (that was actually a real SSRI) a few years ago, I study every possible drug that I have to take, specially anthistaminics, as some of them are true ''unlabeled' ' SSRI'S.
I was prescribed desloratadine, another anthistaminic and the only thing I can find about it is that it is muscarinic acetycholine receptors antagonist, does this represents any danger to PSSD? It's supposed to be similar to loratadine, but loratadine is not muscarinic antagonist as far as I've read. Loratadine is beneficial for PSSD in my case.
I don't want to screw everything again.
I would appreciate any opinions.
Thanks.
Look at the 3d view for Benzydamine, then for DPH.
DPH and Benzydamine are EXTREMELY similar.
They have the SAME branch off of carbons, nitrogens, and oxygens. This is the primary reason that DPH is anticholinergic btw.
Hell there's even 2 carbon rings on Benzydamine, just like DPH.
BUT it is important to note the extra penta w/ nitrogen and the different placement of the rings may affect the pharmacology significantly.
Although it still seems odd to me why there isn't any muscarinic action.
Hell the alternative to no muscarinic action is D2 action, which doesn't seem to be seen either. Odd.
Hello,
Thank you for reading this. Throughout the first year of medical school, nearly every drug with anti-H1 activity has also had some degree of anti-muscarinic activity. I have a couple of ideas why this might be the case, but would greatly appreciate any expert input.
Thank you.
Uh, hi there, when clicking on /u/twitchy_bar profile, I saw this may be where the information may be the most helpful.
Long story short: I make DIY transdermals using existing research work.
/u/twitchy_bar came to ask for some help last week, as there's a drug in phase 2 trials backed by very promising publications, pirezepine : /r/estrogel/comments/mu800o/compounding_for_nerve_pain_need_a_cream_with/
I'm preparing various approaches to formulate it either in a patch, a lotion, or in a gel, to be use transdermally (of course, I'll stay clear of the neurotoxic DMSO, duh!).
I have no idea what would be the most helpful: patches could be cut to whatever shape (it's like a thin jello layer over a flat aluminum foil) but if your neuropathy is in your hand, good luck with the origami :)
Also, I have no idea of how easily you guys may get the active ingredient (are you familiar with alibaba?) or even the excipients.
Anyway, I've posted the initial research on /r/estrogel/comments/myrc82/selective_m1r_anti_muscarinic_topical_for_nerve/ as I'm just going blind there, all feedback and help is welcome: it will be integrated in the 2nd part that I'm currently writing.
Just to be clear: I'll be only offering recipes. I do not sell anything. I can make no guarantees whether it works or not. All I can say is my recipe will get the active principle through the skin, where it may (or may not) help with nerve regeneration. You are on your own to buy and mix the ingredients.
The question might be too basic for you guys but iam a pharmacy student and i read that the action of ACh on muscarinic receptors causes stimulation in some organs. It causes contraction in the airway of the respiratory tract. And it increases the secretions of sweat and salivary glands. While ACh has an inhibition effect of some other organs. It causes relaxation of the heart and smooth muscles in the blood vessels.
My question might be dumb but what gives? What is the thing that makes it stimulate an organ and inhibit the other?
We were watching the mushroom episode of x-files when they mentioned ibotanic acid, which I remembered from reading about amanita muscaria. My SO is in healthcare and mentioned that magic mushrooms work on muscarinic receptors. I thought muscaria and psilocybe were fundamentally different in how they affect the brain though?
So what I understand is:
Adrenergic receptors use noradrenaline and adrenaline, and is part of the sympathetic nervous system.
Cholinergic receptors use acetylcholine, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system.
Muscarinic agonists activate the parasympathetic nervous system, but nicotinic receptors activate the sympathetic nervous system.
But cholinergic receptors have both muscarinic and nicotinic receptors.
How does that work? Specifically:
Acetylcholine is part of the parasympathetic nervous system, but there's nicotinic receptors there? But also muscarinic?
So why does acetylcholine sometimes trigger the sympathetic nervous system instead of the parasympathetic nervous system? And why does excess ACh, as there would be if you use AChE inhibitors, cause parasympathetic nervous system activation instead?
In which circumstances does ACh trigger which nervous system and why?
I am so confused.
I ask this because Wellbutrin is a nicotinic acetylcholine antagonist and in overdose it causes hallucinations just like something like dph, it also has the seizure thing but that could be something entirely different. So I was wondering if nicotinic antagonists might also be neurotoxic.
Hi everyone,
I wanted to reverse awful and long-lasting side effects of amitriptyline, the problems with breathing that the drug creates by blocking muscarinic acetylcholine receptors M1, M2, and M3 in the nasal passages.
I read that Alpha GPC can counteract anticholinergic effects of anticholinergic drugs like amitryptiline because it's pro choline but I'm not sure if it will work for this specific problem: the dry nose and lack of moist leading to difficulty breathing. Do you have any knowledge or insight on this topic?
Thank you Xx!
Theravida is currently working on making a oral medication for Hyperhidrosis they just got through phase 2 and phase 3 should start anytime soon and its very likely in the coming years that we will be able to ry this medication just something to look forward too. The medication is called THVD-102 btw
I remember reading a few articles and posts on here recently saying how Diphenhydramine is bad for your brain. Is it the same with these 2 others meds mentioned in the title? I take them for sleep and has been working wonders for me. Thanks
You can get the Hollow here, the patch here, the Blood Red Court patch here, and see the changelog here.
Feel free to direct all balance feedback or suggestions toward me, and report any bugs! I tested it for crashes and didn't find any but if anything seems off, let me know. You can message me here or find me on the Discord, linked on the sidebar; I'm a moderator there so I should be easy to spot.
I also make trinkets for vanilla and PBD if you're into that :P New update soonish when I'm not so swamped with responsibilities.
You can get the Offering here, and my patch here for Steam, or here for Nexus. My patches now have an integrated Crimson Court/Blood Red Court patch, so if you own CC, nothing additional needed, and if not, it'll still work fine.

For anyone wondering what's coming up, I'm currently working on Occultist trinkets for CCC, Moonlit Dungeon stuff (still coming along!), a fix for Fury's tooltips, Hood patch, and Shrapnel patch. Occ trinket art is almost done, Hood patch should be done in a week or two, Fury tooltips after that, and all the while I'm still updating MLD for alpha testers (and leaking the occasional teaser on Tumblr.
Enjoy!
Edit: Oh, by the way, the fallen hero fight for this one is a little teaser for MLD or, more accurately, for the fact that I'm planning to make fallen hero fights a bit more... interesting. Try not to die!

This is likely my last PBD patch; with Silvio retiring from modding and updating PBD, it seems like a better call to work on my own overhaul and patch everything over to MLD instead. If the mood takes me I might take some time out to do Cataphract or Shrapnel, but I can't say it's likely.
Enjoy!
You can get the Tusk here, my patch here, and the Blood Red Court patch here.
Feel free to ask or suggest anything here, or report bugs. Since this is an initial release I fully expect to need to tweak balance a little bit over time (Mastodon in particular is a skill I'm keeping an eye on).
I also have a changelog and a stat block for her if you care about raw numbers. Finally, you can see my other mods here if you'd like :P I have a few trinket sets getting art done right now, starting the Librarian PBD patch next, and then more of Musc's classes as well as more trinkets.
