A list of puns related to "Montmartre"
i was in paris for the first time the other day and went to montmartre.
as i was walking, i saw some stores that sell all sorts of meat, fresh and prepared, and it also looks like they have cooked ones, like ready to eat, displayed at the top of the glass shelf/counter. there were locals in there so i thought id check it out. i fell in line but as my turn to order got closer and closer, i felt so overwhelmed, i had to leave. (i instantly regret it tho :c )
anyway my question is, in these stores, can you buy in portions? like if i just want quarter of a chicken, can you do that? also, are roasted chicken a traditional french food? is it common for locals to prefer these specialty stores to get their meat supply? and lastly, they do sell cooked food in there right? just making sure my eyes arent playing tricks on me.
thank you.
Hi everyone!
Recently I stumbled upon a true gem for French language learners. It's called Loulou de Montmartre. This show is about a young orphan girl in 19th-20th century Paris who goes on a chase for her true heritage. The story is immaculate and the vibe is a bit dark and gloomy, yet hopeful and cheery.
It's a show I used to watch with Dutch overdubs when I was a young kid (because that's my native language), but when rewatching all episodes on YouTube in the original French version, I realized that it could be useful for those who like animated series and want to strengthen their French level.
I hope you'll enjoy this series, it has a lot of nostalgia to it for me.

The Bicep show was sold out (understandably) and I (23M) was on the waiting list. I finally got tickets to go and Iβm so excited, anyone from here going too? Wanna hang?
No one I know here enjoys this type of music so I usually end up going alone. Would also like to meet a couple people to go clubbing with now and then.
